Jockey Tunes Vol.2, Galopp Records:
After two years of strolling through the depths of genuine freestyle music, german label Galopp Records proudly presents some fresh produce: “Jockey Tunes Vol.2”, their second compilation, hits the stores in late 2011 and comes up with a colorful bunch of diverse freestyle tunes.
The opening track “Saranghina” comes from Hatfield-based producer ODJBOX, who lately released two Digital EPs focusing on electro swing. “Saranghina” combines Electro-Swing and Balkan elements joined by subtle broken beats, creating a laid-back yet hip-shaking mélange.
It takes the upcoming Electro-Swing Live Act KLISCHÉE from Switzerland to increase the pace by throwing “Tin Tin” in the ring. Jazz’n’Swing’n’Club’n’Beats…move, my dear, move!
It’s been a while since they released “Hipbrass” in Spring 2009 and time is overdue for some fresh sounds by DJ-Duo/producers FROHLOCKER. So here we are, introducing “The Blu Men”, a balkanized Club Tune swirling around a deadly Klezmer siren and flavoured with a deep breeze of Drum’n’Bass. Time to lose yourself on the dancefloor.
Strike No. 4 of the new Selection features italian old hand and musical mastermind Giorgio Cencetti better known as DJ FARRAPO (e.g. collaborations with Yanez, Solo Moderna, Jazz.K.Lipa), who turns MUNICIPALE BALCANICA’s catchy “Unique Sun, Unique Blood” into a fluffy, latin-flavoured party hymn, which is pretty hard not to dance to.
Last stop of this musical journey is Wuppertal/Hamburg, where the mighty MASH & MUNKEE (e.g. collaborations with BadboE, Vono Box, Bahama Soul Club, Flevans) created “Maharani Soul”, a jazzy Dub’n'Bass Tune based on a smooth reggae rhythm.

Hallo ihr raren Bloggleser,
falls es euch durch diverse social networks, real life news oder sonstigen Verbreitungsmöglichkeiten noch nicht aufgefallen ist, gibt es wieder viel zu klären.

Angefangen bei der “Audiophil meets Frohlocker”, der Partyreihe mit dem Kulturkollektiv aus Kaiserslautern in Kaiserslautern am 02.12.2011 im Kramladen. Zum Auftakt des Abends wird dort eine live Band Drumm n Bass zum besten geben: Musical Voyage.

Dann gehts weiter am 2. Dezemberwochenende in Hamburg mit einem Doublefeature:
Freitag, 09.12.11 im Sommersalon und Samstag 10.12.11 im Hoersaaal, totale Reeperbahnaction.

Als absolute Bonbon gibts in dieser stressigen Zeit die zweite Compilation aus dem Hause Galopp Records: Die Jockey Tunes Volume 2 steht in den Startlöcher und wird bald erwerbar sein.
Mit den Künstlern Odjbox, Klischée, Mash & Munkee. Dj Farrapo und nat. Frohlocker….

So liebe Freunde und Freundinnen der gepflegten Abendunterhaltung,
nach etwas Abstinens gibt’s das Bonbon für dieses Jahr nun Anfang Oktober. Eine Frohlocker Party von und mit Frohlocker. Einen Abend gepflegtes Clubben bei DrummBalkanSwingBassFolkStep Sounds. Wir sind nicht nur die ganze Zeit Faul am Strand gelegen, sondern haben neben dem ein oder anderen Ohrmuschelperlentauchen auch eine neue Digicompilation an Land gezogen, welche in Kürze auf dem Hauseigenen Label Galopp Records feilgeboten wird: „JOCKEY TUNES VOL.2“.
Um die Zeit des Wartens zu verkürzen kann auch bald ein neuer Mix auf dieser Seite aus dem Netz gefischt werden.
An Halloween werden wir dann der alten Welt einen Besuch abstatten und im Kult eine Geisterstunde abhalten um dann im Dezember mit den Jungs vom Kulturkollektiv das Vorweihnachtsprogramm einzuläuten.

Da bin ich doch grad im fratzenbuch über die Jungs aus Brig gestolpert und siehe da, die Katze hat nun einen Club! Perron 1 (Wikipedia verrät die Übersetzung in den Dialekt..;-))heisst dieser und hopefully werden wir den auch mal aus der Nähe sehen. Bis dahin viel Spaß da unten und viel Erfolg!!

desweiterm haben die wohl 3d plakate……G, das will ich auuuuuch.;-)
