For BzzAgent, I got to try a great product, Tone Body Wash. It comes in several different great scents; Pink Peony and Rose Oil, Crushed Grapes and Shea Butter, Mango Splash, Oatmeal and Shea Butter.

The great scents make me feel like I just pampered myself at the spa.

Redbox Instant

Through Bzz Agent I tried Redbox Instant Streaming.

When I first was presented with the opportunity to try Redbox Instant I was excited. I have Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime already, but I wanted to see what my options were on redbox.

I was sorely disappointed after signing up. Most of the movies on redbox are also available on Netflix or were just not anything I was interested in watching. There are no tv shows available to watch.

The streaming option is very hard to to navigate and start watching. I would be logged in already, and have to click on a link that took me to the subscription page and log in again. It was frustrating not to be able to just go to the movies section and pick the movie I want to watch.

The subscription comes with four free kiosk rentals, which is kind of nice. But when I want to watch a movie, I want to watch it right then, not have to drive around to find a movie. It is nice to be able to look online for a kiosk that has the movie I am looking for and reserve it. I have before driven around the city, stopping at several different kiosks trying to find a certain movie.

It was nice to try Redbox instant, and it is still in the beta phase. But unless a lot more movie and tv options are available to watch, I will stick with Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Fage Greek Yogurt

I’ve become a Bzz Agent. I had the opportunity to try Fage Greek Yogurt.

I eat Greek Yogurt pretty much everyday. I like to mix a Chocolate Vita Top in it to help out the flavor. Honestly, I tried Fage a couple years ago, I got the honey flavor, and I thought it was horrible. But now I see all of the different flavors, unique combinations not found with any other yogurt, I had to try it.

So when I got the invite to try Fage, I was very excited. I got some Passion Fruit Clementine yogurt and kiwi Papaya Passion Fruit. My sister in law got the Cherry Pomegranate yogurt. We absolutely loved them!

It’s really fun to tip the flavor cup over and dump it into the yogurt. I will definitely be buying more of this in the future! I really want to try the mango Guanabana and blueberry Acai flavors!

It’s Been Awhile

So, the last time I blogged here, was my 26th birthday, almost 2 years ago. I’ve missed it.

I have been doing a lot of projects off of Pinterest recently and wanted to share my creations.

So to start, one thing I made were some soap pouches.

The pink one has something in it, and the purple one is empty.

The first time I saw this pin, I knew I had to make it. I was sick of my shower puff falling apart every couple of months or so. Washcloths were always way too much cloth for my small hands. Body wash can be expensive.

All you need is:

A Washcloth
Needle
Thread
Scissors

So, I first cut the washcloth in half. I folded the bottom up about 3/4 of the way, so there was a flap to tuck into the pouch. I sewed up the sides, with the side of the washcloth I wanted on the outside, on the inside.I flipped the pouch inside out and put a bar of soap inside, tucked the flap around the soap.

I used this in the shower the other night, and it was nice. Except for the cloth getting stuck to the soap every once in a while, it was pretty nice. Just make sure to take the soap out after use and ring out all the suds and water so it can dry and doesn’t start to smell like mildew until you are ready to wash.

Normally I do Wordless Wednesdays.
Today, I’m not because it is my 26th birthday.

Wow. That’s really hard to believe.
I’ve been wondering to myself lately, “When did this happen? When did I become a grown-up?”
I’ll be getting married next week, I picked up the license yesterday, we got the judge and picked the park.

I don’t think I should have any more birthdays. I think last years’ birthday was my last. Nothing exciting planned. Probably go to the gym and the man make me dinner.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my most memorable birthday. It was my 5th birthday. I woke up everyday for a week before and would tell myself “I’m 5 now. I won’t cry anymore.” Then something that day would make me cry and I would tell myself the same thing the next day. That birthday I got Hungry, Hungry Hippos and we went to St. Louis.

We get these ideas in our heads that we have to have accomplished something or be a certain way by a certain age. Like a professor I had once said “Normal should only be a setting on a dryer.”

I painted my nails as flags.
We grilled some burgers. And watched movies.
I got a little sunburn!

I went to the gym to run my virtual 5k! I did it on the treadmill so much fun!

It was nice to have another 5k to do. I tried to find one in the area with no luck. I finished it in 38minutes 12seconds!

- According to my calendar and Canadian peeps, today is Canada. K and I are very disappointed that we are at work today. We feel we should get the day off. (Even though we're in US)

- So I still haven't gotten around to looking at the pictures I took on vacation. Hopefully this weekend so I can blog about it.

- Wednesday was K's birthday, so we went to a Japanese steak house for dinner to celebrate.

- My birthday is on Wednesday.

- Im getting married in just under two weeks. I can't believe it's finally happening. We've been engaged for 2 ½ years because of reasons I won't get into. We're just having a small wedding at the courthouse.

- I'm working on potty training the cat. It's going pretty well, we are on step 2. Though I didn't clean out the pan enough in the first step so she pooped in some clothes. Not cool.

- July is a crazy month. We have 3 birthdays in a row in my family. Me on the 6^th, my man on the 7^th, and my sister in law's on the 8^th. Then my brother's on the 19^th.

Genealogy

So recently I have become very interested in my genealogy.
Mainly, I wanted to find the royalty in my family to have evidence that I really
am better than everyone else. I know my family had at least two castles.

Dunster castle in England and Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland.

Sunday, I signed up with ancestory.com, I gotta say, it's pretty much amazing.
I love the images of war registration and all of the other historical documents.My sister mentioned the DAR (Daughters of American Revultion) I am now interested in being in it. I know on my dad's side I qualify. I want to find someone on my mom's side
so she can join too.

Moronic Monday

So I had a morning that was too interesting not to share. And make you seem a little smarter.

So this morning I had a doctor's appointment so I decided I would go to the gym before going.
So I get dressed and pack clothes to change into and head off to the gym.

I jump on the treadmill, spend five minutes untangling my headphones.

Then start running.

After a couple of minutes a thought pops into my head.

Underwear.

I forgot to bring new underwear to change into. Crap!

Ok, no big deal. I'll just make sure I'm done in time to go to Wal-Mart first to buy some,

and put them on in the bathroom. I needed a couple other things too.

Problem solved.

So I finish working out and take my shower.

As I am getting dressed, this lady makes a comment about hating going places

after the gym and having to bring clothes to change into cause she always forgets something, like her underwear.

Now, I'm a little uneasy cause I don't know if she said that cause she noticed I didn't have any or what.

So I gave a little nervous laugh, "Oh yea I hate it too. I normally come after work so I don't have to worry about it."

I finish getting dressed and book it out of there.

So, I get to Wal-Mart. I wonder around trying to figure out where they keep the protein shakes.

I finally find them and have everything I need and head to the register.

Pay for my things and then it hits me.

Most Wal-Marts have a bathroom in the front of the store and one at the back.

Not this one.

This one only has one at the back of the store.

So I have to walk clear across the store to make the change.

As I'm doing this, they are having a staff meeting up front doing their Wal-Mart cheer and stuff.

I felt so weird doing so, cause I felt everyone's eyes on me like they knew what I was doing.

I'm sure they didn't just that mind set when this kind of thing happens.

Maybe the cashier, since instead of walking out the front door to leave, I turned around and headed to the back.

So that was my fun start to the week.

Hello Everyone!!

I've been away for a while. We went on vacation to see my nephew graduate high school.

I had originally planned to still have posts everyday,

then I didn't get to it before I left, and wasn't really on the computer

while on vacation.

We went to Boston. While it was a ton of fun, I'm glad to be home. The best part was seeing my sister, since the last time I saw her was dad's funeral, almost 3 years ago. Now driving around here, drivers seem to be good drivers compared to how bad they are there.

I will post more about my vacation later.

Hi! My name is Angela, and I blog over at Craving Cupcakes. Andi and I go way back…to the days of Live Journal! We’ve known each other for years ( at least 5 or 6), so I definitely count her as one of my best blogging friends!

I’ve definitely become known as a baker among my friends and family. If you stop by my blog, you’ll even see that I post recipes every week (along with other things). Baking is just what I do. I’m good at it. Funny thing is, I’m not much of a cook. Before my boyfriend came along, I couldn’t cook anything. Here’s something you should know about me: I don’t like math or science. I hate numbers. Baking is supposed to be some sort of a science, where you have to get the measurements exactly right in order to churn out a delicious master piece. Cooking is a little more generous in that you can just toss in whatever you like and it’ll still turn out to be tasty. No exact measurements there. You’d think that cooking would be more my thing, but it’s baking that I love. I love the fact that there’s a set recipe, in fact, I need that. I can’t cook if there’s no recipe. I don’t know why I’m like this when it comes to baking and cooking, but I don’t think my friends and family are complaining too much. I shower them with freshly baked goods! Besides, I’m dating an excellent cook.

Hey y'all! I'm Hayley from Blue Eyed Blonde. I haven't blogged over there in a while, but I'm trying to get back into it. I was excited when I was asked to write this guest post.

I graduated from college last year with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Photography, and I'm in the process of setting up my own photography business in Northeast Florida. I have shot a few engagement sessions, and a few sessions of my nieces. If you gave me a choice of anything to photograph, I'd pick landscapes. They are so beautiful to me and I could spend the rest of my life photographing nature and landscapes. I also have an obsession with taking pictures of buildings, especially old ones (I get this from my dad).

Running, Running and Running Running

This weekend I ran in my first 5k.

It was so much fun. In fact I'm looking for a 5k race to do when we go on vacation!

I read one of Iowa Girl Eat's posts about running and how it's ok to make noise when you run.

The last about quarter mile, this guy near me was encouraging me and helped me be able to run the last bit.

I was grunting and making a lot of noise. I think it scared him. I think he thought I was about to die.

My goal before the race was to finish in 45 minutes. As you can see I completed it in 41 minutes and 34 seconds.

I'm so proud of that time.

I have friends on facebook that run marathons, and mention losing toe nails after doing one.

I had blood on my sock, so I felt like a real runner.

So this morning I was listening to the Johnny Dare Morning show.

He was talking to Lisa Lampanelli and I have to say, She is pretty much amazing.

She did a show in Topeka KS. Being home of the Westboro Baptist "Church", they of course had

to show up to protest the show. She said this made her really mad and wanted to do something to get back
at them for their hatred.

So she did probably one of the worst things she could do. She pledged to donate $1000 to the Gay Men's Health Crisis

for every protester that showed up. Her driver counted 44 protesters, Fred's people say they had 48 protesters.

Instead of arguing about the number of protesters, she donated an even $50,000 to the center. On the novelty check she presented them

she included "Donation made possible by the WBC."

This is the best way I have heard of fighting the WBC. They thrieve on hate and suing everybody. so instead of

stooping to their level this is amazing. Of course I've heard they are planning on protesting in Joplin, so maybe

a celebrity could do the same and donate the money to helping Joplin...

Today's quotes are about Tornados for all of us that live in Tornado Alley. There were a couple that briefly touched down a couple miles
from my house yesterday. Spent a couple hours in the "safe area" at work while sirens were going off.
I plan on driving by where one of them touched down on my way home to see how bad it was.

Our hearts are with those in Joplin (about 3 hours South of here). Last I heard, about 130 people dead, 900 injured, and 230 still missing.

Joplin MO has been devesated by bad weather, the past three nights they have had severe weather which prohibits them for searching for survivors.
The toll stands at 122 dead, 9 survivors rescued, 750 injured. There is no estimate to how many are missing due to bad cell reception and people leaving the area.
