The Buzz word in the mobike town is the new flagship from Samsung. After a year of notches, and gimkkes, finally we have an bezelless screen. The screen is one thing that differentiates the S10 from competition. Lets take a dive into the depth and breadth of what makes this phone the trend setter of 2019.

Samsung has lauched three flagship phones in addition to the 5G phone, which is not expected anytime and then there is the Galaxy Fold, which is more of a prototype than a commercial product. This devices main is perceived to put pressure on other Phone manufacturers to jump in the race for the next big thing.

The S10 comes with a 7-nanometer chip and everything that a flagship must have. What this phone the best Samsung phone has the One UI that Samsung has introduced on the software side. This makes it very easy for one-handed use. The phones have been larger and larger over the years. And it has become very difficult to reach the top right and left edges of the screen for notification and stuff.

What One UI does is that it has a beautiful title that covers the large part of the upper screen and makes it more accessible for one-handed use. When you swipe up it shrinks down and it become a good old large screen with the clean screen.

This makes the overall user experience a notch better than other similar flagship.

The one thing that still bothers is the bixy bee button. Although there has an announcement that you can remap the button to your own wish. But still as they say, the devil lies in the details, only on top of bixy bee you will be able to add the user app. Such as
1) Single click - Google Assistant
2) Double click - BixyB

Coming to the camera section, as usual we have one of the best setup in the smartphone space. The Triple camera setup delivers some excellent photos, but the pixel from last, according to me still beats the S10 by a small margine with its single camera.

Next comes the front facing camera, this is what makes the S10 unique from other phones that use various approaches for the camera piece, ear piece and front speakers.

Well the notch has its own advantage, like in the pixel for its stero speakers but with a gigantic notch, or the tear drop notch like the OnePlus 6T. The S10 has gone for a laser cut punch hole camera in the screen that makes it less obtrusive for the eyes. This where there a trade.

In the S10 and S10 E there is a single front facing camera, which almost belends into the screen and this is especially true when we are seeing videos and playing games, but we have to compromise on the selfie quality. Its exactly the opposite in the S10 plus, where the portrait selfies and much more vibrant and blur is clearly differentiated. The notch kind of moves to the sides tha being the middle, the notification icons are moves to the middle and it will take sometime to get used.

Bluetooth V5 what does it have and not have?

Behold the Bluetooth V5 - yup finally after long last the version 5 of the bluetooth is accepted by wireless standard's Special Interest Group......yes officially. Though it will take another 6 months to actually land on the consumer devices, here is what we can expect and what not to:

It has superior range around 4X yes you got that right 4 times the range.
2X speed for data transfer.

What not to expect:
The quality of audio transmitted over blue tooth is still not upto the mark especially when we are more poised towards a wireless headphone future(thanks to likes of Apple). The update on audio compression side is not expected untill 2018.

But, what we have is increase in range (now the whole of the home or small office comes inside the range) and speed will definitely give a boost to IoT, which could definitely use it.

By now everyone has gone to lengths to explain, even the tiniest detail regarding these two phones, this is to give you,a somewhat different stand point from another angle.

Nowadays, smartphone camera's play a vital role in deciding which mobile device we may opt to buy. Given the high-end camera specs of both cameras, they will get the job done on any given day. Unless you are really a photo-manic, for a normal user who clicks a few selfies and panorama on trips and some wide angle shots here and there, both will do just fine.

One of the main things that would i consider is lifespan of these phones, given that i am going to spend considerable amount of money, if you are opting to buy either of these phones, longevity is one of major concerns for me.

Given the recent history of hardware attempts by Google, i would say they are building a very bad hardware brand, not before long their nexus line devices promised to be best stock android experience, now they have ditched it out of the blue, on the other hand Pixel might the turning point in google's hardware business.

Apple on the other hand have been known to keep their hardware, very much in-line in compare and contrast to google, because they very great control to manipulate both hardware and software at will, it comes in a much better package, compared to google.But google is catching up FAST.

Next comes personal assistant on both phones, Even a normal personal could find meaningful difference in the response given by siri and Assistant(previously called Google Now), Assistant has matured ways better than Siri, primarily given the amount of queries processed by both the systems. Certainly google is the leader when it comes to answering questions. No matter how smart your AI is, the amount of data you have to train that AI certainly speaks a volume about its performance in the real world.

These personal assistants may have much greater role to play in enhancing your whole smartphone experience. And definitely google has the Edge.

When the first Iphone was launched Steve Jobs said that the Iphone was 5 years ahead of its competitors, well it has been 5 years and competitors have caught we must say, given amount of development that has happened over the recent past.

When it comes to final verdict, the new iphone is nothing but just a upgrade from the older one with more processing power, better camera(iphone 7 plus only), better screen and better look. Something that we expect with each Iphone, the WOW factor that has allured users to stay with Apple, is just not found in this phone, when it comes to hardcore facts, the usability, Pixel has the edge.

Iphone may be the old magestic King, but the Pixel is the rising young Prince that over throw the Crown. If Apple doesn't make the miracle with the launch of the next iphone then, it will very well be the path down hill. Already the iphone sale are dipping first time ever in the history of Apple.

As far as the present state of affairs is concerned, Google Pixel is the winner.

Up until now there have two flash sales, which turned out much to the discontent of the customers. After the march 16 flash sales on the amazon website, I personally found more than a 1000 reviews of angry customers who were patiently waiting to buy the 3 GB variant of the smart phone, unfortunately there have been a lot of controversies that surround the flash sale, many of the customers were unable to buy the because all the products were sold out in a flash.may be that's why its called a flash sale.

The sale was very much to the huge disappoint of the customers. From the reviews I came to know that many of them have actually booked LeTv 1s, which is also kind of similar.

Don’t why xamio has pulled an act like this? In a hyper growth market like India having this kind of reputation doesn’t look for the future for both xamio and amazon. The smartphone segment is being more and more crowded with new manufactures every day, at a time like this is just unacceptable.

On a personal opinion, Freedom 251, which we are about to find its originality, flash sale where I was disappointed like the 100’s of others, are customers being fooled in a strategically planned way? In this modern era, where people have access to information like never before, even then we are not able to find the truth behind such flamboyant rumours….

I think most of the commoners are not able to arrive at the conclusion, not just me….

Is this the fault of the customer for not knowing all the facts or is it the fault of the seller who plans to reap benefits of ignorant customers?

Most of us think that c language doesn't support polymorphism. But actually it does, think i am wrong, actually i can prove it to you..

Consider a normal printf statement, it looks something like :

printf("hai");

It also accepts another type of arguments:

printf("%d",&a); //assume a is an integer variable.

Now printf is an in-build function, it accepts two different type of arguments. In the first example it accepts a string variable , in the second one it accepts an integer variable, moreover it accepts different number of arguments, this points to the concept of function overloading which is a branch of polymorphism.

C even supports operator overloading:

& symbol-- the address operator as most of us know..but it can also be noted as a bit and operator
too. Hence a single operator can be used for multiple purposes,

There is another operator that is used for two operations.

* one is used as a pointer.
* arithmetic multiplication operator.

Most of us don't look deeply into these facts, C also supports functional and operator overloading, but it is limited to the system built-in functions,
Now in C++ these capabilities are extended to the user defined functions, and thus the concept of polymorphism emerges.

Here After no more captchas!! - Another step towards Futuristic User Experience..

Google claims that it can identify a robot with just one click. Captches-squiggled text that are used to find spambots. Although it is an effective way to recognize automated bots, it greatly reduces the user experience. To overcome these challenges, Google has designed a Turing Test that can spot a bot requiring it to do very much simple like a “click on a check box”
So how does a click of a check box…..can tell google whether you are a human or a robot?.

Google says that the user leave a lot of clues by their way of interaction with the webpage, which reveal that they are actually human, such as the movement of the cursor before a single click,IP address, cookies,etc.. This new method is called “reCaptcha”.
Google has tested this reCaptcha in its various services such as wordpress and Humble Bundle(Game sale site), it had an accuracy of 60% in wordpress and 80% in Humble Bundle. As a backup plan if the reCaptcha fails, suppose if there are not enough clues then it automatically returns to the old captcha.
This isn’t still available for smartphones and tablets, instead it will show a collection of eight images and ask the user to find the cat, dogs, leaves etc. For desktop users it is based on the single click.

Google has been rigorously testing it’s bot detection system for the last year or so, and in last October it revealed that it has integrated an automated bot-detection into its captchas to weed out “click fraud”.
This latest evolution may go too far for some. Privacy-conscious users won’t appreciate the reminder that Google can learn—or already knows—so much about them based only on simple clues they reveal in their online actions.But Google points out that it tracks the cursor movements only over the captcha widget and not the whole page. However the question remains…??

Facebook acquired WhatsApp(World's most popular messaging Service) for whooping $19 billion just a few days back, which is the largest ventured-backed acquisition in the history. This comes rather, as not a big surprise given the fact that Whats App has surpassed the Facebook's instant messaging service Facebook Messenger, in the developing economies such Brazil,South Africa,Indonesia and China.

Currently Facebook has around 1 billion users and it hopes to gain another 1 billion users through its Global Expansion policy,acquiring Whats App was just the first step in its plans.
Facebook wanted to buy a true messaging app to complement Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp was the obvious choice thanks to the simple utility and skyrocketing global popularity.
“Messenger evolved from Facebook chat which was more instant messaging, not SMS ... a lot of messages aren't real-time. Whats App evolved from the model of replacing SMS,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on a conference call on Wednesday afternoon. “Those are two pretty big and different use cases and the world needs both.”

E-paper technology is designed in such a way to mimic the appearance of ordinary paper. E-paper consists of thin electronic display, unlike ordinary display it reflects sunlight that gives the readers a much more legible text to read.

Electrophoretic display:

E-paper technology consists E-ink suspened between two transparent electrode layers.

E-ink capsules are made of titanium oxide which are optically reflecting, when voltage is applied some particles move to viewing side of the paper thus causing the reflection of light it appears white

If the particles move to the rear side of the display dark colored moves up front and hence it appears black,thus alternating the voltage a pixel is formed and hence the image.

Further different types of colors can be obtained by placing suitable color filters color filters above the spheres

Electrowetting:

Electrowetting displays consists of water and oil interface, when no voltage is applied oil is above water the hence the display appears black.

when voltage is applied the surface tension is disturbed an hence they are no longer in equilibrium, this cause the display to appear colored, it also has added feature the change is color is so fast, it is possible to display video contents.

Electrofluidic:

This is one type of electrowetting display in which there is a reservoir of aqueous pigments that come out behind the viewing part when voltage is applied and the display absorbs them and appears colored, bright corresponding to applied voltage.

when the voltage is removed the surface tension causes the pigments to recoil into the reservoir.

This technology may actually change the way in which our future generations read, mainly it puts an end to deforestation which is simply unthinkable

Getting bored with slow internet access!! your linking speed may be high but your browser must be customised in such a way that it is able to utilise the full linking speed. just follow this simple steps to change the settings of your browser and experience the change:
1. open your firefox browser, in the address bar type "about:config".
you might see a warning like this because you are attempting to change an advanced setting give ok.

after giving enter you will see a window similar to this

2.In the filter tab type"network".

after going halfway down you will find "network.http.pipeline." change this value to true and the next value from 4 to 10.

Every day we use Google search.Its iconic logo is one of the main reason for its success, but little do we know about it.These are some of the facts that i find some of the real facts behind the google logo.

Present Google's logo was designed by Ruth kedar.

Did u notice that on special days of the year the google logo changes from its normal design and unique images appear these are called doodles.

There is a separate team in Google to design these logo's.Even with its own chief designer,Denni Hwang.

Do u know that google conducts competition to design there logo,everyone from kinder-garden to 12 can participate and create their own design for google, then the winner of the competition will win a free trip to the Googlpex(corporate headquarters).

This was first introduced in England but now it has expanded to several countries including United States,Singapore,Ireland and even in India it was held in 2009 for the first time, and the winning doodle was displayed on the Google india homepage.

Even the favicon changes from time to time.until 2008 it was a blue, uppercase "G" on white background.

Six simple steps to make a rainbow rose:

STEP 1: Cut a perfect white rose from your garden with 8-9inches stem or buy such.

STEP 2:Do not choose both blue and indigo but replace one with violet. In the same way do not choose both orange and red. Try these combinations. RED-BLUE-GREEN-YELLOW, VIOLET-RED-BLUE-YELLOW or YELLOW-PURPLE-GREY-BLUE.

STEP 3: Collect four cups or glasses filled with water. Add color to the water and steer well. Add drops of color until the water becomes totally opaque. Four cups will contain four different color solutions.

STEP 4: Split the end part of the severed stem. Use a knife or sharp blade to cut lengthwise up to 6 inches.

STEP 5: The four ends of the split stem is now should be dipped into four color cups. It should stand erect. Otherwise give support to it.

STEP 6: Wait for 24 hours and see the magic. Look at the transformation of your simple white rose! Now take it out. After that bind the split ends using adhesive tapes.

Points to be Noted Take care of these to not to end in failure!

Do not choose a red or pink rose to color.

Colors should be water soluble Colors should be blended very well with the water. Mix it well.

The process of splitting should be done carefully.

Watch out for your fingers.

1. Create six HTML pages and name them frame1.html, frame2.html, frame3.html, frame4.html, frame5.html and frame6.html. Add your own text to the pages.

2. Then within the web page that will be linking to the slideshow (index.html for example), create a link that states something like this: View Our Slideshow (note that this hyperlink is linked to frame1.html)

3. Open frame1.html and add the following meta tag code below between the head tags. Note that the URL we specified is directing the refresh to page2.html after 12 seconds: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="12;url=frame2.html">

4. Then open frame2.html and add the same code in the same location taking care to edit the refresh to frame3.html. Do this on each of the six pages you created in step 1. In frame6.html (or the last page) you can have the slideshow refresh redirect your visitor to another page on your site by simply editing the page name in the http-equiv code of step 3.

5. You can edit the 12 seconds to whatever you wish and you can create as many HTML pages with refresh redirectors too. Just remember to edit the page name where you want the page to take your visitors next.
