I seen the commercials on the tv about mesothelioma and lawyers and lawsuits. What is it about? Here it is:

mesothelioma mes·o·the·li·o·ma

A rare neoplasm derived from the lining cells of the pleura and peritoneum and growing as a thick sheet composed of spindle cells or fibrous tissue covering the viscera.

Mesothelioma is rare cancer that is caused by asbestos. Asbestos is a constuction material used in the early 1900's and analogous to lead in paint prior to 1970s. Lawsuits has led to decline in lead based paint as well asbestos use in buildings and homes.

The sign and symptoms of mesothelioma are difficulty breathing, pain in the chest, pneumonia-like fluids in the lungs.and fluids in coughs. Other problems with mesothelioma is tumors spreading to other body areas, blood clots or internal bleeding.

Unfortunately,the symptoms of mesothelioma may take twenty or more to develop and by then the damage may severe.

What kind of Holiday can we expect?

I don't see stockings stuffed with Gucci or Prada brands anytime soon. I have checked around town for some work to provide some extra funds for the holiday season and not surprisingly, there was not much enthusiasm in the atomsphere. The newspaper section for employment opportunies is nonexistence. The stores were mainly fulled with sarce,reluctant shopper. I too am in that class, the X-box and now lower priced Nintendo Wii seems so much less entertaining when more serious responsibilites contantly loom around.

I am not a total Scrooge( even if I am going to the movies lss this season).

A friend reminded that the intangibles are most impotant:health, peace, positive thinking. I don't believe that is absolutely false or absolutely true. So, I could only half-heartedly agree. Those that don't care always get the pleasure of indulgence, while the good gets the pain and burden of maturity.

I want to say thank to God for all unacknowledged good that He provides despite my complaints and bitterness; also for the random acts of kindness and benevolence that lifts the spirit. My thanks to unnamed mother raising her child, the finest officer, bravest firefighter, the smartest teacher, the humble public servant, the dedicated soldier,the holy clergy, the devoted spouse, the unappreciated boss, the anonymous philanthropist, the stubborn who changes, the lazy who initiates, the prejudice who decides after the facts, the unasked helper, the supporting cast, the role model, the best friend, and to you who deserses a thank you.

Is online advertising as good or better than the traditional newspaper ad or tv commercial? Most traffic exchange are like the swapping business card approach. Give out as many business cards as you can throughout interacts and dealings with others. Sooner or later, that person may use your product, service or idea; or may know someone who may need it.

A Good Job?

Is there any such thing as a good job in this economy ? Anything that pays the bills-Definitely Not Anymore. As the economy gets worse(recession-unavoidable), the demands on employees in this job market gets more often and more extreme. Money can not be the answer. So along with the compensation aspect, a good job or any job is defined by the character of the ominous boss in charge and the terrain of the work environment.
Let's face it. The work gots to be done. And somebody gots make sure that it is done. What type of person should that be? Being a boss means that you will be dealing with people and lots of them-whether workers, customers or competitors and critics. Flexible and adjustible is a must. Accidents or mishaps don't happen on a schedule (or at least they are not suppose to). People get sick, items get lost, and things get forgotten. It happens.
Next, don't forget the environment that you are in-a work environment. You are there to do something for someone else. It does not make sense that by subtracting you will get an addition or by giving away you will have more. Futhermore, it would not make sense that by spending your time, energy, etc for someone else, you are somehow helping yourself. It's reasonable if it is important to you or a part of your life.
Like me, eating should be important to you too. Food ,shelter ,transportation, health and any other need cost money. A person must live somehere. Most likely a house with a mortgage and maybe a second mortgage looming in the future. With a not so new car parked in the garage tied to high car insurance. Now if your car insurance is high, what is it like for a person's health insurance. A hopeless cycle. Nevertheless, when needs are not met:don't sleep, don't eat, then you shut down. No work gets done.

A Good Job = a realistic boss+ prudent tasks+ supportive compensation
