We are so happy to report the Contoura Chair is back- now going by the name of Convita since it is a whole new manufacturer. The Convita was designed by Svein Asbjornsen, and was one of our absolute favorite, most comfortable chairs in the showroom and in our own home! Every guest that comes over calls dibs on the Contoura, so we are happy to tell them they can bring their own Contiva home! This zero gravity, headrest articulating beauty is made in Norway to exacting standards and can come armless or with two upholstered arm options. Truly a chair to be called yours!

Wink is a wall treatment that allows any wall to become a dry erase board! Wink dries clear so any color wall will show through. If it works as well as it says it seems like a great way to get creative without being locked into chalkboard paint or white dry erase panels. Bet my kids would love this...... and a great way to change displays at furnish.!

Part of American Leathers Anniversary Collection, the Tuscany is sleek, elegant, comfortable, and affordable. Modular Arts wall tiles are a fantastic way to add texture and visual interest to any wall. The repeating patterns allow for a seamless look that is sure to catch anyones attention. furnish. has been a Della Robbia dealer for years now, and we love when they add incredible new pieces like this! The Rosen Series is definitely at least an homage to the classic Togo by Ligne Roset, but its smoothed out lines and non-bucket seats give it a sleekness and comfort not found in its predecessor. This is a great addition to an already impressive array of products!

These trivetz by modern-twist are so cool! I just got them in at furnish. a few days ago and was delightfully surprised at their innovation. They are a pot-holder (mold easily around your hand to grab a hot handle), a trivet for your ready-to-go meals, and a cool table runner when you place the interlocking designs together. They are ultra-thick and with many cool colors to choose from, you can definitely place a few around your table!

We came across this wonderful image through the DWELL website, which we of course highly recommend for all design lovers! They in turn got it from the Japanese site Spoon & Tomago, but wherever it is from I love whimsy, the use of color, and the wonderment it creates. Calligaris is a company that we have had for many years now here at furnish., and have always appreciated their level of design. We have always been especially fond of their extension dining tables and dining chairs. This video is a pretty decent spotlight on the looks that Calligaris can accomplish. They have been in business since 1923, and always at the forefront of what can be called "affordable modern"- not meaning cheap in any way, but paying very reasonable prices for great design.

Cushions, creatures, and rugs are at the heart of their company, and working with a few designs and incredible colors, Bholu creates products that liven up the space they are in. Chatou, a project by h2o architects, was designed as a private space for a teenager- wow, what a lucky kid! Totally remodeling a neglected building in their backyard, this structure became the ultimate kids hangout. Designed for autonomous living with space for sleeping, living, studying, and washing. No space for cooking however, as they wanted to make sure they at least saw their kid at meal time!
