All Things “Max”

Eight year-old Max has a unique collection of things with the name “Max” in the title which will be on display during July in Youth Services. Items in his collection include colorful fabric letters which spell out his name and a several Max and Ruby picture books by Rosemary Wells. His favorite Max book is Max’s Dragon Shirt because it is a funny story.

Summer Sidekick

Go Green–Recycle Your Crayons!

Bring your broken, peeled crayons and your whole, unwanted crayons to the library and drop them in the collection jars in Youth Services. We will take them to S.C.A.R.C.E.–an organization in Glen Ellyn committed to recycling and reusing things around us–who will then turn them into something new!

Snow Globes on Display

Danny's collection of snow globes is on display in Youth Services during the month of June. Some of his favorite snow globes include a Snoopy one, which plays the Charlie Brown theme song, one that plays “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” and one that was made in Switzerland and displays the Nativity scene.
