GG Pod System!

For any that don't know Imeo has been his usual busy self and has designed a new pod system. I think I'm right in saying that it is still in development at the moment but he has posted a few images on the Golden Greek Freaks page. It would appear that the name for the new system will be Regal S.

So far I think its looking very good and could be the perfect entry model for people getting into vaping and more importantly getting into Golden Greek ecigs. The pod system market has really boomed the last few years and this is a smart move by Imeo. What remains to be seen is the actual pod system, is it refillable, rebuildable? That would be great.

No info yet as to a release date but as usual I will keep you informed.

Cybrillion V3 is here!

Imeo has recently uploaded a video to Youtube describing the operation of the new Cybrillion V3. In the video Imeo goes over how to take the device apart for cleaning, maintenance, etc. You can see the video below.

Cybrillion is a simple device and the improvements made over the old design look really good. A nice solid start to the year for Golden Greek.

Bonus News

A recent post by Imeo concerning the iAtty was made on the Golden Greek Freaks page and makes for some interesting reading. The following quote is from Imeo.

Hi guys. On Greek page a Greek friend asked me to make Iatty again but improved, to fit the today needs, so we tried together to develop a new style of Iatty. We started with the classic design and added 2 posts so iatty will work with no NR wire. Then we put the upper plastic lower, then we made lower plastic metallic, then we made the upper plastic metallic too, then we add a different ceramic, we put some engravings and the reloaded iatty was born. Soon I will make a video like the one I made for the Greeks and post it here.
We will work with preorders on this one. If you are interested for this reborn iatty, you can preorder it from the usual GG stores.

iAtty was the first rebuildable I had and it will be cool to see it get an update. Hopefully we will see the Reloaded iAtty soon. It was a pioneer in the vaping world and is worthy of a return. I will post more news as and when it comes out.

With so many variations in the way you can use the Amadeus it's good to have a guide on the ins and outs of operation. Qorax covers every small feature in detail in this nicely shot video. As well as this video Qorax has many others on GG products and other vaping devices.

GG Amadeus RDTA

You probably have noticed by now that the latest and greatest from Imeo is now available in all the GG sellers shops. I am talking of course about the new GG Amadeus, the dripper that is also a tank. It has been a long wait but it has been worth it as this is a piece worth owning. As a dripper there are numerous options available from the type of draw you want to the spacing of the coil connectors.

In dripper form you can have one or two coils that are easily placed on the Velocity styled posts. The flavour, cloud production and air flow options are all great. It takes no time at all to set up and is very easy to use. The dripper features spit back protection too if you need it. Air flow is adjusted easily thanks to the design of the top cap, sealing one or two slots depending on which option you choose. A single coil body is included in the box. Also included are four different air flow pins.

Building the coils is very easy on the deck, coils are held in place by flat head screws with a spare set included in a little bag along with the usual o rings and tools. Out of the box I think I'm right in saying a squonk pin is fitted but I changed mine out for a plain 510 pin as I have yet to dabble in squonking. Again the extra pin is included.

Finally one last trick is the ability to transform into a tank with the separately sold tank unit. It is just a matter of pulling off the dripper body and slotting the tank unit on top which takes seconds. Taking off the top cap the tank is quickly filled and ready for use. As an extra feature of the Amadeus this is genius and is something I really love.

Overall I think this is a great addition to the GG line up and one that really stands out. It's good to finally have a GG dripper after so long. Imeo has come up with something that a lot of people have waited for and a lot of people will want.

The GG Amadeus and the separate tank are on sale now from various GG sellers, the dripper costing 119 euros and the tank at 49 euros, although I notice they are sold out in a lot of places. Keep an eye on the GG forum over on ECF or on the gg-goldengreek.com site to find out when they are next available. This is one GG product you don't want to miss out on!

GG Amadeus RDA

Imeo has released a final video over on Youtube of his latest creation, GG Amadeus, the new RDA. It has been a while since he first talked about bringing an RDA out and it seems that since then he has wasted no time in developing the project. As I've mentioned before a proper RDA has always been the one thing missing from the GG line up. They are as popular as ever among vapers and don't look like going away any time soon.

The new RDA has all the features you'd expect from Imeo as you can see in the video below. Bear in mind that this is a pre-production model with a few tweaks to be made before Imeo releases it.

Features

The move-able posts are an interesting feature for different vaping styles. Also if I understand correctly this is a squonkable RDA. Imeo seems to have thought of everything with this dripper and has approached the problems in his own unique way. Supplying the RDA with different vaping options is a big plus and more than I expected but is a huge bonus for vapers. Spit back protection that does not affect the airflow is another great feature, one that is removable if you don't need it. The drip tip provided will be made of plastic, Recoil compatible and in the future Ultem drip tips will be available.

Finally the option to turn it into a tank pushes this RDA even further. Imeo has gone above and beyond in the creation of this RDA. There are a ton of features in this RDA which can only be appreciated once you've watched the video. The price point hasn't been decided yet but Imeo does mention a price of 109 euro's. I have no idea when these will be released but as soon as they are expect them to sell very well.

GG RDA not far away!

After a quiet spell on the Golden Greek Freaks fan page, Imeo has returned with a short announcement I have been waiting years for. It seems he is very close to having a completed sample of the new 'extreme' RDA he has been working on!

"guys, I am sorry that I am almost away these days but I am preparing an extreme RDA. I hope that the sample will be ready in 2 weeks and I will be happy to show it to you" - Imeo

This is great news and I can't wait to see what he has come up with. The RDA market is very competitive with a huge amount of RDA's being available. But, there is always room for one more and a GG RDA is something that has been missing in a lot of fans collections. There was of course the Oddy drip mode but that was sort of an added bonus rather than a fully fledged RDA. This new creation will be the first proper GG dripper.

From Imeo's quote above the most interesting word for me is 'extreme'. Are we going to get a cloud chaser or flavour type RDA? What about it makes it extreme? Will it come in different finishes? How much will it cost? All these questions and many more should be answered in the coming weeks. I for one can't wait to find out what Imeo has been working on.

Cybrillion Set for March Release Date

Mark down the 6th of March in your calendar as that is the release date of the new Cybrillion by Imeo. It will be available from all the usual sellers, link at the top of this page. There are already a couple of photo's and a video floating around which I'll post below. The pictures are from Bitfumo and the Golden Greek Store.

The video can be seen on Mistvape's Facebook page HERE. As you can see from the pics and the video Cybrillion is very similar to the previous model, the only external differences seem to be the engravings and the ridged markings down the main body. There is also a bigger battery venting hole inside for safety but that has no visual effect.

The original Cybrillion was very well received so expect this to be a good seller. Get on to the sellers sites and grab yours while you can as soon as they become available. I don't know what sort of stock each seller has but as with all GG products there is a chance these will sell quickly.

New Cybrillion Coming Soon!

Last year on the 29th of December Imeo announced that the second run of Cybrillion would begin assembly the next day and would be in stores around 15-20 days later. That means we only have a couple of weeks to wait. For those that don't know Cybrillion (pictured below) is a popular single 18650 mech mod released by Imeo in 2016. At 23mm wide and 81mm long it is one of the smallest GG's around.

The Cybrillion that will be released in January this year is expected to remain true to the original but has minor changes to the appearance according to Imeo. I fully expect it to be as popular as the original, it's a fantastic little mod. Keep your eyes on your favourite suppliers websites for stock arriving in the coming weeks as I'm sure this is a mod that will sell out fast.

Good news for GG fans! There are now a few more stores to add to the growing list of GG sellers. They are meisterfids-paff, dampfdorado and jac vapour. This is really good news for buyers in the UK as there hasn't been a seller here for a while now. Imeo has also mentioned another seller for those of us in the UK but I'll wait until it appears on the wiki before I add it to the suppliers list.

There's no word yet on how soon these stores will have any GG stock and which stock they will have but as soon as I know I'll try to make a post about it. Of course you can visit the stores now to buy your e-liquids and other vaping items in the meantime.

GG Tilemahos Armed Eagle

Imeo's latest tank the looks to be the best tank he has built to date. It is an improvement on the Tilemahos Armed with enhanced features that eliminate any flaws that the first design may have had. In redesigning the tank Imeo says he concentrated on separating the e-liquid element from the user's interaction and secondly he worked on improving the taste. What he came up with is the Tilemahos Armed Eagle.

As you can see from the video Imeo has addressed any concerns people had with the previous version of the Tilemahos Armed, fixing and improving features on the new design. In fact there are nearly too many new features to mention. Imeo has listed them all in the Armed Eagle thread on ECF which you can visit for more information by clicking HERE.

Overall I think the Armed Eagle looks like some of the best work Imeo has ever done and shows his non stop commitment to providing vapers with quality vape hardware. It seems to be pretty popular already and in a couple of weeks time the Amed Eagle will be available in a new 23mm size from all suppliers. So if you were put off buying by previous size options, maybe the new size is a better fit for you!

Cover Star

Thanks to a post by Frank Muders on the Golden Greek Freaks Facebook group I saw that for the month of November Golden Greek was featured in the publication DAMPFERmagazin! This is a great honour indeed for the GG line. It promises a look into the history of the GG and features a beautiful GG combo on the cover as you can see below.

I'll post a link to the Dampfer magazin website below in case you're interested in this or in future issues. It's always nice to see the GG getting the recognition it deserves and maybe bringing it to a wider audience.

Long Time No See!

It's been quite a while since I posted anything on this blog so I thought it was about time I put down a few words again for the few people that still visit the site. In this post I just want to explain where I've been, what I've been up to and what I plan for the future.

Firstly I am still a huge GG fan and avid vaper though I must admit to slipping over to the dark side and giving in to smoking again for a while. This was due partly to the new TPD rules meaning a drastic cut in the availability in the regular e-liquids I was used to and also down to a lack of will power and high level of frustration at the way my vaping was going at the time. I'm happy to say though that I have kicked the smoking again and am now back to vaping and loving it more than ever!

During the time I was smoking though, I didn't keep up with any of the vaping stuff I should have, so I am a little behind where I should be in knowing what's current in the vaping scene and more importantly in the GG world. I am doing my homework though and getting up to speed, currently learning all I can about the Armed Eagle!

As you are probably aware the vaping world moves quickly and trying to stay current is a hard task. My plans for the future are to get up to speed and to start posting again, mostly on Golden Greek products and other interesting vape stories too. I still love vaping and plan on getting my head back in the game, starting now. I have a lot to catch up on but I'm looking forward to seeing what I've missed and learning what's coming up in the future!

I'm sure you've already seen the site but if not there is a new website for all things Golden Greek. The site was made by Imeo himself and I must say I think he has done a really good job. If you click the image below it will take you directly to the site or you can find the link under 'useful links' on the tool bar above.

The new site has a lot of sections including news, photos, videos and offers info on past, current and upcoming projects straight from the horses mouth as they say. It should be a great resource for anyone looking to find out more information on anything to do with Golden Greek products, make sure you add it to your bookmarks!

Almost forgot again to pick a winner for Pic of the Month but here I am just in time! This month's winner was a tricky one. Everyone posted great pictures that were absolutely fantastic. I could easily have picked any one of the photos as a winner. However the picture that caught my eye was the one below by Keighles.

I'm going on holiday soon and the sight of a GG by the pool in the sunshine has me itching to get packed and flying away so I can enjoy the same. It's a great combination too, Proteus and Penelope are perfect together and look stunning in this photo.

This months Pic of the Month was, in one way, another easy pick for me. With the release of Cybrillion I knew I was going to choose a picture that featured the new GG mod. All I had to do was see which picture I thought best illustrated the newest member of the GG family in all it's glory. That picture comes from forum member vodja.

A great picture, showing a GG where it should be, in the hand and in use. I like how it shows the scale of Cybrillion and how nicely it fits in the hand. Coupled with the clear tank it makes a very cool and current looking mod, I am very envious!

Instructional Videos

Imeo has posted two instructional videos that will be useful to anyone keen on getting an insight into the workings of the latest GG mods about to be released. The first is a continuation from the Cybrillion video and goes a bit more in depth into cleaning and maintaining Cybrillion. The second video is a very lengthy breakdown into how to operate the hotly anticipated Proteus. I think Cybrillion looks like a very exciting product and very different from anything we have seen so far from Imeo. I love the button and the ease of adjustment, also the locking mechanism seems really solid. In my opinion this looks to be another excellent addition to the GG line and I can't wait to see them released.

For those that have not seen it yet, details have emerged of the new tube mod from Imeo. It is to be called the Cybrillion and features a unique design mechanism for firing the device. It's an 18650 device although it is still very compact.

Future GG Products

It's been a while since I had a look at what we have coming up in the GG line. In fact I totally missed the release of the different versions of Tilemahos in various diameters. I had seen them but didn't get round to writing about them. I admit I was probably quite late in seeing them, in fact the first I knew about them was when I saw these pictures, already well into production.

Now I'm determined to stay ahead of the game on the latest devices Imeo has lined up. Adam on ECF started a thread about future mods where Imeo has confirmed a new tube style mod, a 30mm GG4S a new 32.5 mm mod and most exciting to me, a box mod.

The tube style mod will be a 23mm side firing similar to the Esterigon but with a bigger button. It's small like Esterigon and has a simple and effective lock mechanism. Pictures should be ready in about 3 weeks so I'll keep my eyes out for those.

No more info on the 30mm GG4S but that isn't hard to imagine. The 32.5mm mod sounds interesting. Again with this mod there is not much information I have found but I'll keep looking.

Lastly the box mod will be a small and compact mechanical box mod. Smaller than anything seen before with new functions and very easy to operate according to Imeo. No word on if it will be series or parallel or what size battery it will take. I can't wait to see what it will look like.

Talking of box mods I think one area where Imeo has missed an opportunity is in the high end box mod area of the ecig market. This could be his first step in that direction. Coupled in the future with VIR he could have a huge hit on his hands. If you look at any high end box mod you will see thay are in constant demand and very hard to get hold of, it is a growing market as people move on from smaller regulated devices to something bigger and better. I would love to see a Golden Greek mod, VIR inside, made of a mix of Steel/Wood/Stabilised Wood or even high quality plastics, take your pick. There are some beautiful box mods around and if anyone can create a mod to beat them it's Imeo.

Finally at the very end of the ECF thread Imeo mentions the future use of Zirkonium as a metal for ecigs. I found this picture below and it looks like an interesting material.

I doubt Imeo has such a rough finish in mind though! It has a strong resistance to corrosion, is refractory and hard, as well as resistant to chemical attack. It is often used in surgical equipment, dental implants, knee and hip replacements, etc. It sounds like a very robust material but all we really need to know is 'Does it polish up well?!'

The futrue looks good for GG with some exciting projects on the horizon. I will do my best to keep on top of them and bring you any news as I find it.
