Adobe Photoshop CS5, the latest version that's sold both individually and as part of Adobe Creative Suite 5, falls between those two extremes ($699 for Standard stand-alone, $1299 for Creative Suite 5 Design Standard; upgrade pricing available).We reviewed a beta.

Photoshop is a mature program that is already an indispensable component of everyday business for photographers and graphics professionals. What sets Photoshop CS5 apart isn't any one killer app but dozens of refinements that will make users' lives easier, more efficient, and, potentially, more creative.
Interface: Everything Is Where It Should Be... Plus More

Photoshop CS5's interface remains comfortably familiar, though slightly changed--and more efficient to use. For instance, the revamped Workspace switcher is no longer buried in the Window drop-down menu. Instead, it is always immediately available at the top of the screen to the right of the Ribbon Bar. What's more, if you make changes to any Workspace (such as Photography) and then switch to another (such as Painting), when you return to Photography, those changes will be retained.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Mini-Bridge optionsThe most significant workflow improvement to the interface is the introduction of Mini-Bridge. Essentially, it's a palette (or panel) within Photoshop that's really a window onto Bridge, allowing full access to all your image files without having to leave Photoshop. As with the full Bridge, you can choose different display options, depending upon what information you need or want: Thumbnails, As Filmstrip, Details, or List. And as before, if you need the full functionality of Bridge, just click on the BR icon, either within the Mini-Bridge palette or at the top of the screen.

The other noticeable (albeit trivial) change to the interface is that the appearance of many of the toolbox icons is different. While the shapes remain the same (for instance, the Clone tool icon is still a rubber stamp), they're redrawn.
Advances in Camera RAW

One of Photoshop CS5's most important changes is in the new noise reduction algorithms in Camera RAW 6. It now has sliders for both Luminance and Color Noise. However, it wasn't fully implemented in the beta version we tested, so our judgment has to be based on demonstrations by Adobe, which made it look quite good.

If your creative instincts lean toward filmlike texturing, the new FX tab in Camera RAW will add grain or vignetting.

By the way, Camera RAW 6 and Lightroom 3 are now better coordinated, since they both use the same RAW conversion. This means that you'll no longer have conflicts and be forced to choose between the two. Camera Raw 6 will not be available for anyone who is using earlier Creative Suite software than CS5.Fun Creativity

Let's face it: Photoshop is more than just a workaday tool, it's a platform for pushing your creativity as far as you can. And CS5's latest add-ons for creativity make playing with your pictures even more of an adventure.

Adobe has boosted Photoshop's Paint Brushes (including the Clone tool) in customizability and responsiveness--especially with control over Bristles--bringing them a bit closer to the painterly functionality of Corel Painter. The new Mixer Brush interacts with the colors on the picture. You can choose to work with (virtual) wet or dry paints, and wet or dry canvas, and you can set whether (and how much) the brush loads (picks up) color from the canvas, and when the brush should remain clean (with no loading or removing of paint that was loaded).

Control over Bristle number, size, thickness, stiffness, and behavior provides a good variety of styling. While it takes practice to master color and paint loading, you may find this feature somewhat addictive to experiment with. Photoshop remains tightly integrated with Wacom tablets, so that it supports pressure sensitivity when painting with the Bristle and other brushes.

The new Puppet Warp is an entirely different kind of creative tool. It allows you to place control points on your image, as though you were tying puppet strings to it. Then you can push and pull the shape as you wish. It works best when the background doesn't get caught into the "strings." As such, before proceeding you'll need to select the object you want to reshape and paste it into its own layer.
High Dynamic Range

Responding to the growing interest in high dynamic range (HDR) images, and to the fact that some of the better photo printers are now able to output their heightened tonality, Photoshop CS5 offers features called HDR-Pro and HDR Toning.

While CS4 had HDR capabilities, CS5's HDR-Pro offers enhanced options and new algorithms. The various controls--such as a Curve tool and sliders for adjusting Vibrance, Saturation, Exposure, Detail, and more--provide more precise, highly creative control over the dynamics, so you can create very personalized results, from the subtle to the dramatic. The auto deghosting works well at removing artifacts caused by slight differences among the merged photos, such as a tree branch that might have rustled. You can choose which of your original images is to be used as the defining reference to resolve visual conflicts, such as a cloud that might have changed shape between frames. Find a style that you'll want to use again? You can save the settings as a custom preset.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 HDR ToningOne of the problems with HDR is that it requires that you have a series of nearly identical photos, taken at various exposures. The new HDR Toning in CS5 allows you to emulate HDR, using a single image. The controls are quite similar to HDR-Pro, and the tool provides a high degree of creative potential. Unfortunately, though HDR Toning is an Adjustment, it isn't part of the Adjustment Layer architecture; the effect works only on a single-layer image and will merge down into the original image.

HP Printer Reviews

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 100px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCyd1QTs9L6w1MNtgImCvnip661Rv4DFJBzZ4q0wRXHFXkWACsrTR_SF-b6dHbUar7o9Q4IJO7w6poTNTQafYuHZnKWuRbPHUCfSSBq5CMUoqswjFHit1eGah1gdEwIoE2VrNAcsPEfgh/s320/hp_printers.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5460035701612438434" />
HP printer reviews shows that HP are highly excellent products. They have models with networking capabilities, special ink systems, and Epson software for user-friendly usage of the products.

And since Epson is a trusted name in the business, they can offer whatever features you are looking for. Designed closely after its higher-class brother, the 1005PE, the 1001P offers many of the same features, minus the Chiclet-style keyboard, larger battery, and larger hard drive. In this review, we see how the 1001P stacks up against other netbooks and if it holds a candle to the more expensive 1005PE.
ASUS Eee PC 1001P SeaShell Specifications:

* Windows 7 Starter Edition (32-bit)
* 10.1-inch diagonal WSVGA (1024 x 600, matte finish)
* Intel Atom N450 Processor 1.66GHz (667MHz FSB, 512KB Cache)
* 1GB DDR2 SDRAM (800MHz)
* Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics
* 160GB Seagate 5400.6 SATA HD
* Atheros AR2427 BGN Wi-Fi, Atheros AR8132 10/100 LAN
* 4-in-1 media card slot
* Dimensions: (H x W x D): 0.89-1.40 x 10.2 x 6.9 inches
* 2.81 pounds (not including weight of AC adapter)
* 6-cell lithium-ion battery (4400mAh, 48Wh)
* One-year standard warranty
* MSRP: $299.99
Observant readers might notice that this review is similar to the Eee PC 1005PE's review. This is because the 1001P shares many of the same components with its predecessor.

Build and Design
The Eee PC 1001P is a lower-cost version of the 1005PE Seashell and features a similar clamshell chassis but offers different lid designs. Our 1001P model comes with a textured weave pattern imprinted on the screen cover. The 1001P lacks some of the 1005PE's glossy flair, and its stylish island keyboard, but overall still retains a simple yet modern look.At the top of the 1001P, it's easy to see the "SeaShell" heritage, and thankfully it manages to retain some solid build quality for a budget netbook. The matte black plastic isn't prone to flex and the keyboard is very firm, two things you usually don't see on budget notebooks. The various parts of the chassis come together with tight build tolerance, like a higher-priced laptop. This isn't the most rugged netbook we've ever seen, but ASUS gave the 1001P a pretty solid build for $299. A nice improvement on the netbook compared to the last Seashell is the return of an easy-access RAM cover. If you want to upgrade the RAM in your 1001P, just remove one screw on the access panel on the bottom of the netbook. I would have also liked to see an easy-access panel for the hard drive, but most netbook buyers aren't going to mess with the hard drive
Screen and Speakers
The Eee PC 1001P uses a fairly standard LED-backlit display panel with a 1024 x 600 native resolution. Unlike the 1005PE, the 1001P offers a matte-finish display which isn't prone to glare or added reflections from brightly lit rooms. Even with its matte finish, the display offers excellent color saturation and contrast. The screen resolution is small at 1024 x 600, though I prefer a resolution of 1366 x 768. Obviously this might not be cost effective on a netbook priced under $300 but I can dream, right? Vertical viewing angles are average, with minimal color distortion when viewing from below and some overexposed colors when viewed from above. Horizontal viewing angles are better with colors staying accurate at extremely wide viewing angles with a little color wash out.
A slightly annoying feature we noticed on the 1001P is related to the low-end Starter edition of Windows 7. Microsoft locks the desktop background to a specific OEM image and prevents the user from changing it through the control panel. ASUS circumvents the problem with a utility in its docking bar that lets you change the background to another selected image.

The Eee PC 1001P's built-in speaker performance is pretty good for a 10-inch netbook. I'm not a fan of speakers' location on the bottom front edge of the 1001P, but the audio quality is better than what we typically hear from netbook speakers. The speakers produce good volume (enough to fill a small room) and there is minimal distortion even at higher volume levels. The speakers lack much bass, but the range of highs and midtones are fine. Still, the audio output from the headphone jack is free of obvious distortion and is better when paired with earphones or a good set of external speakers.

Asus 1001p keyboard
Keyboard and Touchpad
The 1001P has a comfortable keyboard and is easy to type on. ASUS returned to a standard keyboard design like the 1005HA's, instead of a Chiclet-style keyboard on the 1005PE. The keys are slightly smaller than what you find on a full-size notebook, but once you adjust your typing strokes, it isn't much of a problem. I am not sure I would recommend using the keyboard on a daily basis as your primary input method, but for traveling or completing work in the classroom, it's just fine.
The Synaptics touchpad used on the 1001P is likewise identical to the gesture-enabled model on the 1005PE. It allows you to use multi-figure gestures such as "pinching" your fingers together or "pulling" your fingers apart to zoom in or out. You can also use a "three-finger tap" as an alternative to a right click on a mouse. The Synaptics control panel in Windows also allows you to customize the gestures. The touchpad surface is covered in dots that provide a clear indication of the edges of the touchpad, but it also makes the touchpad surface too rough for quick finger movement. The left and right touchpad buttons are located beneath a single rocker-style button, but there's no separation between the left and right side, so it's easy to accidentally press the middle of the touchpad button. The touchpad buttons have extremely shallow feedback, so it's sometimes hard to feel whether or not you're pressing a button.

The 1001P lacks a dedicated wireless on/off switch, but ASUS did include FN keyboard shortcuts for wireless, screen brightness, video output, volume, and Windows task manager.

Input and Output Ports
The 1001P offers the same port selection as the 1005PE. Namely, you get three USB 2.0 ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, headphone and microphone jacks, Ethernet port, and the return of a standard VGA out port. The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 has gotten a few new ones recently. Beyond the new 6-cell battery upgrade (over the standard 3-cell), and the new 28WHr 3-cell upgrade (over the 24WHr 3-cell), you can now order your Mini 10 netbooks with a specialized Ubuntu OS and a solid state drive.

Prices start at $399 for this flavor, with upgrades to a 32GB SSD and even 64GB SSD available for a few bucks. It's noteworthy that the XP variety of the Mini 10 does not have these same options, so if you want SSD flexibility you need to order Ubuntu.

There was already the option to upgrade to a spiffy 1366x768 HD display if you so chose. So now you can upgrade your resolution, battery life, OS and HDD in a variety of ways. Here a trick that can help speed up your current modem without shelling out the big bucks.

There is a setting located in your windows registry called the Maximum Transfer Unit (MTU). This determines the size of the packets of data sent between your and your server. In Windows 95, this setting is has a value of 1,500 bytes when the actual size of internet packets is 1,000 bytes. This can sometimes slow things down. To remedy the situation, simply follow these steps:
In the registry editor (Start > Run > regedit.exe), navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\NetTrans.

In the NetTrans folder you should find another folder named "000x" in which x represents a fourth digit. Right-click on the "000x" folder and select New and StringValue. Rename the item that appears in the panel on the right side to MaxMTU, then double-click it to bring up the Edit String box and give it a velue of 1002.

Remember to keep playing with the MaxMTU value until you feel that your internet connection has greatly sped up. Some people report huge speed gains using this tricks, while others hardly notice a difference. In any case, it's definetly worth a try.

Trick To Make Your Firefox Fast

This Firefox tricks will improve the speed & load time of firefox. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.

2. Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.

3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).

4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM

5. Empty the recycle bin regularly. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.

6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.

7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.

8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.

9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.

10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.

RAM IS THE WORKING AREA (DESKTOP) OF THE CPU, KEEP IT AS EMPTY AND UNCLUTTERED AS POSSIBLE!

Clean And Optimize Your New Computer

When you buy a new computer it is often loaded with extra software that you just don’t need. OEMs are paid by software companies to bundle trial versions in hopes that you will buy the full product. The preloaded junk is a waste of disk space, memory and can even hurt the performance of your new computer so it is a good idea to remove it all.

While it is possible to manually remove each extra piece of software on your computer there is a great free tool called PC Decrapifier that will automate the process.

To get started download the latest copy of PC Decrapifier.

After the software is downloaded on your computer just run the executable. There is no installer for this software.

Click Next on the Welcome, license and Warning screens. With Valve's Steam digital games service coming to Apple's operating system later this year, what do the latest additions to the MacBook Pro series mean for gaming on Macs?

For it's most cost-effective model, the 13-inch variation, the company has maintained the Intel Core 2 Duo processor but added a new NVIDIA chipset made specifically for Apple; the GeForce GT 320M. Since this new chip is exclusive to the latest wave of MacBook Pros, there's no way of telling how it performs with games until proper benchmarks can be performed. Official word from Apple states that the GT 320M includes 48 processing cores, which allows it to run games up to 1.8 times faster than the previous chipset, the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 162px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho906rP-Cf2rtFw5UHJv8_AOo9SryN08J5YZWhVXYSx6oDm_fsGgZ7imet74zYEGZTbXYopkaKfpVZ150SQukyNv6jcDOG65-Gkv_a8gH0qXjNtOPENFRARWGa75rHsyNK-50vK-H9b1ZN/s320/macbookgaming_01_1271200459.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5460030918075414242" />
To put things into perspective, the 9400M was capable of running Call of Duty 4 at reasonable specs at an average rate of 30 frames-per-second. While certainly an impressive 3D high-definition effort, Call of Duty 4 is three years old, and many current titles may not perform as well.

While the new GT 320M has yet to be stress tested, the NVIDIA hardware being used in the new 15-inch and 17-inch models, the GeForce GT 330M, has been tested in gaming applications on other Windows-based machines, which could be an indicator of how it could perform on a Windows partition via the MacBook Pro's Boot Camp software.

Previous tests of the GT 330M show solid performance on older titles like Crysis, Left 4 Dead, and GRID, but lackluster results in more recent, more demanding games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Obviously there are factors to consider other than the GT 330M alone, such as CPU speeds, memory, operating system, etc., but it does give us a sense of what to expect from Apple's latest laptops.

Specs wise, the GT 330M includes:

* 48 CUDA Processing Cores
* Clock Speeds ofup to 1265MHz
* Memory Clocks of 1066MHz DDR3/800MHz GDDR3
* OpenGL 2.1 Support
* DirectX 10.1 Support
* Windows 7 Support
* Digital Output resolutions of 2560x1600
* VGAOutput resolutions of 2048x1536

Although it's clear they won't match up with other gaming-centric machines, we're curious to see just how well the new MacBook Pros will perform in gaming applications with the bump in graphics processing, as well as the new Intel i5 and i7 processors

Dell Studio XPS 13 Laptop

Dell’s new Dell XPS 13 laptop is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 with 3-MB L2 Cache, 1066 MHz FSB packed on NVIDIA MCP79MX Chipset Motherboard, offering 4-GB DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM (max 4-GB in 2 slots), a 320-GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive and a 8X DVD Super Multi Double layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 312px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBoIH2pXcR00EYDc8q3gIkAlPfEZE7hoNFFWdL2y9eDbV8nscGiNDXwilI8VbHTzon-GKQafgShb6K6HRqVSrSPDZXDN_plsb4ANEjhOH_HNgIFpta7VLOgofvh6l0v8lm_HyYWJmYL0iv/s320/dell-studio-xps-13-laptop.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459486492814550242" />
The Dell Studio XPS 13 is designed with a unique look, having its rounded hinges supporting the display and angled shape and tapered chassis only 1.6-inches thick along the back edge. A new cooperative passenger mode means that when your online buddy gets in to gawp at your new velvet dashboard, they won’t have to leave when you start the ignition. Off-road treasure hunts, high-stakes clan battles or heaven forbid an actual test drive: whatever it is, they can spend it all in your peripheral vision.

The original TDU left us at a junction. On its left: a road to realism, where Crysis-style visuals could meet a narrower, more conventional racer. On its right: MMO country, where behind the humble looks lives a world of opportunities. The sequel takes the latter – the right road – and look where it’s ended up: Ibiza, home to Channel 5 documentaries, Britons with no center of gravity, police with no sense of humour, and locals insisting there’s a lot more to it: which there is. There are relics of the Punic wars, wild topography and an erratic climate: all you need for a colossal open world Gumballing game.Like its predecessor, TDU2 isn’t afraid of being gaming’s answer to the Magic Eye puzzle, stressing details within details. Yes, there’s a new metallic flake layer for shader fetishists. Yes, there are stitches in the seats, leather around the stitches, and raindrops on the leather when you forget to raise the hardtop. And yes, the message is still that greed is good, and that a giant yacht with a massively multiplayer jacuzzi (the best of the game’s new homes) makes up for you looking like a porcelain zombie. But this is luxury with a hint of restraint. It doesn’t have the extreme attitude of Dirt 2.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCXNmzRgkbqy3P0Cqf1UD0ETwwY8prUCGTG7JT_x8KixX_7_81Nc7fkFJsFbOUidj-XscCGGa4sDLtxkdPG8doVrhKLv0EiRzdoU7SWtQ148E2y7Iq7OGf_D5lYbIZXDBqz73Z-94l5Isk/s320/Viper_Motion_Blur+copy--article_image.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459266632443099410" />

Test Drive Unlimited is one of the finest racers of its generation, precisely because it looks beyond the cars and whatever’s reflected in them. That means better clans in the sequel, with war chests to either gamble on tournaments, fritter on luxuries, or invest in bricks, mortar and playable trophies such as the Gumpet Apollo supercar. It means 4x4s built to climb taller mountains to find auto-wrecks, giving you further exclusives. It means persistent stats for winning, dodging and discovery.What it doesn’t necessarily mean is a handling system to everyone’s taste. No such thing exists, of course, but this build of Test Drive Unlimited 2 dwells on the accessible and cosmetic, its toylike crashes causing little harm while savaging the paintwork. The biggest question on our minds is how well this updated budget notebook performs; considering the previous revision earned our Editor's Choice award.
Lenovo Value line G550 Specifications:

* Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 (2.00GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB)
* Microsoft Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (w/ SP1)
* 15.6-inch glossy 16:9 display (1366x768)
* Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
* 3GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM
* 250GB Western Digital 5400RPM HDD
* SuperMulti DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
* Broadcom WiFi (802.11b/g), 10/100 Ethernet, Modem
* 6-Cell 11.1V 48WHr Battery
* Limited 1-year standard parts and labor warranty
* Dimensions: LxWxH, 14.9 x 9.6 x 1.4"
* Weight: 5lbs 9.0oz
* Price as configured: $549
Build and Design
The design of the G550 has changed slightly from the G530, switching from a smooth matte exterior finish, to a black weave pattern. The new cover is every bit as strong as the last one, preventing any screen distortion even if you hit or flex the back of the screen. The interior of the notebook shares the same color as the lid, but is textured with a rougher matte finish similar to what you would find on unpainted sections of a ThinkPad. Lenovo took the back-to-basics route with the color scheme on this notebook, making it entirely black inside and out.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 250px; height: 250px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPcRVIlFPWpXf6ru6gzxd_C-DREccADrGBhXqse_EUCKcdGm3Q1exihCcVK7WqtSIlUjfR38iBQDzyaGwoIwrBcPYrBOuTKfqap4QoZCcaPZvkhfoJdzPPAlCPjYbZsyphgUEim39oV2_n/s320/45811.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5458770028025662114" />
The chassis is constructed entirely of plastic, but where most budget notebooks might feel flexible or flimsy, the G550 feels like a solid block of sturdy material. When talking about the palm rest on most notebooks, including ThinkPads, notebooks with good support still show some flex under a very strong grip. Somehow squeezing the palm rests on the G550 feels like you are trying to squeeze a rock. Other areas of the notebook share the same toughness, including the keyboard and surrounding trim.

To upgrade components the G550 has easy access panels to the memory and CPU, wireless card, and hard drive on the bottom of the notebook. No components, including the processor, had "warranty void if removed" stickers, making it very easy to handle upgrades or repairs in the future.
Screen and Speakers
The 15.6" LCD is average compared to most 15-16" notebooks, with bright and vibrant colors and decent viewing angles. The G550's big change is the transition away from the 16:10 screen size to the wider (but shorter) 16:9 panels. The screen offers a glossy surface, which helps improve colors and contrast at the cost of added reflections and glare. Compared to "frameless" displays the reflections were tolerable as long as you were not outside under direct sunlight. Screen brightness was adequate for viewing in bright office conditions, but might not cut it outside unless it is an overcast day. Vertical viewing angles were adequate with a broad viewing sweet spot measuring 30 degrees forward or back before colors started to wash out or invert. Horizontal view angles were much better, showing minimal color distortion at steep angles.The speakers are located on the front edge of the palmrest and sound more than adequate for playing music or watching streaming video. Sound quality isn't the best compared to other notebooks of this size with a tinny sound that lacks bass. Headphones would be a good accessory for this notebook.

Keyboard and Touchpad
The keyboard is easy to type on, sharing the same comfortable and durable feel as my ThinkPad T60 keyboard and only differing in layout. Individual key action is smooth with no audible click when pressed. The keys are textured with a smooth matte finish, giving decent traction for typing ... unlike the glossy keyboards we are seeing on a greater number of notebooks these days. Keyboard support is excellent, barely a hint of flex on the main section of the keyboard. The newer 16:9 chassis on the G550 allowed Lenovo to add a numberpad to the keyboard, but they didn't change the support under that side of the keyboard frame. It doesn't appear to have much flex, but it has just enough to make a squeaking sound against the optical drive when press down. Media-related keys are limited to touch-sensitive mute and volume up/down buttons located above the keyboard.Lenovo transitioned to a new touchpad on the G550, switching from the Synaptics model on the G530 to an ALPS pad. The ALPS pad doesn't have as quick of a refresh rate, so at times it feels like the pointer is lagging behind your finger. Another problem is the surface isn't as sensitive for users who like to use tap to click and tap to drag frequently. On the Synaptics pad it is easy to drag and lift off, while the ALPS models seem to need a strong tap at the end, otherwise it won't let go of the selected item and you keep dragging it around the screen. The touchpad buttons are similar to the old ones, with shallow feedback and giving off a positive "click" when pressed.

Ports and Features
Although the G550 is now larger than the G530, Lenovo still managed to decrease the amount of ports available. The ExpressCard slot is missing, USB ports are down from four to three, and the modem jack is gone. I can see no other reason besides cutting costs for such a loss of features.

Radiopaq Sound Jacket for 4G iPod Nano

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 217px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxY4zCo98pSR2i647vvrkdAnMnu11zlXYL_SYgIjGwX1yF3RvoUtqb8xjRIIe_ndTvBBUasWMm5Sblc7YI7IDOksv7_pph9eJOyRvSUZm-5Zw3a9CIZoH6GP5qPNf7kqMoom5P4CbOU2GF/s320/radiopaq-sound-jacket.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403817289803047842" />
Radiopaq, company known for internet audio search and manufacturer of various digital products have come with Sound Jacket for iPod Nano 4th Gen using the Intelligent Audio technology in order to improve the Quality of the MP3 music for about 60% what it is today.

Radiopaq comes up with two products Sound Jacket and Sound Mix, thereby improving the performance of the iPod Nano.
