Design, Display, Messaging and Hardware:

Samsung Galaxy Grand was like by many people at the launch time as it was slim and powerful, and people of today’s generation like these kind of phones as well, but the design is an another part which mainly attracts a customer.The Samsung Galaxy Grand is having an old design similar to the previous Galaxy series phones like the Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S III etc. and thus, it is not so much interesting in the terms of design, but it has a solid hardware and the exterior is made up of metal, while there is plastic on the backpanel.

Samsung Galaxy Grand is having a 5.0 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display which is 480 x 800 pixels in resolution. This device is 143.5 x 76.9 x 9.6 mm in dimensions and is quite thin as well.Also, this phone provides a good amount of PPI which is also needed for a good view and it provides nearly 190ppi which is okay for this type of giant phone, but not the best which is not going to give you that sharp look of the display.The phone is a little heavy and it it weighs about 162gm which is quite larger as compared to the other large devices launched by this and other companies in comparison to it.

Samsung Galaxy Grand is also good for messaging and typing stuffs as this phone is having a very large display and you have got enough room for the typing. This device is nearly 9.6mm thin, but there are many phones which are thinner as compared to this phone and that counts when we buy a phone.At the bottom end of this phone there are three buttons present.There is a single push button accompanied with the other two capacitive touch buttons which are settings and back respectively.Well, the display is quite bright, but this is an Android running phone and surely eats a lot of battery life and you can fight against it by downloading some battery saving applications from the Google Play Store.

Operating System and Connectivity Features:

Samsung Galaxy Grand is and Android device and is running on the Big G’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and this device is surely going to get the future software updates as well.Android 4.2, Jelly Bean improves on the speed and simplicity of Android 4.1 and includes all new features – Photo Sphere and a completely redesigned camera app, new Gesture Typing keyboard, Google Now with all new cards, and much more.Everything in Jelly Bean feels fast, fluid, and smooth. Samsung Galaxy Grand is a 3G only device and has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well.This device is a single-SIM device and uses the Mini-SIM card for the access.All the connectivity features work really fine and we are completely satisfied with them too.

 Camera and Processor:

Samsung Galaxy Grand is having an 8 Megapixel camera and with the Review it is clear that the camera is quite good.The 8 Megapixel camera is present on the back of this device along with a single-LED flash.This camera is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos at 30fps and we have already used this camera and found it really good and we can assure you that you are not going to be disappointed with this camera.It is also capable of capturing good quality images as well.On the front of this device there is a 2 Megapixel camera present for making the video calls as well, because it is a 3G device and if there was no secondary camera then the connectivity feature was simply a waste.

Samsung Galaxy Grand packs a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor along with 1GB of RAM, Broadcom VideoCore IV.The processor is quite okay, but at this price that’s poor as even Micromax Canvas HD and other Xolo phones are equipped with the Quad-Core processors and we are all fond of the latest processors as they make our day to day multitasking easy in the life.The internal storage of this device is 8GB and you can expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card.Overall, the processor of this phone is okay and when the battery is low, the processor will make your phone quite slow and it may hang also during that low battery time.

 Others:

Samsung Galaxy Grand is having a nice web browser and also the camera applications is loaded with many new features.The phone is quite solid, it feels solid in the hand and provides a nice grip.It is a little heavy and that’s why you can feel it in your pocket always.The speakers of this phone are quite good and it has 1080p HD video playback as well.Anyway, this is a good phone which is available now in India for purchasing.

The Verdict:

Samsung Galaxy Grand is overall quite satisfactory and we have found no errors in this phone.We do not know how reliable this phone is when felt from the hand, but we think that it will made your year.Software is no one issue in the history, and there is no need to worry about as the company has been working with the latest technology which is good for all the users.The phone is priced quite high as compared to the specs as it is priced at Rs. 21,500/- and we think it should be a little less.Anyway, this phone is a good one for your purchase of you are looking for an Android phone priced above Rs. 20,000/-.

 Samsung Galaxy S 4 features a 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display which is so sensitive that it can be used by wearing a glove which was the technology invented by Sony and Nokia earlier this year and now, the Samsung device is using it.It is companies first ever Full HD display which is 1920 x 1080p pixels in resolution providing a great amount of PPI.The screen is quite bright and as usually, it is an Android device so the battery life is not so good.The phone is not a bit heavy and we felt that the phone is quite strong, the bezels are made up of metal while there is a plastic backpanel.Anyway, this phone is quite thin as well.

 This device is running on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and we are sure that this phone is also going to get the updates in the future also.It is having the new Samsung TouchWiz User Interface and we think that it is still not better than the HTC Sense 5.0 combined with the Blinkfeed on HTC One which is the biggest competitor of this phone.It is a 3G only device and has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port, NFC, S-Beam and a 3.5mm AV jack as well.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 comes with a 13 megapixel camera on the back of this phone with a single LED flash which is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos at 30fps and the camera can capture image in various models like the drama mode, auto mode, random mode, night mode etc. This phone is also packing a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor plus a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor which makes this phone the one and only first phone of this world to pack a Octa core processor means it is having eight-cores.This phone packs a 2600 mAh battery as well.

 The internal storage of this device is 16GB and you can expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card.This phone is also including the Air View technology, the smart Pause technology and the ey scrolling tech along with many new stuffs that we are going to discuss very soon with you guys.

The Lumia designed Asha Phone is going to have some good specs and we guess that it is going to be a dual-SIM 3G device which will be having the connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack.Well, we already know how a Nokia Lumia phone looks and still if you want to see a phone again, check out the pic below to remember the exact design.

Braille Smart uses Shape memory Alloy technology, which is based on the concept that metals remember their original shapes i.e. expand and contract to it’s original shape after use.This screen will be capable of elevating and depressing the contents to form patterns in braille.The phone’s ‘screen’ has a grid of pins which will move up and down as per requirement.The grid has a braille display, where pins come up to represent a character or letter.Well, we can see the Braille Smart or the Smatphone for Blind the coming months and hope that one day every blind man will be able to access all the mails and SMSs around the globe by using this phone.
