http://www.military.ie/army/

http://www.military.ie/overseas/ops/europe/kfor/index.htm

http://archive.irishmilitaryonline.com/

Grüße aus Galway
Rachel und Steve

Eating and Drinking in Bamberg

»Du bist, was du isst!«

In Germany, people's eating habits are very often linked to their lifestyles.

Download MP3

Liebe Grüße,
Nicola Walsh und Elaine Madden!

Das Galwayer Kulturfest - The Galway Arts Festival

Hi,
Although the statue itself doesn't seem that impressive to us today, the mystery behind it transcends its physical smallness. This was the main thing which caught our interest and convinced us to produce a podcast about it. So with this podcast, we intend to inform you briefly about the mystery behind the Bamberg horseman.

For more information on the statue, check out this site (in German):

http://www.historisches-franken.de/bamreiter/reiter01.htm

Or this shorter site (in English):

http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Bamberg-Horseman

Or listen to our podcast: Download MP3

Thanks to our tandem group in Galway, Clemens and Denise, for giving us the idea!
And many thanks to Esther for helping us out with our English!

Judith & Dirk

Wilkommen in Galway

Liebe Bamberger,

Wilkommen in Galway!
