Not quite on the level of chwarzenegger or Optimus Prime, but it’s getting there. The Chasercam intelligent sports-camera comes basically in two parts: the camera (with base), and the sensor target. When activated, the camera turns on it’s base and up and down, seeking in all directions the sensor target. What you do is stick one to the person doing the tricks, and one to the person who is chasing the person doing the tricks. Total coverage!

Gotta strive for total coverage. You can’t exactly do that too well with the head-cams of today, where whenever you, the film person, have to watch where YOU are going on your own bike, or skateboard, or snowboard, etc. – you’ll be crashin! Now you haven’t got to worry about that!

With the camera base sitting on top of your head, the camera seeks automatically – and in a steady manner – the target. The target, safely attached to the athlete, is a sure shot for where the action is.

Long story short, the blokes (Tiff Needell) at Fifth Gear review the new Lotus Evora sports car.  The Evora is an attempt by Lotus to make a more civilized car with some more room for your tiny friends.  The video gets funny at 3:10.

Remember URWERK’s last pimpin watch the UR-202?  Well, they are at it again with their latest the URWERK UR-202 King Cobra. 

The Urwerk King Cobra has 2 horizontal retrograde cylinders which are used to display the hours and minutes are actually the result of 3+ years of R&D and testing to ensure their rotation and fly-back action doesn’t affect the watch’s accurate timekeeping.

The watch also features a honeycomb patterned rack (visible through a window on the side) used to rotate the minute cylinder that’s actually made from silicon via a photolithography process in order to keep it extremely lightweight but also very strong. Unfortunately there’s no pricing info for the UR-CC1 at the moment if you’ve already got your credit card in hand, but it’s easily another item you can file under “if you have to ask…”

I recently went to Oregon for our families annual camping trip.  Luckily the campsite had hot showers and decent bathrooms.  That is the good news.  The bad news, however, is that next year we are camping in a more remote location that has no bathrooms or showers… just a lake.  I can always grab a bar of soap and head to the lake to clean up.  I can pee on a tree.  But where in the heck am I going to poop?  Read on for the solution…

The solution… First off, I love the name “shit box”… I mean, why beat around the bush when naming your products.  And, when putting a picture on your product… why not show a poop climbing out of a hole… makes sense to me.
