Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is a widely popular teen actress, thanks to her brilliant performance in the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series based on the hit series of books by author J.K. Rowling that won her huge recognition and, of course, fame comes behind. Em, who was named after her paternal grandmother, who after marriage became "Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson," once moved to rance and lived there for 5 years, before moving back to England where she has lived ever since. Born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England on April 15, 1990, she had to face a bitter reality when her parents, Jacqueline and Chris Watson, who are lawyers, split. She then lived with her lovely mother and three years younger brother named Alex. As she enjoyed her time studying at Dragon School, a renowned British preparatory school located in Oxford, England, she grew up becoming a smart girl who likes debating, besides an avid sports player, who enjoys playing hockey, tennis, and rounders. In addition to her much interest, she also possesses the desire and skill to act. These natural abilities have been evident since her early age, which can be judged through her highly praised performances in several school productions.

At school, little Em showed her acting enthusiasm, took the lead role in several plays, including "Arthur: The Young Years," "The Happy Prince," and "Alice in Wonderland." Besides acting, she also participated in many other school productions. It was when she turned 7 that she won the 1st prize in a school poetry recital, the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition. Thereupon, her head teacher nominated her and some other friends to audition and compete against many other girls for the role of Hermione Granger in the film "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (2001) when people from the casting office came to her Oxford primary school. Joined for fun only, Em unexpectedly did one audition to other auditions, beating other contestants, many of whom were actresses who had a lot more acting experience than herself. To her shock, she at last won the role and thus the story began.

Playing Hermione in the first film of Harry Potter series she did very well that many were impressed with her acting ability and it obviously propelled her to the line of Hollywood young famous actresses. As a result of her notable act, she was attached to reprise her role in the rest installment of the Harry Potter series, including "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (2002), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (2004), and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (2005). Her performance in those movies was well received, handed her the 2002 Saturn Award nomination for Best Performance by a Younger Actor for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and the highly prestigious AOL Award for Best Supporting Actress for "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Asked on other roles, Em simply recalled "Now that I've played the snotty, bossy, posh Hermione Granger, I'd like to play some American high school girl. I want to play something totally different. I want to play every kind of character and every point of view, but I'm probably going to be playing Hermione for a while."

Away from her on-screen life, she continues to balance her love of filming with her studies and school activities. She then enrolled Headington School where she studies Art, History and English, while also lives her life normally, makes use her spare time socializing with her friends and enjoying her hobby. By the year of 2007, she has been set to again reprise her role as Hermione Granger in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". Amid her success in "Potter" series, however, Em surprisingly revealed her uncertainty to keep staying with the franchise until its final installment, leading to heavy speculations that she would not return after "Phoenix." Thankfully, all turned out to be no more than just rumors as the charming teen in the end eagerly inked deals to continue playing Hermione in both the sixth and seventh part, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (2008) and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" (2010).

Having a high striving acting career, Emma sad to say is not quite lucky in case romance. Began dating rugby player Tom Ducker in March 2007, she dumped him by October the same year after seeing pictures of him partying with other girls. A representative of her issued a statement on that matter, saying "They just drifted apart as teenagers do. Emma is now just concentrating on her A-levels and the new film."

Renown singer and songwriter Avril Lavigne was born Avril Ramona Lavigne in Napanee, Ontario, Canada, on September 27, 1984, to Judy and John Lavigne, whom both are French-Canadians. She is the mid child in the family, in which she has an older brother, Matthew and a younger sister, Michelle. During her childhood, Avril grew up singing country music and in a church choir and taught herself to play guitar since 12-years-old. She had also started to write her own songs, which was written every time she got home and mainly talks about what happened to her that day. Later she explored more of her skills by joining many talent shows and left her hometown when she was 16 years old.

Avril finally won a competition in a radio contest that allowed her to travel to Ontario and sing with Country legend Shania Twain. Over the next couple of years she tried to make the U.S. recording industry to take notice on her music, but it wasn't until she was in New York at age 16 that she was signed to Arista records. Born on March 1, 1994, Justin Bieber started singing since he was 12 and finished the second place when participating in a local singing competition. "The other people in the competition had been taking singing lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn't taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house," he recalled.

In an effort to share his victory to family and friends who missed his performances at the competition, he and his mother opened a YouTube account and posted his video performances on the file-sharing website. "I put my singing videos from the competition on YouTube so that my friends and family could watch them," he stated. "But it turned out that other people liked them and they started subscribing to them. That's how my manager found me. He saw me on YouTube and contacted my family and now I'm signed!"
