“The weather in Russia is good this time of year, comrade…” “Indeed, and the fish is good at café de crem…” Right then, now the normal spy formalities are over and we have the obligatory confirmation code out the way, let’s get down to some proper spying.

The motion and sound activated Spy Clock Secret Camera is by far one of the most covert spy gadgets that we have featured. Admittedly, you are not going to miss this pretty cool looking clock on a shelf, but it is styled in such a way that it won’t look out of place in any office or home.

This is a must for any piece of covert security recording equipment and the fact it is a desk clock not a wall one means you can point it in the direction that you want to record.

The size of the device is also key as it is small enough to fit in your pocket (4.8 x 4.5 x 1.8 cm when folded) allowing you to easily palm it away when required.

So it ticks two of the big covert recording boxes with it being inconspicuously styled and portable (much like the Spy Pen Video Camera) but how does it fare on probably the biggest area, how well does it work?

As we have come to expect with nearly every covert camera we cover nowadays, it records in 4:3 ratio at 640×480 (VGA) 30fps with audio and outputs it all in an AVI format. That means any footage is easily clear enough to recognise faces and “other stuff”, but that’s not the best thing about this great spy gadget.

The defining feature is that it has a built-in motion and audio sensor. This means it only records onto the built in 4GB storage when there is actually something to record. For those not in the know, this might seem like a fairly minor point, but for those more educated spies out there, this is a really big positive.

It basically means that you don’t have to trawl through hours of footage for the 5 second section where something actually happened. It also means that the 2 hour video record time (with is always a problem on better operated surveillance gear) can now be really stretched out as it is only recording when someone is in front of the clock or is making a noise near it, so the battery and storage can last for days!

Another great bonus is that the Motion and Sound Sensitive Spy Clock also has a micro SD memory card slot so you can quickly remove the footage from the device rather than having to take it away and plug it into a PC.

Overall this is probably the best piece of covert recording equipment we have seen and you get it all, delivered to your door at a surprisingly pocket pleasing price, so this means it’s a great time to get your spy career started or perhaps add it to your growing collection of spy gadgets!

Pump Action Shot Gun (Drink Dispenser)

Aghh, summer is hear and just to put the icing on the cake it’s also the World Cup. As any real man knows, summer + football = getting drunk, a lot!

So in this vain of though you may consider yourself quite the drunken expert and can see no real room for a booze gadget in your life. Well, to put it simply, when it comes to the Pump Action Shot Gun you’re wrong.

What event would not be improved by an alcohol dispensing shot gun? That’s right, a gun… that shoots alcohol! Some genius has gone and combined two of a man’s favourite things into one magical gadget – yet another cool gadget to use while enjoying burgers cooked with a rotating BBQ!

Any “standard sized” plastic bottle will screw into the back. This does mean that you will need to transfer your booze of choice into a soft drink bottle but don’t worry, doing this does not make the drink a cocktail and bypasses the mocking any straight man should always receive for drinking the girly choice.

Once your bottle is filled, simply load your ammo into the back of your weapon and get ready to bring a new meaning to “wanna shot?” Built like a single barrelled shotgun you simply point the barrel at your alcohol desired location and give it a pump. “cha cha, boom!” (sound effects not included)…17ml of alcohol fuelled goodness delivered on target in about the funniest way possible.

On a serious note the Pump Action Shot Gun is not dishwasher friendly and apparently you can also put soft drinks through it (not that you ever really will…unless that’s your thing). Anyway, your party’s off “like a shot” with this piece of brilliant bar gadgetry.

Spy Pen Video Camera – Covert Audio & Video Recorder

If you had not noticed, we love spy gadgets hear at GFM like the great Spy Camera Sunglasses we covered. This Spy Pen Video Camera carries on the covert filming theme as it is pretty much what the title says. A pen with a built in video camera. It still amazes us how they manage to squeeze a camera into something so small. What really amazed us was what else this covert spy gadget had to offer as well.

For starters the camera shoots in VGA quality and stores them as JPG files that are time and date stamped. So that’s a “pen” that can shoot movies in exactly the same quality that an old school video player could show. How technology has moved on never ceases to amaze us.

The next great thing about the pen is that it also records audio. This is a massive plus as you can use the pen as a covert microphone as well as a camera. Catching that all important “I am telling you off the record” conversation has never been so easy, obviously you could do this with a voice recording watch, but you’d obviously miss having these other features of this nifty spy pen!

So you have recorded the all important transaction or covertly recorded the conversation now it’s going to be a right faff on to get the recordings off, right? Wrong! It couldn’t be easier, seriously. You simply unscrew the pen in the middle to reveal a USB connector. Simply plug that into your PC and transfer over the records. What if you don’t have the space to plug a pen into your USB slot? No problem it comes with a USB extender cable to make life even easier.

So now we know it has a camera, a microphone and a USB connector, “it must be huge and look nothing like a pen”, was our next thought. Nope, its just like a normal pen (14.5 x 1 x 1 cm ) and would not look out of place on anyones desk. We kid you not, just look at the photo!

So if it’s small, it must have a really short battery life and only store 20 seconds of footage. Wrong again. On a full charge (via usb that takes about 60 mins to charge) it will last about 90 mins. In those 90 minutes of time you can fill the internal 2GB of storage with footage. We don’t mean to sound funny but if you cant covertly shoot the scene you want in an hour, you should probably hang up your spy hat and replace it with a big white D cone and go sit back in the corner.

Thats a pretty big spec for such a small spy gadget, but it is not finished yet. It also works as a pen! Seriously. It also comes with 3 ink refills just in case you like writing with it that much. All in all the Spy Video Camera Pen is one of the best covert spy gadgets we have seen yet!

That’s right, this is the UK’s first ever adjustable heat hot sauce. Quite extraordinary when you think about. This really is the sauce that everyone should want. It can’t help but be perfect and it doesn’t matter what you like there is something for you, all in one pot.

When it comes down to it, Dave’s Gourmet Adjustable Heat Hot Sauce is just chilli sauce. However, by twisting the cap you can follow the labels to find the perfect heat for you. It sounds complicated and impossible doesn’t it? However, it isn’t really.

Basically, there are 2 compartments, one with extremely hot sauce and the other with mild sauce. Depending on how far the cap is twisted, the more it takes from either compartment and through the specially designed pump mixes the two to make the perfect sauce.

This hot sauce is imported from the USA and has been a massive success over there as much as it is becoming here. It’s a fantastic idea that will take the chilli sauce world by storm. Anybody who likes hot sauce will absolutely adore this sizzling sensation.

It’s perfect for any barbeque or spicy meal, it’ll no doubt go very well with a bloke’s BBQ using the BarbeSkew II (Rotating BBQ) and your BBQ Sword (Big BBQ Fork).

Hot on this thing really means HOT, so beware! There are guidelines that suggest starting at mild before leaping in at very hot, but I suppose that all depends how much of a man you really are! The user reviews would tend to agree with the claims that it is extremely hot at its hottest but never the less, Dave’s Gourmet Adjustable Heat Hot Sauce remains tasty throughout all the grades of hotness. Fat Boy – Giant Bean Bag

I remember when every bedroom couldn’t be without a bean bag or two. They were one of those must-have accessories and they’re pretty comfortable too to be honest. However, big bean bags have never been seen like this before. For the first time ever, everyone will want a Fat Boy. It may even become legal requirement to sit on a Fat Boy…OK enough with that!

The Fatboy have been seen before on Channel 4’s hit (or perhaps something that rhymes with that anyway) TV show Big Brother. It’s extremely versatile, you can lie on it, you can sit on it as it moulds around your every move.

When sitting on this giant bean bag, if you get it right it, it positions into a full-on arm chair with arm rests and everything. When you lie on it, the ends fold up to create pillows. It really does revolve around you.

It’s basically just a large bag full of beans, like any big bean bag. It comes in many different colours and patterns. Blue, black, brown or even camouflage so there really is one for everyone.

Not only can this Fat Boy giant bean bag be made into a great bed, chair or pillow, but no matter which dirty greasy fellow slobs might use it, it’s a doddle to clean. It’s made from a high tech nylon which can sustain being wiped down with soap and a wet cloth.

The Fat Boy giant bean bag is a must have for a lazy boy (or girl) who wants somewhere comfy to sprawl on. There’s nothing more to say than just… get one!

Key Tool & Shackle Set (Multi-Tool)

We love portable multi tools and they don’t come much more portable than the Key Tool & Shackle Set multi-tool.

The basic idea is that it’s a multi-tool that fits over your standard door key like a little jacket. It simply rotates allowing you to use the key or tool when required. At first glance it looks like a brilliant idea, but does not look to useful. How wrong you would be!

Think about those frustrating random moments when your life would have been made loads easier if you had a specific tool to hand.

What were those tools? “Bottle opener?” The Key Tool has it. “Screw Driver?” Got three of em! “Wire Cutter?” You bet ya. “Tweasers?” Hell yea! “Nail File?” This probably is not the site for you (but it does have one).

Through a simple piece of design and well though out execution a fantastic piece of gadgetry has been produced. Like the perfect portable multi-tool should be, it is small and light enough so that you would not notice carrying it around and has enough tools to actually be of use when needed.

Overall the Key Tool & Shackle Set is one of the best portable multi tool ideas that we have ever seen.

If you’re the sort of person who can’t get enough of the great outdoors, then these Survival Bracelets are something that you really can’t be without next time you venture into the unknown.

The comfortable and discreet bracelets can easily be released to provide you with 18 feet of military grade cord. When I say military grade I really do mean military grade. This stuff is used as parachute cord as well as in some way, on space shuttles. So it’s not exactly flimsy cord.

There are so many uses for this cord too, whether it’s to fix your tent or attaching hammocks or even swinging from trees, it’s strong enough and long enough for almost anything you could need it for.
