Lady Gaga bids big for Alexandra McQueen lot at auction

2012-06-29T04:41:00.000-07:00

Lady Gaga continued to break records on Wednesday when she reportedly paid the highest ever price for an Alexander Mcqueen creation at a charity auction.

Socialite and style icon Daphne Guinness put a huge collection of her haute couture wardrobe under the hammer at Christie’s in London, including several items by the late designer.

Gaga, who was a massive fan of the couturier’s work, gave the auction a boost by outbidding rivals to buy a dress, eventually spending a record-breaking $136,400 via her phone-bids.

The singer is now the proud owner of a 2008 ivory silk gown, entitled The Girl Who Lived In The Tree, according to Britain’s Associated Press.

Guinness says, “I’m overwhelmed by how many bidders took part … and I’m particularly moved by Lady Gaga’s support for the foundation. I like her very much, and it’s lovely to see the nascent beginnings of something that may help other people.”

The auction raised $747,200 for the Isabella Blow Foundation, set up in memory of the late fashion guru.

Teen Mom Jenelle Evans And Fiance Arrested And Jailed

2012-06-27T02:31:00.000-07:00

"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans and her fiance were both arrested and jailed on Saturday, reports RadarOnline.com.

The troubled mom, whose feuds with Gary Head have been a recurring feature on the show, called the police after a fight with Head, who was promptly arrested, according to her Twitter account. And she was reportedly arrested for drug possession, reports RadarOnline.com. The two have now been bailed out, reports Teen Mom Talk.

Naturally, the whole drama was played out on Twitter, tossing the whole concept of TMI out the window.

Head tweeted: "F**k that crazy b*tch @PBandJenelley_1. I finally packed my sh*t and left that b*tch."

To which, Jenelle responded: "@gary_head more like 'she called the cops on me and I ran out of that b*tch."

Then Head tweeted: "@PBandJenelley_1 u called the cops when I took my ring back and already ha my cloths packed," Gary tweeted. "How you think u jumped the county so fast."

Later, Gary's brother, Travis Head, confirmed the saga by tweeting: "Man f**k that b*tch!!!! My bro in jail."

Jennifer Aniston Engagement Rumors: Star Steps Out With Diamond Ring (PHOTO)

2012-06-27T02:19:00.001-07:00

Is she or isn't she?

Jennifer Aniston can't seem to escape those pesky engagement rumors, but it's not as though she's trying too hard to avoid them either. According to X17online.com, the star and her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, returned from Paris on Monday and she was spotted sporting what appears to be a diamond ring.

X17online.com

However, before anyone starts sounding the engagement alarms, take a closer look: Aniston's ring is on her right hand, not her left, which is the traditional hand placement for an engagement ring.

X17online.com

One other thing to note: She's stepped out with this ring before! She was spotted wearing it in Paris and earlier in June at the 40th AFI Life Achievement Awards Honoring Shirley MacLaine in Los Angeles.

Of course, this isn't the first time Aniston has been subject to engagement rumors based on a ring. Last year, when she stepped out with a gold ring on her left hand, rumors started swirling that the couple was ready to tie the knot. However, it turns out the couple just likes to wear matching "Justin" and "Jennifer" rings, without any marriage proposals in the picture.

Though if Theroux did pop the question to Aniston -- the couple was rumored to be scouting wedding locations in Paris, after all -- we have a feeling the actress might skip tradition when it comes to her second wedding.

Tell us: Are Aniston and Theroux really engaged this time around, or are they just having a little fun at the expense of the media? Sound off below!

Kim Kardashian in Beautiful Style

2012-05-03T01:24:00.001-07:00

Kim Kardashian was spotted heading to the restaurant cafeteria in New York. She wore a pair of J Brand Quatro Leather Pants in Black RTW again. I'm happy to see her wear these again. I think they are so cool.

Although I believe that this aspect is great in Kim and suits her very well, I'd like to see more than just a boyfriend blazer and a blouse with your jeans. I would like to see her more casual with their eyes, especially when using them. I would love to see her take on these casual pants.

Kim Kardashian Kanye West Earrings

2012-04-25T05:27:00.001-07:00

When celebrities get super serious romances, sometimes the parties involved are used matching suits (never forget!) Or courage, get tattoos of names of others.

But Kim Kardashian chose a novel technique to show how her new rumored relationship with rapper Kanye West. The reality star landed at LAX airport on Sunday wearing a jersey and color-block leather pants paired with a black Birkin.

Yet another accessory Kim won, even as expensive Hermes bag - wearing gold earrings post with the initials "K" and "W" (Her apparent Hickey, however, was gone.)

The couple is rumored hung in New York on Saturday, eating ice cream in SoHo and then dinner in the Meatpacking District below.

We suspect Kim knew exactly what she was doing in the water supply to the rumor mill, considering her ponytail. Girl is not stupid.

Jessie J: ‘I’m not a Secret lesbian’

2012-04-19T20:47:00.000-07:00

British pop star Jessie J has darned a report signifying she’s a secret lesbian and was recommended to hide her sexuality to evade losing her best ever deal, insisting: “None of its true.”

The new unofficial biography “Jessie J: Who’s Laughing Now” suggests the “Price Tag” hitmaker, who has previously revealed she is bisexual, was told to keep quiet about her love life for fear of alienating fans.

Author Chloe Govan writes, “Jessie might have been with boys in the past, but she is 100 percent gay. Jessie was openly lesbian and didn’t hide it. She was advised not to come out though. Certain people thought being bi was trendy, exotic and a fashion statement. It would increase her allure. Being gay would alienate people.”

But the singer has since hit back at the report, branding it “boring” and “untrue.”

In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, “It’s funny how many people I’ve datedslept (sic) with that I’ve never even met according to the tabloids. BUT what’s that?! *whispers because its a secret* I’m really a lesbian?! Ha!

“Thanks for writing yet another boring untrue story. I thought I was still dating Tinie (Tempah), NO Ellie G (Goulding), NO Mark Wright… bla bla bla! cantkeepup noneofitstrue.”

Nicki Minaj ‘shocked’ by Madonna kiss

2012-04-19T20:42:00.000-07:00

Nicki Minaj was shocked and trembling when Madonna put a kiss on her lips in a video shoot, asserting she was influenced it was a dream.

The singers teamed up with the Material Girl to film advertise for their way “Give Me All Your Luvin’” in December, just days ahead of Minaj’s 29th birthday.

Madonna surprised the star by giving her with a cake and kissing her full on the lips as an early birthday gift – and Minaj admits the saucy surprise left her speechless.

Nicki Minaj tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, “You can’t really call it making out. She kissed me but I didn’t kiss her. I wasn’t expecting it and was shocked like everyone else. I was shaking and thinking, ‘Is this really happening and why is she doing this?’

“It was the eccentric thing, except she had very soft lips… I guess you could say that (she’s a good kisser), but we didn’t hang around in that lip locking thing. It wasn’t all drawn out and crazy.”

Angelina Jolie: 'In The Land Of Blood And Honey' Inspired Great Fear, Great Emotion

2012-03-29T19:56:00.001-07:00

Angelina Jolie wasn't always an expert on the Bosnian War. That's one reason she wanted to make a movie about it. "I was very confused as to what were the Balkans, and what exactly happened, and why," says the actress. "Nobody could give me the answer I was looking for. And I remain confused about the region."

But Jolie had another, more personal reason for making "In the Land of Blood and Honey," her directorial debut, which comes out Tuesday on DVD and Blu-ray. The war that raged inside the former Yugoslavia from 1992 to 1995 was the most brutal conflict on European soil since World War II, and many of the people it affected were members of Jolie's generation. People like Vanessa Glodjo, whom Jolie cast in her film. "[While] I was driving back from class in Los Angeles," Jolie says, "she was running across sniper fire to get back to class."

Jolie spent two years making "In the Land of Blood and Honey," serving as writer, producer and (Golden Globe-nominated) director. But that's not all. She actually shot two versions of the entire movie, one in the region's native languages (Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian) and a second -- available for the first time in the new DVD edition -- in English.

To mark the DVD's release, Jolie spoke with The Huffington Post about the film's emotional reception in Sarajevo, her desire (or lack thereof) to direct again, and her belief that she and her partner, Brad Pitt, are obligated to help make the world a better place -- not because they're celebrities, but because they're people.

How did audiences in Bosnia receive "In the Land of Blood and Honey," a famous person's film about a tough issue so important to them?

The few weeks in Sarajevo was the most extraordinary, moving experience I've ever had. We ended up screening it at a place [the Zetra Olympic Hall] for over 6,000 people, that was originally built for the Olympics, which was a symbol for them of right before the war and a positive thing in their country. During the war, it was a place where a lot of bodies were buried. So going into that building was emotional. The whole experience was emotional. Some of the cast members who were Bosnian Serbs hadn't really been back since the war, and they were walking back into where they grew up with a piece of art that they hoped would be interpreted the right way, but they weren't sure.

And what was the audience's reaction after the film had played?

We all stood off the stage nervously holding hands and waiting for it to end, and wondering if somebody was going to scream or throw something, or if we were going to be safe onstage. And they stood up. It was extremely moving -- we all cried. It didn't feel like it was a film. The film didn't matter in the moment where, somehow, I feel like they felt that we did our best. And we tried. And they would forgive any small things and just see the overall, and the overall seemed to move them. And they received it, and they accepted it, and we stayed up until 3 o'clock in the morning speaking with a lot victims of war, and crying a lot and hugging a lot.

Meanwhile, the critical response to your film was mixed. Which leads me to the question: Is it more important for you as a director to get a message across, or more important for it be considered a work of art?

The most important thing is not to get the message wrong. That was what I sat with at the end of the day: I want to spend two years, I want to learn about a new craft, and more importantly, I want to learn about a history and a country and a people, and I know if I focus on this, in a few years I'll be better for it. I'll have grown as a person and have learned something about life. And in doing so, you hope that you can return with something that does right by all the people that trusted and came together and kind of shared and put their own history on the line. You don't want to do something and somebody says we misinterpreted the message. That was my great fear.

You just don't want to mess it up.

Yeah. It was a dramatic interpretation, not a documentary. You can't please everybody. And it's a very fresh war. But at the same time, it's my first film, so just to survive … [laughs]. I was actually very happy about the reviews. I was very happy reading some of the reviews in Europe, because it's a European film.

The DVD features a never-seen-before English version. What was it like shooting the movie twice? Which version do you hope people watch, the Bosnian or the English version?

The Bosnian. A film like that, it's not just to tell the pieces of the history so much as to give you a feeling of who these people are, what it is, what it feels like, what it sounds like. To meet the Yugoslavian people. You don't really get that completely when they're not speaking in their language. But I also am happy that we have the English, because I didn't want to make a film just for people that like history, and foreign films. I wanted to make a film for people that don't know about this war, but really don't like to go to foreign films.

A lot of people won't watch anything with subtitles.

It was really hard on the actors. We did two takes in one, and two takes in the other, on average. We even had the producers say to us, "If you fall behind in the first week, you have to cut a language." The nice thing was, it brought us all together as a team.

After having your directorial debut be nominated for a Golden Globe, do you plan to direct another movie?

I'd love to one day. I had such a wonderful experience. I think I have to be as compelled. It's a lot of hard work, and it's a lot harder for me than acting. I loved it. But it's a much longer commitment. It's your life for two to three years. It has to be something about that matters and I haven't found anything [else I feel that strongly about]. If I just did one, I'm happy, because I learned a lot.

When the breakup of the former Yugoslavia happened, you must have been in your teens. Were you interested in the Bosnian conflict at this time? Did you ever imagine that you'd be directing a movie about it 20 years later?

No, I didn't. And I think that's part of why I did. You know [about] my travels. It's the part of the world that, when I visit, I couldn't understand. There were a lot of conflicts that I tried to learn about, but it was the one I couldn't get all the pieces of, I couldn't get all the information. I was very confused as to what were the Balkans, and what exactly happened, and why, and why did it eventually take so long. Nobody could give me the answer I was looking for. And I remain confused about the region.

So it was really why I wanted to make the film, because I knew it happened in my generation, to my generation. Some of the cast members were my age. Vanessa [Glodjo] -- [while] I was driving back from class in Los Angeles, she was running across sniper fire to get back to class.

That's a creepy parallel.

It's kind of amazing. It was important that we would meet and compare our lives and learn about each other, especially that I learn about her.

Do you think famous people have a responsibility to draw attention to a cause or social issue?

I tend to not think about it as a celebrity thing, but as a human thing. Celebrities just have a louder voice. I feel like we're living in a very interesting time, where people are more aware of the world, traveling more in the world. Young people are more engaged. Everybody has this responsibility. I tend to not sum it up to not if you have money, or if you have celebrity, but as no matter who you are. Certainly Brad [Pitt] and I have been fortunate enough to have success, be able to shine a light into the camera a little more, financially build something, support people or programs. We're very, very lucky.

Michael Jackson - Conrad Murray On Suicide Watch After Verdict

2011-11-08T06:00:00.000-08:00

Dr. Conrad Murray has been placed on suicide watch. The physician was remanded in custody yesterday (07.11.11) after being found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - and an unnamed law enforcement official told the Los Angeles Times newspaper that staff were told to ensure he does not try to take his own life at Los Angeles County Jail.

In addition, Murray has been deemed a "keep away inmate", meaning jail officials will take special precautions to keep him safe, including giving him a single cell for his own protection.

TMZ.com states he will also be assigned an "escort" to accompany him wherever he goes - including to the shower - and he will not be allowed to mingle with other inmates.

Murray - who lost his medical license as a result of the court ruling - will be sentenced on November 29 and faces a maximum of four years in prison.

Superior Court judge Michael Pastor cited "public safety" as the reason why he has been detained until his next court appearance.

He explained: "Public safety demands that he is remanded. With no bail in the interim he is to be kept in the care and custody of the Los Angeles County Sherriff's Office."

Lady Gaga flashes at Fashion Designers Awards Show

2011-06-08T07:45:00.000-07:00

Lady Gaga was left red-faced as she arrived at an awards ceremony on Monday when her corset fell down and exposed her bare breasts.

The "Poker Face" hitmaker was invited to collect the Fashion Icon prize at the Annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York, and she dressed up in a wig and elaborate black dress to attend the ceremony at the Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

However, Gaga seemed unfazed and went on to praise Mugler's designing talents in her acceptance speech.
She told the crowd, "I can't believe I'm allowed in here. My sister is here with me tonight. I told her I was very nervous.

"I used to save up my money to buy Mugler vintage archive. I used to save up all my money. I had to have it. That's really what fashion is all about for me. I already felt like I had made it before I had made it. All of you made me feel like a star before I was. Thank you for believing in me."

Marc Jacobs won the night's lifetime achievement award and other stars in attendance at the event included Kanye West, Naomi Watts, Lucy Lui and Marcia Cross.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Separates from His Wife

2011-05-10T07:49:00.000-07:00

Arnold Schwarzenegger is no longer living with his wife Maria Shriver while the pair ''work on the future'' of their relationship.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has separated from his wife Maria Shriver.

The 'Terminator' actor - who completed seven years as the Republican Governor of California in January - is no longer living with his spouse after much "thought, reflection and discussion".
However, they insist their children Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13, are the "light" in their lives and they will "continue" to parent them together.

The couple said in a statement: "This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together.

“Thought, reflection and discussion”

"At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.
"We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the centre of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter, and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. "

Shriver - the niece of assassinated US President John F. Kennedy - has moved out of their home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

The couple had problems in their relationship before that - like California voters went to the polls in 2003, six women reported being groped by the Austria-born actor on movie sets and studio offices.
However, they stayed together and in 2006 Arnold campaigned to help get re-elected to the office of governor.

Lea, 24, also said she's still getting used to being invited to A-list events and is always worried she will be thrown out of them, such as when she attended the New York Met Gala earlier this week hosted by Vogue Editor Anna Wintour.

She added: "It was outrageous. You never think you're going to be in that room with all those fantastic people!

"I felt like, at any minute, Anna Wintour was going to come up to me and be like, 'Out!' "

'Glee's concert movie is set to come out in the US on August 12.

Katie Price 'not in love' with Leandro

2011-05-03T07:47:00.000-07:00

Katie Price has revealed she is ''not in love'' with new boyfriend Leandro Penna but is happy in her relationship with him.

Katie Price insists she is "not in love" with new man Leandro Penna.

The former glamour model has been dating the Argentinean hunk since February after meeting him at Sir Elton John's Oscars party in Los Angeles but although they are getting on great she insists the relationship is still in its fledgling stages.
Speaking in her reality TV show 'Katie', she revealed: "I'm not in love with the guy, it's only early days. I'm independent, I don't rely on anyone. It's hard for a man, they need to gain my respect. I like to test and see how far I can go. Leo bosses me about all the time."

"I'm not in love with the guy, it's only early days. I'm independent, I don't rely on anyone. It's hard for a man, they need to gain my respect. I like to test and see how far I can go. Leo bosses me about all the time."

Although she isn't ready to say she loves Leandro, Katie insists the thing she likes most about him is the fact he is a real man.
The 32-year-old beauty - who was previously married to Peter Andre and is in the process of divorcing second husband Alex Reid - added: "I've realised what a man's man is. A man's man is somebody who can do DIY, fix your car, cook, change a light bulb. Leo is a man's man. Hard to believe he's only 26."
Katie recently went to Argentina with Leandro to meet his family and while they were in the South American country they were involved in a
car accident that killed two horses.
Although she has said she isn't in love with the model, the TV star wrote "Es todo un tierno. Lo amo" which roughly translates as "It's all tender. I love him", on her twitter page in March.

Lindsay Lohan 'Ready to Accept' Jail Time

2011-04-26T08:53:00.000-07:00

Lindsay Lohan is "angry" about her looming 120-day jail sentence, but is willing to accept her punishment and serve out her time, according to her producer pal Nathan Folks.

The "Mean Girls" star was charged with probation violation by a judge in Los Angeles on Friday and ordered back to jail for a fourth time.

The sentence - which also includes 400 hours of community service - came as she pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge relating to the alleged theft of a necklace from a California jewelry store back in January. The judge decided the accusation constituted a violation of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI charge and Lohan was booked into a California jail before being freed on bail to appeal the sentence.

Movie producer Folks has now spoken out about his close friend's situation, revealing the 24 year old feels disappointed as she was looking forward to getting her acting career back on track with a number of new film roles.

He tells , "She is fine. Obviously, she is upset about (being sentenced to four months in jail)... She is angry because she has been working so hard on turning her life around. She didn't do what they said she did. She didn't steal that necklace."

Folks also claims Lohan - who was released from three months of court-ordered rehab in January - is prepared to go to jail and attend alcohol and drugs therapy to cement her recovery.

He adds, "Lindsay Lohan is ready to do her time. She wants to go to A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous) and N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous) and to serve her 400 hours (of community service). She has already been doing lots of charity work."

Miley Cyrus Inspires Campaign Against Gypsy Apartheid

2011-04-25T07:27:00.000-07:00

Miley Cyrus may thought that she has less support on her Gypsy Heart tour in the U.S., but in some states, her upcoming shows are briefly inspiring. Ever since the former Disney darling said that "Gypsy Heart is not just a tour for me, but a mission to spread love", the Hindus and Jews community in Nevada began to ask her to raise awareness towards the Gypsy apartheid issue on her tour.

The Hindus and Jews wanted Miley to use her forthcoming tour to spread awareness among people about the apartheid issue suffered by around 15 million European Gypsies. The community hoped that the former "Hannah Montana" star could really "show her love" towards the Gypsy brothers and sisters who were facing societal exclusion and suffering from maltreatment and abandonment in Europe.

The particular community insisted that Miley could be a very effective campaign tool to pursue people's concern on the Gypsy apartheid issue. In the past, some other Hollywood stars had successfully led the world societies to fight against South Africa's apartheid issue. Therefore, the Hindus and Jews believed that Miley could serve for the similar campaign and they would support her for that.

Meanwhile, Miley's Gypsy Heart tour is a part of her "Can't Be Tamed" album promotion. It will start on April 29 to July 2. She will do the tour in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Philippines and Australia.

Lady Gaga Weeps as She Denies Copying Madonna

2011-04-21T08:07:00.000-07:00

Lady Gaga burst into tears when she spoke for the first time to angrily deny the accusations she cheated icon of the Madonna song "Express Yourself" for her song "Born this way."

Critics and fans similar were swift to evaluate the single to Madonna's 1989 classic when it was released in February.

Gaga admits the allegations she copied her hero were heartbreaking, and she wept as she was questioned by a British interviewer about the persistent rumors of plagiarism.

In a feature for Britain's NME magazine, she says, "I am not stupid enough to put out a record and be that moronic. ... I'm a songwriter. I've written loads of music. Why would I try to put out a (copied) song and think I'm getting one over on everybody? That's retarded. What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about. I will look you in your eyes and tell you that I am not dumb enough or moronic enough to think that you are dumb enough or moronic enough not to see that I would have stolen a melody.

"If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It's the same one that's been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I'm the first f**king artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn't mean I'm a plagiarist, it means that I'm f**king smart. Sorry ...

"Nobody in this room at any point looked around and said, oh my God, it's 'Express Yourself.' Not once...

"I was just f**king shell-shocked by it. It's so funny to hear you say, 'It must have been a homage,' I'm like, no. When I homage, I f**king homage with a big sign saying I've done it. Why would I not do that now?"

The "Poker Face" hit maker then wept as Lady Gaga added, "I feel like honestly that God sent me those lyrics and that melody. When you feel a message to give to the world and people are shooting arrows at it ... there's no way for something that pure to be wrong."

Lady Gaga launched into a furious rant during a recent magazine interview over suggestions she is a "manufactured" pop act.

The pop superstar sat down for a chat with Britain's NME magazine and she reacted furiously when asked about her public persona and whether her wigs and costumes are all part of an elaborate act designed by her record label.

She raged, "Let me tell you something. If you f**king rip my hairbow and my wig off my f**king head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f**king make you cry.

"I feel I have been probed endlessly about who the f**k I am. I have been quite open about it. And still nobody seems to have a clue."

Gaga also launched into a furious tirade about songwriters and producers who send her their work, not realizing that she writes her own songs. She adds, "I'm not going to start churning out what you expect. If you want me to be a manufactured act, you can f**k off."

Actress Lindsay Lohan is getting serious about making a movie comeback, insisting she's keen to challenge Blake Lively for roles in two new movies.

Lohan, who is currently in talks to portray Victoria Gotti in the upcoming mob film "Gotti: Three Generations," reveals she's particularly interested in going head to head with Lively to play a good witch in "Oz: The Great & Powerful," opposite pal James Franco, and in Oliver Stone's latest film "Savages."

She tells the New York Post, "I think the only role I could play is Glinda (The Good Witch)... I'll only do the movie if I can work with (James Franco). We're, like, best friends."

Franco has been cast as the leading man in the film, while Mila Kunis is also reportedly onboard the project.

The "Mean Girls" actress also expressed interest in Oliver Stone's stoner drama "Savages," stating, "That's the role I really want."

Celebrity Lohan is keen to make her mark as an actress again following a string of film flops and two years of legal woes and personal crises, which culminated in prison and rehab stints in 2010.

Kim Kardashian Making Marriage Plans

2011-04-15T08:10:00.000-07:00

Socialite and TV star Kim Kardashian is making plans to wed basketball player boyfriend Kris Humphries, and already has her dress picked out for the big day.

The couple has only been dating for five months, but Life & Style magazine reports it's getting serious and Kardashian has started talking about getting married -- and what her ceremony will be like.

The publication claims Kardashian is hoping for a big diamond engagement ring, designed by pal Lorraine Schwartz.

A source says, "Her idol is Elizabeth Taylor, who was a good friend of Lorraine's, so she wants to take inspiration from one of Elizabeth's prized possessions: her famous cushion-cut Krupp diamond. Kim's been talking to Lorraine about it a lot lately."

And Kardashian herself tells Life & Style that she has fantasized about her wedding ever since she was a little girl: "I've envisioned the whole thing. I can't wait to get married. I've found my wedding dress - I mean, I already know what my gown is going to look like. I've thought about it all for so long."

The source reveals Kim Kardashian plans to shop for a Chanel couture gown in Paris: "She wants a white, strapless floor-length gown that's traditional but sexy and makes her feel like a princess."

Lady Gaga Condemns Cosmetic Surgery

2011-04-14T08:39:00.000-07:00

Lady Gaga has taken aim at celebrities who alter their appearance with cosmetic surgery, insisting she can't stand seeing stars flaunting their "brand-new faces" on the cover of magazines.

The "Poker Face" hit Maker is adamant she has never gone under the knife and she disapproves of artists who alter their looks because they are "promoting insecurity" among impressionable fans.

She tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have. I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.

"And how many models and actresses do you see on magazine covers who have brand-new faces and have had plastic surgery, while I myself have never had any plastic surgery? I am an artist, and I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me."

No Vulgarity in Nudity: Poonam Pandey

2011-04-13T02:55:00.000-07:00

There is no vulgarity in nudity, said Poonam Pandey, the model whose offer to go nude before Team India if they won the Cricket World Cup shot the mercury up for the India-Sri Lanka final in Mumbai.

"We were all born nude. People take nudity as vulgarity. I see it in a different way. If I keep it as an offer for bringing the World Cup to India, which incidentally worked (laughs), I see no harm in it," Pandey told us in an interview.

The model's offer hit the headlines prior to the April 2 World Cup final in Mumbai. A court case was also filed against her over the issue.

"After such a long time Team India was again very close to winning the World Cup and I truly wanted to them to be successful. It (going nude in front of the team) was a sort of offering from my side to our cricketers," Pandey told us in an interview.

Does she believe that Team India won the World Cup just so it did not miss her offering?

"No, I won't say that. But I had prayed to God that if India brings the Cup I would strip in front of the team. I am yet to fulfil my commitment though," Pandey said.

But her parents were certainly upset.

"Frankly, when I gave the statement my parents felt very bad. But when I explained to them why I made the offer, they were relieved a bit," she said.

Poonam Pandey, an aspiring actress, is one of the contestants in the fourth season of the action adventure reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' on COLORS channel.

If she could face the whole country over the nudity controversy, competing 12 pairs of contestants in the 'Khatron ke..' show is nothing, the model said.

"I am not afraid of anyone. I wasn't afraid when whole India was after me. There is no chance I fear a bit about the 12 pairs of contestants. On the contrary, I would love to make people fear me," said Pandey.

Asked if she has any particular plan if she wins the reality show, Poonam Pandey said: "I want to keep it a surprise."
