HP in Hong Kong has launched a new Mini 1000 netbook Special Edition. The spec on the 1000 is really good and you can view this after the jump. I happen to also like the colour but it’s last and my mind is a little slow.

Do you like cute speakers? Well now you can impress your friends, your family and even your Dog with the i-Turtle speaker. But wait!! It’s not only a Speaker….

Yes the i-Turtle will dance, all you have to do it plug him (I think it a him) into your MP3 player switch him on. Music will play and if you’d like to see him dance just place him beside another speaker and he’ll raise his shell and bob his head along with the music. He’ll also flash his lights along with the beat of the music, apparently.

Philips new Cinema 21:9 HDTV

So Philips have decided to release the Philips Cinema 21:9 HDTV, reading up on this it sound like a nice TV and it’s supposed to be the first cinema proportioned LCD TV. The Tv is boasting a 21:9 aspect ratio—displaying a full anamorphic 2.40:1 frame without letterboxing.

You know what Letterboxing is right? If not they are the blackbars on top and the bottom of the screen when you watching a movie. So the TV will allow the movie to take over the entire screen.

The TV makes lots of sense, we paid a lot of money for our screen and it’s a pain when part of the screen is not been used. What’s the point of that!

Philips plan on launching the 21:9 HCTV in Germany, Belgium, the UK and France later this spring. No pricing is available at the moment.

Touchscreens are all the rage at the moment and with this MP4 player with 2.8 Inch LCD is part of the new budget models that will start hitting store shelves soon. The player can play music and video come with an FM radio, E-Book reader, picture viewer, and plays video games.

Its comes with a 320×240 resolution touch screen, colour icon menu system is easy to navigate while the audio output includes an incredible equalizer system with 7 presets and an 8th user adjustable setting.

So it’s for sale in China at present for about 45 euro, expect to see this soon.

I like to see fun stuff and this Scrabble keyboard is kind of up there with the best of the gadgets. As gadgets go I’m a little bit of a geek but that’s why I’m here writing. so this Keyboard is a wood and brushed aluminium keyboard features real Scrabble tiles.

The USB keyboard can easily be plugged into your PC or Laptop computer and I bet could be classed as art at some point!! Okay maybe not. Most of the keys are made from real Scrabble tiles that were all hand-beveled.

The guys that came up with the idea says “This keyboard was going into a Mac environment so I decided to use brushed aluminium for the casing and round all of the corners to keep with the sleek”

Bicycle Projects a Bike Lane

Not hard to get your head around this. It’s only a concept but a really good safety one that might just work. The bicycle projects it own it’s own illuminated bike lane onto the ground, this would be idea at night time of course and help to give car drivers better visibility to help prevent some accidents.

I’ve cycled in Dublin and so many of the bike lanes or bus lanes have parked cars as trucks at night so I’m not sure if this work or not.
