London based Nico De Ceglia is a visionary Italian music geek who makes full use of all things music. Whether it’s as a DJ, producer, journalist, A&R, club promoter or radio show host, there isn’t much that he hasn’t tried his hand at.

A real music fan that comfortably moves from the newest name and trend in the electronic scene to the alternative rock bands.

Scouting and pre-selecting for Pete Tong’s legendary show on BBC Radio 1 since 2001, his vital job is to keep him informed on the more alternative and underground sounds.

His monthly night CODEX was one of the most successful midweek parties to grace sorely missed superclub The End, and while no longer active, the CODEX project lives on in the form of one-off events.

With fellow Italian Severino (of Horse Meat Disco fame) he has recently launched a project under the name Hyena Stomp. The two share inspirations that move from Kraftwerk to Prince, from the Detroit sound (both the seminal techno scene and the rock one) to cosmic and Afro via house… and more. The pair have remixed Tevo Howard ft. Tracey Thorn for Rebirth, DJ Hell for Gigolo, The 2 Bears for Southern Fried.
