The previous report stated the re-entry point to be some 1250km from a location called “Wellington Island” at 17:45 UT, with debris coming down over the southern Pacific. The Wellington Island in question is in Chile, South America. A second report from Russia wrongly located it in Brazil. The exact decay location is not yet know, but a clarification of the likely location can be found here. --
