The biggest thing that stands out is the big digital clock that seems to use the PS3 / Spider-man 3 font you can’t ever seem to forget. The battery meter and signal meter are based on the sun and leaves. Looks pretty cool. The wallpaper looks good with this theme I haven’t tried anything with it yet but i can imagine i will soon.

The icons for this theme look pretty cool, some look similar to past icons used with little leaves added and some look totally different. The usual time, notifications,etc are located at the top as usual. I have been using this theme thus far and have no problems with it. Runs perfectly fine on my 8900 and haven’t had any slowdowns as of yet. If you want something nice to brighten up your blackberry you’d probably like this.

Now if any of you have ever seen or heard any stories about John Dillinger, then you are well aware of how this story ends. Other than that this was a great update to an old story of one of the greatest bank robbers in American history. Johnny Depp was superb in the leading role as charismatic Dillinger. As with most of his leading ladies Marion Cotillard who plays his love interest Billie Frechette has good chemistry with Depp. Christian Bale played a good Purvis as it was kind of a small role in the movie, being that it revolved around Dillinger’s life. Stephen Graham who plays “Baby Face” Nelson was a stand out as the notorious gangster, who always had his Tommy gun ready to fire. There was also a cameo by Channing Tatum as “Pretty Boy Floyd” who was also a legendary criminal during the times of bank robbing. Rounding out the cast was also Giovanni Ribisi as Alvin Karpis, Dillinger’s lawyer so to speak. David Wenham as Harry “Pete” Pierpont, Stephen Dorff as Homer Van Meter, and Rory Cochrane as Agent Carter Baum. I give this movie 3 shots out of 4. It was a great remake. A little too long on the slow parts, but when the Tommy guns were firing, very exciting. The movie made a little over $44 million in its first week of release. The movie runs 2hours and 23mins. It was rated R for gangster violence and some language. It was written and directed by Michael Mann. It was produced by Tribeca Films, Appian Way, Forward Pass, Inc., Misher Films. It was distributed by Universal Pictures.

The first song on this album that I find myself playing obsessively on repeat is Bad Habits. “Make me crazy, don’t speak no sound, I want you to prove it to me in the nude, Addicted to the way you move” and thats just how the song starts off. There is also his current single Pretty Wings which is classic Maxwell. A couple of other songs I am feeling are Stop the World and Phoenix Rising,which is instrumental, I can’t even describe how these songs make me feel. I am not by any means a romantic person but this album made me want to rush home, cook dinner and light some candles and maybe work on baby #2.

This album may be short but it’s very effective. It makes you want to fall in love. With all the unfortunate things going on in the world as of late this album is a nice escape to intimacy. I give this album two snaps and a twist it is a definite must have in your music collection. If you are a Maxwell fan or you just love great music you will not be disappointed.

I’m telling you between Al B and Maxwell there are gonna be alot of newborns 9 months from now, recession or not!!

The Homescreen sports 3 buttons which house 5 icons per button giving you a total of 15 customizable icons. Basically get ya 15 favorite apps & get ya favorite wallpaper and ya Blackberry will look as sleek as can be. The wallpaper that comes with it is nice also.

You got to hand it to them for giving each icon such detail to stand out on its very own. I have no problems with them at all whether it be the colors, shapes, etc. The top bar sports your usual time, date, battery, and notifications.

Great theme, runs good on my 8900, and have been enjoying it thus far. Also due to the limits of the 83xx,88x,87xx, it will only sport 5 customizable icons. All I wonder now is what will the creative minds at Hedone Designs think of next. Now I really enjoyed the first movie of this cartoon turned live action adventure. It was fresh and exciting and full of action. I also liked this one a lot except for a few things that they did this time around. First of all the robots are cursing way too much in this installment, and I felt it really wasn’t necessary to add that dynamic to the film. Second was the fact that Sergeant Epps (Tyrese Gibson) kept asking if this kid, Sam was going to be able to stop the war that was about to start. “Hello” didn’t he save the planet the first time around, with the help of his Autobot buddies? Also in this one, there are so many Transformers popping in and out of the action that it’s hard to keep up with everyone. In this version we also got to see multiple Transformers join to become even bigger ones. That was cool, but was hard to make out who was interlocking with whom. The new character in the film, Leo (Ramon Rodriguez) was pretty funny as Sam’s college roommate who gets thrown into the battle. His scary antics were hysterical. Some of you may have wondered what happened to Anthony Anderson in this version. Well he did contribute to the movie by voicing the character “Jolt”.

Also coming back for a second helping of galactic battle were Josh Duhamel (Major Lennox), and John Turturro (Agent Simmons, and he also was the voice of “Jetfire”) Then there was a feature in this movie that was not part of the original cartoon. The robots were able to take the form of humans. This turned out to be a big surprise when it was revealed on the screen. All in all there were more than 10 autobots and more than 17 decepticons in this movie. This was a lot to keep up with, especially when they were joining together to form bigger robots. I still feel the movie was outstanding and can’t wait to see what they do next. I give it 3 ½ transformations out of 4. It was very enjoyable and the action scenes were amazing. With an opening week of over $201 million in ticket sales, this franchise has to continue. The movie runs 2 hours and 24mins. It was rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material. It was written by Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci. It was directed Michael Bay. It was made by DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures studios. It was produced by Di Bonaventura Pictures, Inc. It was distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Honestly when we first heard this song, we didn’t quite like it. Maybe it is because we’re so use to auto-tune, it almost seems natural as anything else now-a-days lol. With that being said, we are glad this song has awaken us, Jay Z is like Neo from the Matrix and he has freed us, and we are now unplugged! After listening to this song, we get it, we like it, and we like the video. Auto-tune has been heavily used and now it is time to let it rest. Go Brooklyn!

A normal day starts with the Blackberry be disconnected from the charger between 7:15 – 7:30am in the morning. A normal ending day for us can be anywhere from 12 – 1am. So this will be the time used for the test. The first test we tried was the keep it in all day test. With this test we decided that we would holstered the Blackberry whenever it wasn’t in use and see if we would have a good amount of juice left at the end of the day. So this would consist of using to check emails, IM here and there via BeeJiveIM, maybe a little Facebook app checking, and short conversations on Blackberry Messenger, no phone calls. This represents how I currently use my Blackberry. With this normal load, I would have to reconnect my charger at around 4:30pm and it would be 100% again when I headed home at 6pm. So this first test will see how the Fuel helps in this matter.

On this first time, the Fuel did a GREAT job. At stated disconnected the charger and left home at 7:30am. My day consisted of checking emails, using BeeJiveIM, and the some in and out use of the Facebook application, as this is how I normally use my phone during the day. I don’t use more since with the 3G, it would kill my battery even quick if I used more. So with my normal day, using the Fuel took me all the way passed 10pm with the phone itself still have about 50% batter power, at this point the Fuel was empty but since it has charged the phone I was able to keep going. In this cause it beat me as I got tired and fell asleep around 10:30pm, so on this test with the Fuel the Blackberry out lasted me! lol

For the next test on day 2, I chose to keep my Blackberry out of the holster as much as the day as possible as this is what I do when I’m at work. I have the Blackberry on my desk for easy access and then usually around 4:30pm, plug it in to recharge as I’m usually down to 14-18% by this time.

This test yielded about the same results with the only difference being that when I popped the Blackberry into the holster at 4:30pm since it was down to 14%, while it charged up the phone, now the Fuel pack was empty. I could of just left it on empty and continued on my day, as the Blackberry had about 90% power from there, and so carried me to the rest of the night, something compelled me to recharge the Fuel again, as I had this never leave a fuel cell behind thought lol. Now as to not cheat, once the Fuel was full again, I turned the power off for the rest of the night and made it till 12am and still had power, again with the Blackberry out lasting me as I called it a night.

Finally for the last test day 3, I set out to push it to the limit! I would disconnect at 7:00am and then run everything, even stuff I would normally leave closed. So I would run BeeJiveIM (IM), Socialscope (Twitter), do Facebook status and use the Facebook app, check emails, be on Blackberry Messenger, and maybe even surf the web if I have time. Would it last till the end of the day like the first 2 test?

While the Fuel did do good on our intense test, it didn’t last as long as the previous days. Maybe this is to be expected since I was running data heavy apps like Socialscope, BeeJiveIM, and even briefly a video on the device. But 8pm I had about 27% percent left and I would say it would of took me till 9, 9:30pm before needing a charge. Now while this wasn’t as long as the other days, this is still great since I started at 7am, was in a full 3G area for 90% of the day and was running apps all day!

To wrap up, the Fuel is worth the price, actually maybe 20 bucks cheaper to $59.99 and that would be perfect. This battery pack allowed me to not have to carry a spare, not have to recharge midday, it kept me going throughout a full day of use. I love it and I think I can endorse this product. Fuel is a definite must for any Bold user who is in a consistent 3G area!

Another single off the Day 26 album “Forever in a Day”. This is a nice song and we like the feel of this video. While it offers nothing beyond the typical R&B group vibe, we like their moves on this video, especially during time where they all move in the same direction, some of those move came out up. Now let me just start off by saying,” I am so upset that I didn’t see this movie when it first came out”. It came out the same week as “The Taking of Pelham 123”, and as you may know I went to see that instead, big mistake. This movie is hilarious! Wait let me say that one more time. This movie is freaking hilarious!! From beginning to end this movie will have you rolling out of your seat. The characters were great, the story was actually believable, because guys do really stupid things at bachelor parties, and these guys practically did it all. The great part about it is that you don’t get to actually see they’re high jinks till the end of the movie which is the capper to the whole mystery. You do get to see the ramifications of their actions and those alone are hysterical. I laughed out loud so many times during this movie, but so did the rest of the audience.

Zach Galifiankas was a definite standout in the group as his character definitely needed to be on some kind of medication. He really did comedic justice with portraying Alan, the soon to be brother in-law. Mike Tyson has a cameo in the movie, and even he got some good laughs. Mike Epps on the other hand, must have just been looking to cameo in anything, because I saw no real purpose in his comedic personality having the small part he has in the movie. Another standout character was “Mr. Chow” (Ken Jeong). From the time he literally jumps into the movie, he had me on the floor with laughter. This movie is a must see for comedy fans. I give it 3 guys out of 4. I’m sure if I retrace my steps I can find that last guy. LOL The movie is rated R for pervasive language, sexual content including nudity, and some drug material. It runs 1hr and 39mins. It was written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (III). It was directed by Todd Phillips. It was produced by Green Hat Films. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Distribution.
