SteelSeries is officially kicking off its 25th anniversary with a bang, and if you’re a fan of ultra-lightweight performance, you’re going to want to pay attention. The brand just pulled the curtain back on the Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2, and it’s a massive leap forward for one of the most iconic silhouettes in competitive gaming.

Here is everything you need to know about the new “4K Fast” contender.

Speed That Redefines “Instant”

The headline feature here is the move to a 4000 Hz polling rate. In a world where 1000 Hz was the standard for years, “4K Fast” means the mouse communicates with your PC four times as often. When paired with the 1.2 ms click response time, the Gen 2 ensures that your flick shots and micro-adjustments are registered with near-zero latency.

Powering that precision is the TrueMove 26K optical sensor, delivering flawless 1-to-1 tracking that pros have come to expect from SteelSeries.

Built to Survive the Grind (and Spills)

We’ve all been there—a late-night session, a stray elbow, and suddenly your desk is a lake. SteelSeries has you covered with their AquaBarrier technology. Despite the “hole-punched” honeycomb shell designed to keep weight down to a mere 68g, the internals are IP-rated to resist dust, dirt, and liquid spills.

Key Specs at a Glance:

Weight: 68g ultra-lightweight design.

Switches: Mechanical switches rated for 80 million clicks.

Battery Life: Up to 200 hours of play on a single charge.

Customization: Full RGB zones and deep performance tuning via SteelSeries GG software.

Style to Match Your Setup

Performance is one thing, but aesthetics matter. The Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 is launching in three distinct colorways to fit any vibe:

Shadow (Classic Black)

Ghost (Pristine White)

Magenta (For that bold pop of color)

Pricing and Availability

The Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 is available starting today at $109.99.

Whether you’re climbing the ranks in Valorant or just want the most responsive tool for your creative workflow, the Gen 2 is a powerhouse upgrade that proves SteelSeries is still leading the pack 25 years later.

Pro Tip: If you’re looking for the ultimate desk aesthetic, check out the new color-matched QcK Heavy mousepads that SteelSeries launched alongside these mice!

After having a great showing at this past CES and MWC, TCL’s next major phone is available here in the U.S. That would be the NXTPAPER 70 Pro. One way TCL has managed to stay out from other phone makers is its use of its NXTPAPER technology. It utilizes ways of making the display better for your eyes and also providing different options to enjoy your content as well.

This phone has a 6.9″ 120Hz display , 5200mAh battery, and has a dual back camera. If you decide to put their phone in Max Ink Mode you can get up to 7 seven days on battery life alone which sounds impressive.

It is available now for $199.99 via T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile.

Samsung can’t seem to keep these on shelves or online since its release a couple months ago. Intitially it sold out soon as it hit the web and even there were some restocks that and went. Even to the point where it was announced that the TriFold was discontinued.

Well it looks like either Samsung has some stock laying around or has made some more of the impressive looking foldable for you can get your hands on. IF you are interested in the close to $3,000 smartphone that unfolds into a 10″ tablet you have a chance this Friday.

You have two options either try and catch it online or stop by one of Samsung’s Experience Stores listed below:

· Los Cerritos Center (Cerritos, CA)

They even have a countdown clock going for the Galaxy Z TriFold on their website. Will you attempt to get one?

I’ve spent a lot of time around projectors that try to be…

I’ve spent a lot of time around projectors that try to be everything at once. Home theater replacements. Gaming displays. Ultra-bright setups that demand a dedicated space. The XGIMI Vibe One takes a different direction. This is a projector built around lifestyle. I’m talking about something you can grab, move around the house, bring outside, or throw onto a ceiling while laying back and unwinding. That approach immediately clicked with me.

After spending time with it, what stayed with me wasn’t just what it does. It’s how easy it is to use.

Fun Design, Easy to Carry

It feels less like a piece of tech and more like something that belongs in your space. I found myself moving it constantly. Living room wall. Bedroom ceiling. A darker corner setup just to test flexibility. Auto focus and auto keystone handle the heavy lifting. You place it down and it corrects itself almost instantly. That kind of frictionless setup makes a real difference over time. There’s also an ambient lighting mode built into the design. It adds a subtle personality to the device when it’s not actively projecting. Not essential. Still appreciated.

The design feels intentional the moment you pick it up.

Compact and lightweight form factor

Lantern-style aesthetic with a built-in handle

160-degree adjustable stand that doubles as a carry system

Specs and Performance

Core Specs

1080p Full HD resolution

250 ISO lumens brightness

1500:1 contrast ratio

Google TV with native app support including Netflix

Dual 3W JBL speakers

Internal battery rated around 1.2 hours for video playback

Real-World Usage

Image quality lands exactly where I expected for this class. The 1080p resolution delivers a clean, sharp image in controlled lighting. Colors hold up well in darker environments. Once ambient light comes into play, the limitations show up quickly. This is not a daytime projector.

Audio performance surprised me in a good way. The JBL-tuned speakers are clear and loud enough for a medium-sized room. Dialogue comes through clean. Bass is limited, which is expected at this size. Google TV integration is one of the strongest parts of the experience. The interface feels familiar. Native app support removes the need for external devices. It behaves more like a portable smart TV than a traditional projector.

This is where the Vibe One really stands out. There’s a natural rhythm to using it:

Pick it up

Set it down

Let it auto-adjust

Start watching

No setup process. No adjustments every time you move it.

It became my go-to for casual viewing. Late-night YouTube sessions. Quick Netflix runs. Situations where I didn’t want to commit to sitting at a primary display.

That flexibility gives it real staying power. But of course, there are limitations. At around 1.2 hours of video playback, you are not finishing most movies without plugging it in. That restricts its fully wireless use case. Brightness is another factor. It performs best in darker environments. Daytime use requires heavy light control. The most noticeable caveat came when running strictly on battery power. The operating system slows down slightly. Navigation feels less responsive compared to when the unit is plugged in. Menus take an extra moment to react. That said, once content starts playing, the experience stabilizes. The slowdown becomes less relevant during actual viewing.

The portability and convenience still outweigh that drawback.

REVIEW SCORE: 8/10

The XGIMI Vibe One knows exactly what it wants to be. It does not try to compete with high-end home theater projectors. It focuses on simplicity, portability, and ease of use. That focus works on its favor. I kept coming back to this more than I expected. Not because it delivers the highest performance. Because it fits into everyday use without effort. That kind of convenience is hard to ignore once you experience it.

The Shure MVX2U Gen 2 feels like one of those deceptively small…

The Shure MVX2U Gen 2 feels like one of those deceptively small devices that ends up solving a much bigger problem than you expect. On paper, it is a compact single-channel XLR-to-USB interface. In practice, it is the kind of gear that makes a traditional XLR microphone far more flexible across the way people actually create today. Whether that means streaming from a desktop setup, recording a quick voice session from a tablet, or building a mobile content rig around a phone, the MVX2U Gen 2 is built around convenience without making your audio workflow feel compromised.

What immediately stands out here is how much versatility Shure managed to pack into such a lightweight design. At around 100 grams, USB-C powered, and capable of working in either a plug-on or inline configuration, the MVX2U Gen 2 is clearly designed for creators who do not want a bulky interface dictating where and how they can work. It supports both dynamic and condenser XLR microphones, delivers up to +60 dB of gain, and includes 48V phantom power, which makes it useful across a wide range of microphones rather than locking you into one specific use case. That kind of flexibility matters, especially for creators bouncing between broadcast-style mics like the SM7B and more traditional condenser options depending on the project.

Deceptively Intuitive

MVX2U Gen 2 lowers the friction between having a good microphone and actually using it everywhere. A lot of XLR workflows still carry the assumption that once you move away from the desk, your setup becomes less elegant or less reliable. This device pushes back against that idea in a really smart way. Shure positions it as mobile-ready, and the support for desktop, iOS, Android, and select Mac and Windows devices makes that claim feel earned rather than aspirational. It works through Shure’s MOTIV ecosystem on desktop and mobile, which gives it a smoother transition across devices than a lot of creators are probably used to.

Another strength here is that the MVX2U Gen 2 is not just acting as a basic signal bridge. Shure added onboard digital audio processing that gives the device a more polished, creator-friendly identity. Auto Level Mode, a real-time denoiser, and Digital Popper Stopper are all geared toward making spoken-word capture cleaner and more consistent, especially in spaces that are less than ideal acoustically. That makes a real difference for creators recording on the go, streaming in untreated rooms, or trying to keep their workflow fast without babysitting every little adjustment. The fact that it can remember previously used audio processing settings also adds to that convenience, because it helps preserve a familiar sound signature when moving from one device to another.

Designed for Versatility

It is not trying to be a giant desktop interface replacement for someone running an elaborate multi-input studio. It is trying to make one good XLR mic far more useful, and it does that extremely well. For podcasters, streamers, remote hosts, mobile creators, event coverage setups, and even anyone who just wants to keep a reliable recording chain simple, this little interface feels purpose-built for modern content workflows. There is also something to be said about how approachable it all feels. The plug-and-play design, the included USB-C cable carrying both power and audio, and the uncluttered setup all reinforce the idea that professional-sounding capture should not require a complicated path to get there. Shure has always understood the value of dependable audio tools, and the MVX2U Gen 2 feels like an extension of that thinking for a newer generation of creators who might be recording just as often from a phone or tablet as they are from a permanent desk setup.

The Shure MVX2U Gen 2 is the kind of accessory that earns praise because it makes everything around it more useful. It broadens what your XLR microphone can do, where it can go, and how quickly it can be ready to work. For anyone who values portability, cleaner setup management, and the freedom to create across multiple devices without giving up the character of a proper XLR mic, this is an impressively thoughtful piece of gear. It is compact, capable, and most importantly, genuinely versatile in a way that feels relevant right now.

Magnetic ecosystems are everywhere, but ohsnap! is doing something different by prioritizing a “paper-thin” footprint over everything else. I’ve been putting their latest combo, the Snap Grip Stand and the Snap Pack, through its paces to see if they actually deliver on that “barely-there” promise without sacrificing utility.

Snap Grip Stand: The 3mm Powerhouse

Most grips feel like a compromise; you trade your phone’s slim profile for a bit of security. The Snap Grip Stand changes that. Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, this accessory manages to feel incredibly premium while maintaining an ultra-slim 3mm profile. Its sleek build is a game-changer for daily use; unlike bulky plastic alternatives, it slides into pockets without snagging, ensuring your phone stays streamlined. The utility is equally impressive, featuring a snappy finger loop that provides a rock-solid anchor for one-handed scrolling or capturing the perfect photo on the move.

Beyond its physical footprint, the magnetic versatility is where this piece truly shines. While it is fully MagSafe compatible, its real “secret weapon” is the ability to mount to any magnetic surface, from fridge doors for following recipes to gym racks for timing sets. When it’s time to kick back, the integrated stand supports both portrait and landscape orientations. While its thin design is happiest on flat, hard surfaces, it remains perfectly stable for video calls and hands-free viewing.

Snap Pack: Power Without the Bulk

The Snap Pack is the battery companion that completes the system. It’s designed to stack right under the grip, and the integration is seamless. This is easily the thinnest magnetic power bank I’ve ever handled, sharing a seamless design language with the grip that makes the entire “stack” feel like one cohesive unit rather than a clunky afterthought. It’s a level of functional integration that you simply don’t see in other ecosystems.

In terms of performance, this isn’t a high-capacity brick meant to last a week; it’s a “top-off” battery built for portability and convenience. It’s the perfect companion for a long evening out or a heavy travel day where you just need that extra boost to cross the finish line. Additionally, the bi-directional USB-C port adds a layer of versatility, letting you quickly recharge the pack or use it as a traditional wired power bank for your other gear.

FINAL THOUGHTS

What makes this duo stand out isn’t just the tech, it’s how it fits into a daily routine. If you’re someone who values a clean, minimalist aesthetic but needs the functional “tether” of a grip and the safety net of extra power, this is a top-tier solution. The transition from having a bare-feeling phone to a fully powered workstation happens in a literal snap, and that lack of friction is where the real value lies.

However, it is important to manage expectations regarding physics. Because both items are so incredibly thin, you do have to deal with some heat during charging sessions, and the Snap Pack won’t be reviving a dead phone to 100% multiple times over. It’s a bridge battery, meant to keep you going until you hit a wall outlet, rather than a heavy-duty power station.

Ultimately, if you’re tired of the “brick” feel of traditional battery cases and bulky grips, the ohsnap! system is a refreshing, high-tech alternative. It’s a premium investment for sure, but for the person who hates bulk and loves clever engineering, it stays out of the way until exactly the moment you need it.

AndaSeat has built a strong reputation around chairs that usually lean into…

AndaSeat has built a strong reputation around chairs that usually lean into bold gaming aesthetics, thick padding, and a premium feel that often competes with some of the bigger names in the space. The X-Air Series takes a very different route, and honestly, that is exactly why it stands out. Instead of chasing the oversized racing-seat formula, AndaSeat delivers an all-mesh chair focused on breathability, ergonomics, and adjustability, while still keeping that enthusiast appeal intact. The X-Air immediately positions itself as a compelling alternative to other premium mesh chairs that can climb much higher in cost.

From Office to Gaming

What I appreciate most about the X-Air is that it does not feel like a compromise piece. This is not a “budget” chair pretending to be premium. It comes to the table with meaningful features, including dynamic lumbar support with self-adaptive tilt, a 3D headrest, and 5D 360-degree rotating armrests on the Pro model. The chair also uses a breathable all-mesh design, which is one of its biggest strengths for long gaming sessions, work days, and warmer setups where faux leather can become a burden fast. AndaSeat also highlights a 105 to 126-degree recline range, a seven-level back height adjustment system, and a removable headrest, which gives the X-Air a very flexible ergonomic profile for different body types and desk setups.

From a build and feature perspective, the X-Air Series punches above what I would expect at this price. Both the X-Air and X-Air Pro are designed for a broad range of users, making them accessible without feeling stripped down. The Pro model adds some notable upgrades too, including a self-adaptive tilt mechanism with multiple tilt locks, 5D armrests, an aluminum wheelbase, and a seat-depth extension. The standard X-Air scales some of that back with 4D armrests, a different tilt mechanism, and an iron base, but even then, the overall package still reads as feature-rich.

Premium But Affordable

Where this chair really wins me over is in value. Premium mesh chairs are often priced in a way that feels aspirational more than practical, especially once you start looking at ergonomic options with high adjustability. The X-Air Series manages to capture a lot of that upper-tier functionality without pushing itself into the same intimidating price bracket. That makes it especially appealing for anyone who wants a more breathable, more supportive chair without immediately jumping into the price territory of some of the most expensive office-focused seating on the market. Aesthetically, I also think the X-Air works because it feels cleaner and more versatile than many chairs marketed directly at gamers. The mesh construction and lighter design language let it fit just as naturally in an office or content creation setup as it would in a dedicated gaming room. It has the kind of understated look that can blend into a professional space while still delivering the type of adjustability enthusiasts care about.

If there is one thing to keep in mind, it is that the best version of this experience clearly sits with the X-Air Pro. Features like the 5D armrests, aluminum base, self-adaptive tilt system, and seat-depth extension make that model the more complete premium package. The standard model still looks solid on paper, but the Pro is where the series really flexes its ambition. Even so, that does not take away from just how competitive the X-Air lineup looks as a whole when measured against pricier premium mesh chairs.

Review Score: 9/10

The AndaSeat X-Air Series feels like a smart evolution for the brand. It takes the company’s premium-minded approach and applies it to a lighter, more breathable, more ergonomic seating experience that makes a lot of sense for modern gaming and work-from-home life. For build quality, adjustability, feature set, and overall affordability against similarly premium competition, this is an easy recommendation.

The Anker Nano Power Strip (10-in-1, 70W, Clamp) feels like one of…

The Anker Nano Power Strip (10-in-1, 70W, Clamp) feels like one of those products that solves a very real problem without overcomplicating the fix. Power strips are usually the last thing anyone gets excited about, but this one immediately stands out because it is clearly designed for the way a modern desk actually gets used. Between monitors, laptops, handhelds, tablets, phones, speakers, and the random accessories that always seem to pile up, desk space disappears fast. Anker’s answer here is smart. It takes that familiar power strip concept and reworks it into something cleaner, more practical, and much better suited for a home office or gaming setup.

Clamp It Good

The clamp-on design gives it a much more integrated presence than a traditional strip sitting on the floor or hanging behind a desk. It mounts directly to the edge of a desk and keeps power access close without turning the setup into a cable mess. That approach alone makes this feel more thoughtful than the average desk accessory. It is meant to stay in place, stay accessible, and reduce clutter instead of becoming part of it.

The feature set is also surprisingly well balanced. You are getting six AC outlets in total, with two placed on top for quick access and four tucked underneath to keep less frequently touched cables out of sight. That dual-level outlet arrangement is a strong idea because it separates convenience from cable management. It is paired with two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, which gives it the kind of flexibility that makes sense in a mixed-device household or workspace. Whether someone is charging a phone, topping off a tablet, or keeping desktop gear powered, this feels built for real multitasking rather than a narrow use case.

A Powerhouse Strip

The charging side is another highlight. A single USB-C port can deliver up to 70W, which is enough to fast charge current phones, tablets, and other compatible devices with ease. That matters because a lot of desk hubs and power strips add USB ports almost as an afterthought. Here, the charging component feels like part of the main appeal. It has the kind of output that helps clear extra charging bricks off the desk while still keeping everyday devices topped off. Anker did not ignore safety and stability. The clamp supports a practical range of desk thicknesses, and the soft silicone padding helps protect the surface from scratches. That may sound minor, but it is the kind of detail that matters when a product is supposed to live permanently on a desk. Add in surge protection, overload protection, short-circuit protection, and temperature control, and it becomes clear that this is not just about convenience. It is also about giving users a little more confidence when they are plugging in multiple everyday essentials.

From a design standpoint, the Nano Power Strip comes across clean and unobtrusive. The available color options help it blend into different setups, whether the goal is a brighter minimalist desk or something darker and more understated. That sounds simple, but a desk accessory like this benefits from not drawing too much attention to itself. It should look like it belongs there. This one does. At its asking price, this reads like a premium convenience product, but not in a way that feels unreasonable. It is taking several things people usually buy separately or manage poorly and combining them into one tidy solution. For anyone building out a cleaner desk, a compact workstation, or a family charging area, the Anker Nano Power Strip looks like a polished answer to a very common mess. It is practical, it is clean, and it feels purpose-built for the modern desktop rather than adapted to it after the fact.

A lightweight, cordless system with three included interchangeable attachments for fast cleanup across garages, patios, cars, and inside the home

NEEDHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SharkNinja, Inc. (NYSE: SN), a global product design and technology company, today announced Shark® BlastBoss— the only indoor-outdoor air blasting system that converts into a powerful BlastBroom to clear, loosen, lift, and sweep debris with ease. With three included attachments, BlastBoss tackles messes instantly, delivering adjustable airflow up to 190 MPH* in a compact, cordless design. The all-in-one design is a versatile solution for the garage, patio, car, inside the home, and beyond.

For years, consumers have had to choose between cumbersome outdoor leaf blowers and underpowered indoor dusters—tools designed for extremes rather than everyday, in-between messes. BlastBoss changes that by reimagining airflow technology in a lightweight system that combines power, precision, and control in a variety of dynamic colors.

From sawdust scattered across the garage after a weekend project to pine needles piling up along the porch or sand ground into car seats, these are the messes that vacuums miss, brooms smear, and wipes can’t touch. BlastBoss clears them instantly. A responsive variable-speed trigger puts you in control, letting you dial airflow up or down to match exactly what the task demands. Power through a leaf-covered patio. Blast grit off the garage floor. Clear crumbs from a stroller in seconds. Then dial down the power to gently dust bookshelves, vents, and keyboards without damage.

“At SharkNinja, we’re obsessed with solving the everyday problems people have simply learned to live with,” said Julie Saldarriaga, VP of Marketing at SharkNinja. “Too often, disruptive messes don’t justify pulling out large, cumbersome equipment—yet they still demand attention. BlastBoss was engineered to fill that gap, delivering targeted, high-performance cleaning power in a compact, always-within-reach design. With thoughtful innovation—from its versatile transformation into BlastBroom to its modern, design-forward colorways—it reimagines what a cleaning tool can be. It’s about giving consumers a faster, more effortless way to clean—so they can get back to what matters.”

BlastBoss comes with three interchangeable attachments:

BlastBroom – A smarter take on the traditional push broom, combining sweeping motion with directed airflow to loosen, lift, and launch debris—ideal for patios, garages, and walkways.

Extension Wand – Adds reach and focus for getting under appliances, behind furniture, and into tight, awkward corners.

Precision Nozzle – Concentrates airflow for tight crevices like window tracks, couch cushions, vents, dashboards, and between keyboard keys.

Weighing under 1.5 pounds, BlastBoss is easy to use and brings joy to cleaning. Its cordless design makes it convenient in the moment, whether you’re cleaning up the deck before guests arrive, clearing grass clippings, or rescuing toys from under the couch.

A universal issue with using earbuds is either misplacing the case or forgetting to charge them up. Well, Komutr looks to fix both those concerns with its Wireless MagSafe Earbuds. But just how good do they work?

Style

The Komutr Earbuds don’t even look like a wireless earbuds case and is reminiscent more of a battery pack or even MagSafe wallet. This so easily secures to the back of your iPhone (or compatible MagSafe smartphone). Komutr comes in two colors of Black or Warm Cream.

The earbuds are pipe style like other earbuds and have touch control functionality on them. You can tap on them various times for play controls and other options if customized in the app.

Komutr does not specify how much the case weights, but each earbud is about 3.9g. The case though is 12mm thick giving it a slim profile. Also, the case and earbuds are comprised of plastic. It’s noticeable that the device overall does feel inexpensive but that has also helped with its pricing which hovers around $99 on their website. It has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

To keep the case nice and secure with your iPhone it uses N54 neodymium magnets. This case does not move an inch. Even if you hold it upside down, the door doesn’t open and when you do open the case, the earbuds are in and they won’t fall out thanks to additional magnets inside. Komutr has included Apple Find My with this device in case you happen to misplace it.

The case has a 600mAh battery which can be charged via the USB-C port or of course via the wireless MagSafe charging. This solves the issue of having to plug your case in somewhere and possibly forgetting it while on the go.

Sound

These earbuds feature 8mm drivers and are touting a 20Hz to 20KHz frequency range. They have nice bass and some clarity in vocals but just feel they are missing details. You can mess around with the EQs settings on the apps to see if something would suit you better though.

Experience

I have used these on various occasions and it’s quite interesting to have everything in this little case. Not worrying about losing it and using it as a kickstand at the same time. It’s slated to give you 7hrs of playback from the earbuds and six extra charges from the case. I don’t ever notice them dying out, especially doing wireless charging with my iPhone. But sometimes you must remember to turn off Bluetooth when not in use. I have seen where these stay on for hours without usage and they don’t have any sensors so taking them out your ears and putting them back in the case I have seen them still playing music.

Active Noise Cancelling is not too bad as they fit in my ears nicely with its silicone tips and help isolate noise. It is not the best ANC, but it is very reasonable.

The accompanying app is a bit clunky and could be organized and labeled better making it easier to find features on there.

This MagSafe earbuds case is best suited for iPhones. Trying to use it with other smartphones like my Galaxy S26 Ultra can be hit or miss and that solely falls on what kind of case you are using.

Verdict

Komutr MagSafe Earbuds provides a solution to a problem you think other tech companies would have figured out years ago with its impressive magnetic case functionality. I never felt I would lose or misplace the earbuds / case which is a plus. Battery life is cool since it uses wireless charging anyway. To me, the audio is not the best but there is room for improvement. Alongside this being Komutr first attempt at this I would love to see what else they can produce in the future.

Epson has recently unveiled the Lifestudio Grand Plus Ultra Short Throw (UST) Laser Projector, and it’s a clear signal that the future of home entertainment isn't a bigger TV—it’s a smarter, more immersive projection.

For years, the dream of a true home cinema meant one of two things: a massive, heavy glass panel that is testing your faith and the strength of the screws holding it up on your wall, or a complicated projector setup requiring a dedicated dark room and ceiling mounts. Now, that compromise is officially over. Epson has recently unveiled the Lifestudio Grand Plus Ultra Short Throw (UST) Laser Projector, and it’s a clear signal that the future of home entertainment isn’t a bigger TV—it’s a smarter, more immersive projection.

A 150-Inch Cinema Becomes Part of Your Home

Priced at $3,799.99 and available in both sleek black and crisp white, the Lifestudio Grand Plus is designed to be a centerpiece that doesn’t dominate the room. Because it utilizes Ultra Short Throw technology, you don’t need to mount it on a ceiling or clear a path across the room. You simply place it on a credenza inches from the wall, and it throws a stunning 4K HDR image up to 150 inches.

As Melvin Diaz, senior product manager at Epson America, puts it:

“The Lifestudio Grand Plus is designed to deliver an immersive, theater-like experience that integrates beautifully into home décor, even with challenging room layouts.”

Brilliant Detail, Day or Night

We specifically asked an Epson representative about how this projector might perform in daylight or even well lit rooms, and they stressed that this projector was designed to solve for that problem. One of the biggest hurdles for projectors has always been ambient light. Epson tackles this head-on with their proprietary 3-chip 3LCD technology. Unlike many competitors that sacrifice color for brightness, the Grand Plus delivers a balanced 4,000 Lumens of both Color and White Brightness. Whether you’re watching a Sunday afternoon football game in a sunlit living room or a moody noir film at midnight, the 8.29 million pixels and HDR10 support ensure the picture remains vivid, sharp, and true to life.

Beyond Basic with GoogleTV with Gemini

While the picture is the star, the “brain” of this projector is what truly sets it apart. The Lifestudio Grand Plus is one of the first projectors to integrate Google TV with Gemini. This isn’t just a basic smart interface; it’s a conversational hub. Instead of endlessly scrolling through 10,000+ apps, you can talk to Gemini. You can ask for recommendations based on your mood, brainstorm family vacation ideas, or even have the projector act as a tutor by answering complex questions with supporting YouTube videos. It turns the living room wall into an interactive, AI-driven canvas.

Immersive Sound and Pro Gaming

Epson didn’t stop at the visuals. They partnered with one of the biggest names in audio to include an integrated 2.1 system featuring Sound by Bose. This provides rich, room-filling audio with deep bass, meaning you won’t necessarily need to clutter your space with external soundbars or wires to get that “theater” feel.

For the gamers, the Grand Plus is “Next-Gen Ready.” With three HDMI ports supporting 4K at 120Hz and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), it offers the high-frame-rate performance required for competitive modern consoles.

The Bottom Line

The Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus represents a shift in how we think about home design. You no longer have to build your room around a television. Instead, you can have a world-class, 150-inch theater that appears when you want it and disappears when you don’t.

I still remember when the PlayStation 3 first launched. I was 16…

I still remember when the PlayStation 3 first launched. I was 16 years old, and my oldest brother and I wanted it immediately. We didn’t have the money sitting around, so we made it happen the only way we knew how. We saved some summer job funds, sold games and traded anything we could. We lived in NYC and went down to GameWorld on Fordham Road in the Bronx and started stacking whatever credit we could get.

Prices were all over the place because of demand. Some other mom and pop stores were even selling their consoles for upwards to $1000. Literally impossible price tag for 2006. That kind of money was usually exclusive to extremely high build PC’s and even then, that was unheard of really.

We still chased it down. That excitement overpowered everything else.

PlayStation 6 Is Already Raising Eyebrows

The PlayStation 6 hasn’t been officially revealed, but the early projections are starting to form a clear direction.

Current Expectations

Release window: 2027 (with potential delays into 2028)

Estimated price range:

$600–$650 (baseline expectation)

$800+ (more realistic scenario)

$999 (upper-end prediction analysts are throwing around)

That top-end number doesn’t feel like a stretch anymore.

Why Prices Are Climbing

There are real factors pushing things in this direction.

Advanced chip manufacturing is getting expensive

AI-focused hardware is now part of the equation

Memory and bandwidth upgrades are no longer minor jumps

Sony has already tested higher pricing with current hardware

The rumored specs reflect that shift.

Performance Targets

4K at higher frame rates

Heavy ray tracing improvements

AI-driven upscaling becoming standard

On paper, that level of hardware starts to overlap with mid-to-high-end PC builds.

The Problem With a $900–$1000 Console

If a console delivers performance close to a PC in that same price range, it sounds like a fair trade. You get a streamlined experience, optimized games, and a plug-and-play setup. That logic works on paper. It doesn’t land the same in reality. Console gaming has always been about accessibility. It’s been the entry point. It’s where players jump in without needing to understand specs, builds, or upgrades. That balance starts to shift the moment pricing pushes into four-digit territory.

A $999 console changes who can realistically enter the space. I keep thinking about that moment back in 2006. Back then, the high price came from scarcity. Once supply stabilized, pricing made more sense. What’s being discussed now feels different. These projections are tied to the actual cost of the hardware itself. That’s the part that stands out. It also reshapes expectations across the board. Once one company sets that tone, the rest of the industry tends to follow.

GUNNAR’s Roswell feels like a frame built for people who want their…

GUNNAR’s Roswell feels like a frame built for people who want their gaming eyewear to do more than just sit on the face and filter light. This is one of those designs that leans hard into personality, and in this case, that personality is unmistakably Alienware. Roswell is officially licensed by Alienware Gaming and wraps that partnership in a bold, sci-fi-forward silhouette that immediately stands apart from more conventional blue-light frames. The Conspiracy Blue finish, sculpted temples, and alienhead branding give it a distinct visual identity that feels deliberate.

Roswell is built around a precision engineered polymer frame with wide-format lenses designed to deliver a panoramic field of view. GUNNAR lists multi-barrel hinges, its patented lens technology, and G-Shield Plus coating with anti-reflective and smudge-resistant properties among the key features. It also blocks harmful blue light and 100% UV, while prescription options are available for those who want the style and screen-focused functionality without giving up their everyday correction. The listed measurements come in at 58 mm lens width, 48 mm lens height, a 16 mm nose bridge, 136 mm frame width, 135 mm temples, and 34.9 grams in weight.

The Style That Matches

What I like about Roswell is that it doesn’t pretend gaming glasses have to look understated to be useful. The oversized lens presentation and broad front give it a more assertive presence, which works especially well if your setup already leans into premium peripherals, RGB-heavy aesthetics, or a clean futuristic desk environment. This is the type of frame that can sit naturally next to an Alienware monitor, a mechanical keyboard, and a sleek matte-black battlestation without looking out of place. At the same time, it still has enough polish to work as a lifestyle accessory if you just like your eyewear with a bit more edge. That balance between style piece and functional gear is where Roswell earns its identity.

For gaming, the appeal is pretty easy to understand. GUNNAR positions the wide-format lens design as a way to create a more panoramic field of view, and that makes sense for long sessions where you are constantly scanning HUD elements, menus, ability cooldowns, minimaps, and peripheral movement. The anti-reflective coating also helps support cleaner viewing under desk lights and monitor glow, while the blue-light filtering focus is built around reducing the strain that can creep in during marathon sessions. GUNNAR’s general lens lineup also offers multiple tint options depending on how much blue-light filtering and color preservation you want, including Amber, Clear, and Clear Pro variants across its broader product range. Amber blocks 65% of blue light at 450 nm, Clear blocks 35%, and Clear Pro blocks 20%, with Clear Pro specifically positioned for users who prioritize color accuracy in creative work.

That last part is what makes Roswell work beyond gaming. If you spend your day jumping between gameplay, editing, writing, browsing, and general desktop work, this kind of frame makes sense as part of a full-screen lifestyle rather than a single-purpose accessory. The styling is loud enough to feel premium and branded, but the actual feature set is rooted in everyday digital use. That combination matters, especially now when a lot of us are not just gaming for a few hours and stepping away. We are living in front of displays. Roswell feels designed with that reality in mind.

The Quality Presentation

There is also something to be said for how committed the presentation is. GUNNAR includes a custom puffy pouch, a custom microfiber cleaning cloth, and a 12-month warranty with purchase, which reinforces that this is meant to feel like a premium licensed collaboration rather than a simple frame reskin. It carries that collector-minded flair, but still keeps its footing in actual usability.

GUNNAR Roswell ultimately comes across as a stylish, unapologetically gamer-first pair of glasses that knows exactly who it is for. It has the kind of bold frame language that immediately catches the eye, but it backs that up with practical screen-use features, generous lens coverage, prescription availability, and a coating stack meant to support long hours in front of a display. For anyone who wants gaming eyewear that doubles as part of their overall setup aesthetic, Roswell makes a strong case for itself as both performance gear and a statement piece.

Seagate’s FireCuda line has built a strong reputation around enthusiast storage, but…

Seagate’s FireCuda line has built a strong reputation around enthusiast storage, but the FireCuda X1070 2TB carves out a slightly different lane. Instead of chasing the most extreme halo-tier SSD positioning possible, it focuses on delivering the kind of speed, capacity, and reliability that actually matter for modern gaming, content creation, and daily high-performance use. The result is an M.2 drive that feels far more versatile than its Xbox-forward branding might initially suggest. On paper, it is designed for Xbox on PC and handhelds, but in practice, this is simply a very capable PCIe Gen4 SSD that deserves attention well beyond that ecosystem.

What immediately stands out about the 2TB FireCuda X1070 is how well-rounded the specification sheet is for the class it is targeting. This model uses a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe 1.4 interface in the standard M.2 2280 form factor, making it an easy fit for a wide range of desktop motherboards and compatible handheld platforms. Seagate rates the 2TB model for up to 7,200 MB/s sequential reads and 6,500 MB/s sequential writes, alongside up to 900,000 random read IOPS and 1,000,000 random write IOPS. Those are the kinds of numbers that immediately put it in the conversation for fast boot drives, game libraries, and creator-focused scratch storage.

Increased Speed for Greatness

That performance profile translates nicely into the real-world use cases that matter most. For gaming, this is the kind of SSD that keeps installations, patching, game launches, and level transitions feeling quick and responsive. It is clearly built to reduce load times, improve asset access, and support smoother transitions in modern data-heavy titles. That matters because today’s biggest games are not just large, they are constantly pulling textures, audio, and world data on the fly. A drive like the FireCuda X1070 helps keep that pipeline moving without making your system feel like it is waiting to catch up.

What I appreciate even more is that the FireCuda X1070 doesn’t lock itself into a narrow identity. Yes, Seagate clearly leans into the Xbox-on-PC angle, and the included Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial reinforces that positioning. But this drive is just as compelling for a traditional desktop build, a compact gaming rig, or even a hybrid gaming-and-creation setup. It feels equally at home in a handheld-focused library expansion or as a primary internal drive in a performance-driven PC. That broader utility is what makes this drive feel more substantial than a themed accessory play.

The 2TB capacity is also a sweet spot. It is enough room to store a serious modern game library without immediately forcing you into constant uninstall-and-reinstall behavior, while still leaving breathing room for captured footage, project files, and everyday applications. With game install sizes continuing to balloon, 2TB feels like the minimum point where a performance SSD starts feeling liberating rather than merely adequate.

Durable for the Long Haul

The 2TB model is rated for 1,200 TBW, backed by a 1.8 million-hour MTBF, and includes a 5-year limited warranty plus 3 years of Rescue Data Recovery Services. That support package gives the drive a stronger value proposition than raw speed numbers alone would suggest. It is also built around 3D QLC NAND and tuned for sustained throughput and thermal balance, which helps explain why the drive feels aimed at users who want high capacity and fast everyday responsiveness without stepping into a much pricier premium bracket.

I also like that Seagate includes some thoughtful extras around the experience. The bundled SeaTools SSD software adds health monitoring, tuning, and firmware update support, which is always welcome for users who want a little more visibility into their storage. On top of that, the included Adobe Creative Cloud offer gives the drive a nice creator-friendly angle that complements the gaming pitch. Those bonuses are not the reason to buy the X1070, but they do make the package feel more complete.

If there is one thing worth keeping in perspective, it is that the FireCuda X1070 is not pretending to reinvent the Gen4 SSD category. It is aiming to be accessible, fast, high-capacity, and dependable, and it succeeds because of that balance. The Xbox branding might make some PC builders initially assume it is niche or platform-specific, but the actual hardware tells a different story. With standard M.2 2280 compatibility and solid flexibility across modern systems, this is a broadly useful internal SSD that fits naturally into far more builds than the marketing alone might imply.

REVIEW SCORE: 9/10

The Seagate FireCuda X1070 2TB is an exceptional M.2 SSD that gets the fundamentals right. It is fast, roomy, easy to integrate, and backed by a strong warranty and recovery package. Even though Seagate frames it with Xbox on PC and handhelds in mind, this is the kind of drive that makes just as much sense in a serious desktop gaming setup or a mixed gaming-and-creator workflow. For anyone looking at a reliable PCIe Gen4 upgrade with strong everyday performance and the right amount of headroom, the FireCuda X1070 2TB is an easy recommendation.

This week’s GeForce NOW lineup brings some new titles including a racer bringing retro vibes called Screamer. Definitely gives off memories of playing those racing games from the 90s such as Ridge Racer, or even colorful futurstic visuals like Wipeout.
