College Accessories — Steel Pendants

Way back college days, I used to wear steel pendants which I thought describe me best. In fact, I have a number of steel pendants with different styles and shapes. But my most fave among all was my Cannabis sativa leaf pendant. Hey, hey, wait! You might be thinking I am using one real Cannabis sativa leaf, but you’re sure to be wrong. I only wear its equivalent steel pendant. Aside from that leaf which is looking almost the same as that shown in the image above, I also have letters K and G steel pendants, which are both initials of my first and nick names, respectively; heart-shaped, oblong with some abstract designs and a lot more. These are just some of my college accessories which I am not using anymore today. LOL! First Day of Lent Season 2012 — Ash Wednesday

Today, February 22, 2012, is the first day of Lent Season 2012 — Ash Wednesday. This has been my yearly “dos” as a Christian. So just right after our exam this morning, I immediately rushed to the Basillica del Sto. Nino here in Cebu City for me to be able to catch the 8:30 AM mass. Enough with my adrenaline, I arrived at the church 10 minutes before it started and I also able to grab a seat for myself. One thing what Christians usually do during this day is to have a ceremony using ashes as a symbol of penitence. Ashes usually were marked in the forehead. I didn’t took a photo of myself since I was still in my medical school uniform and, I guess, it’s very unlikely to take photos of oneself inside the church. Engagement before the Spring begins — March 20, 2012

Since the year has started, I almost always hear people shouting in Facebook about getting engaged or for some, to get married, before the Spring begins — March 20, 2012. What really is in Spring season that people wanted to get engaged before it begins? I am just wondering. In fact, most of my boy friends now are rushing to get the most unique engagement rings they could have for their loved ones. I do not know, I am still confused! But of course, I am also happy for my friends to get engaged and to marry soon! Ate Mari’s Birthday Bash

Before we had our Basketball in Timezone, Ayala Center, Cebu, we first had our sumptuous lunch at Golden Cowrie, Robinson’s Cybergate, Cebu City. Ate Mari, our classmate in medical school, treated us as she celebrated her nth birthday. I just used nth because I forgot how old is she now. LOL! After our lunch, we immediately proceeded to Ayala Center, Cebu. We played at the arcade, as I’ve mentioned in my previous post and then we watched a movie. Again, those were all treats by Ate Mari!!! Yay! Cheers to her for another year!!! Happy birthday again, ‘Te Mari!!! Basketball in Timezone, Ayala Center, Cebu

Who says a medical student doesn’t have a chance to play arcade games in malls? Believe it or not, many says we couldn’t because of our hectic schedules. But as a saying goes, If there’s a WILL, there’s a WAY, we really did! After we had our examination last week Monday, I and some other classmates went to Ayala Center Cebu to celebrate one of our classmates birthday bash. After a chitchat-full lunch, we decided to take some time to try arcade games in Timezone, Ayala Cebu. We first tried the dance pad craze. And yeah, it really made us crazy following those fast-moving arrows. Haha! Just think of us wearing our medical school uniforms and then dancing like crazy. Take a look at the image below. The dance pad really made us sweat. But even though we were, I still tried to play the basketball because I want to win even one of the custom basketball trophies displayed inside the arcade area. After two rounds of playing, I failed to get one. I lost my basketball game. After those long hours of playing like little kids, though tired, we enjoyed those moments. Deborah, my Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera

Every time I have a new gadget owned, I usually give them names for me to just call them with their names in public and not merely the kind of gadget they are. This morning, I can’t remember exactly how things happened but “Deborah’ just popped out in my mind and told myself to name it to my Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera. Trying out “Deborah”, my Canon Eos 60D DSLR Camera Ain’t it “Deborah” a nice name for a Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera? What do you think? I told Ernhez about this. But he was just laughing. He asked me why such name. I don’t know but I just love the name “Deborah”. By the way, so far, I have only less than a thousand photos taken yet. I will that my 1000th captured image with Deborah will be the very first picture that I will be sharing. Online Video Conferencing at Home

It’s been awhile since I haven’t seen nor talked to the kids at home, Didong, Didang and Dodong. I really missed them! Every time I call mom or my dad at home and tried to talk to any from them, they either asleep or ain’t at home. I never had a chance to talk to them. During weekends, which is sure that I could have enough time to mingle through online video conferencing at home with them, we still can’t do because they usually go out. New Part-time Job — Events Photographer

Since the day I had my own Canon Eos 60D DSLR Camera, the “wants” to optimize its uses has always been what I want to do. I even thought of photography services for hire like to be a photographer in any occasions like birthday, wedding, baptism, graduation and a lot more. I know I am not a pro when it comes to photography. But how can I make myself one if I don’t try to be one? Should I say, I won’t accept photographer services for hire as of now yet. I might just attend events, practice taking photos like be one of the hired Raleigh wedding photographers. What do you think? Or maybe, I will just take outdoor photos first like those leaves, flowers, anything. I might else take snapshots of those moving vehicles, crying kids along the streets and the like. Wow! I have a lot of things I want to do just to maximize the beauty of my Canon Eos 60D DSLR Camera. But with those all, I do not exactly know where to start. I have nothing special to rant but about my Maysa, my computer. She’s alright now, she’s ok. But I am not satisfied with the way the computer technician did to her because the applications that I wanted to be installed to her were not installed though I paid exactly how much they charged me.
