This weekend was the first weekend that we experienced 80 degrees weather in Chicago(finally!) I live walking distance to the lake and spending time out there was amazing.

Soon we will all be hitting up North Ave beach or any other beaches along Lake Shore Drive. With that comes the desire to eliminate pale skin and start getting bronze to prep for the summer.

However, catching those UV rays are not good for you,as you all know-but you can still achieve that look without taking that risk to damage your skin. Tanning in the sun(or in the bed) can cause premature wrinkles, skin cancer, etc. While you are in your 20s,it is a good time to start thinking about protecting your skin. SPF sunblocks is always advisable, especiallyy for your face, which is the first to go as far as aging. Of course,we still want to look just a tad darker, especially in the summertime.

One product that I have used that works great that you can get at your local Ulta is a product called St. Tropez. I get the mousse bronzer one. Spray it on and it immediately works to get you that bronze skin glow that we so desired. I know, you must be thinking, "those bronzers can make you orange!" Some do,but I have used this particular product many many times and it looks really natural. However,it does work fast so soon as it hits your skin you have to quickly massage it in. I have had people approach me if I have gone on vacation or went to the beach all the time when I use this product. It's great!

So next time you are thinking that you want to achieve that glow for your next event,or just to have that bronze babe look walking down Rush St,I would skip the Tanning beds and get St. Tropez-it works believe me!
