I might be the only person from the state of Oregon that doesn't know how to ski. I tried once in college but some little girl cut me off on the bunny slope and I ended up breaking my thumb. A Big Effin Diamond

Jet Around in a MonoTracer

You're probably staring at the picture above and wondering what the heck it is. Is it a car? A motorcycle? Not exactly. What you're looking is the MonoTracer by the Swiss-based company Peraves. The current gas-powered version features a Kevlar cockpit, iPod connectivity, electric sunroof, navigation system, and even storage space for your luggage. In addition, this sleek two-seater can reach a top speed of 160 mph and get up to 60-70 mpg. An electric version which can hit 200 mph won the Progressive Insurance X Prize last Fall and will go into production this Spring. The current MonoTracer starts at $75K, but sorry, it doesn't come with cupholders.

Richard Mille RM 028 America’s Dive Watch

Is it just me or are there a lot of great high-end dive watches out there? Well another one is hitting the market at the end of this month. The RM 028 features a 47mm black titanium case, a skelatonized automatic movement (no idea what that means but sounds complicated), and is water resistant down to 300 meters. I’m assuming the only time such water resistance would come in handy would be if the watch accidentally fell off while diving and it fell to the ocean bottom and you somehow were able to recover it via an un-manned submersible. Could happen I guess. Only 30 pieces will be made each costing $82,000.
