Intel's recently rumored to unveil the newest generation of processors, Ivy Bridge, in April to come.Ivy Beridge processor for laptops and desktops, the promise to improve the performance of approximately 37 percent larger than Sandy Bridge processors.

Reported Itworld, Monday (02/01/2012), Ivy Bridge, the new CPU architecture using 22 nanometers, which makes measuring 30 percent smaller than current processors, which use 32-nanometer architecture.

Smaller chip means less power consumption, and more room for the integrated graphics chip. Ivy Bridge can support DirectX 11, Thunderbolt, and USB 3.0.

According to DigiTimes, Ivy Bridge, the first processor to be launched is a quad-core processors for desktops, the Core i7-Core processor 3370 also i53570, 3550, and 3440. Because the Ivy Bridge is backward-compatible (compatible with previous versions), desktop users should be able to find an upgrade path that has been available.

Ivy's first notebook to be sliding bridge is the Core i7, but it also Core i7-3920QM, 3820QM, and 3720QM.

How use laptops battery by typing

How use laptops battery by typing |We’ve seen countless Science Fiction movies portray all kinds of gadgets running on perfectly clean and renewable energy, and while we keep looking for more oil and wood to harvest, we can’t not consider the possibility that such revolutionary ideas will exist soon.

Although your battery will eventually die, proper care can put off the inevitable. Here's how to keep your laptop battery working for as long as possible. With luck, it could last until you need to replace that aging notebook.I've also included a few tips on keeping the battery going longer between charges, so you can work longer without AC power.

Designed for a smart phone, the packs were already a few months old at time of testing and none of the batteries made it to 100 percent. It is common to see lower than specified capacities and shelf life may have contributed to this.

Manufacturers tend to overrate their batteries; they know that very few customers would complain. In our test, the expected capacity loss was uniform over the 250 cycles. All sample batteries performed as expected.

Moving a step closer towards the tailoring of portable devices capable of being self-powered, the researchers claim to have for the very first time identified piezoelectric thin films that can turn mechanical pressure into electricity. According to the scientists, the findings combine the power of piezoelectrics and microchip manufacturing.

You need to think about when you want to save power by sending your laptop into Standby or Sleep mode, and when you want to hibernate it.There is a difference. XP’s Standby mode and Vista and Windows 7’s Sleep mode keep your PC on, using some power, but less of it than in normal use. Hibernate saves the PC’s state to the hard drive, and then shuts it off entirely so that the system uses no power.

New Laptop Acer AC700 Chromebook

New Laptop Acer AC700 Chromebook |The AC700 is Acer's first Chromebook launch. The device comes with an 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit LCD and features HDMI output for those who want to connect the device to an HDTV. The Chromebook weighs 2.95 pounds and comes in at just one-inch thick. Users can connect to the Web via Wi-Fi and work on the device for six hours on a single charge.

Acer AC700, the new model will sport an 11.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD screen and come with an Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor.

The launch means that the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook, recently launched in the US and the UK is not longer the only model on the market for those wanting to get their hands on the new offering from Google and it's partners.

If you’re interested in these Chromebooks you should be interested to hear that Acer has a brand new model coming to market in the form of the AC700. This Chromebook features an Intel Atom N570 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader and a 1.3 megapixel web cam. Unfortunately this model does not feature 3G connectivity but that’s made up for with its $349.99 price tag and the fact that it’s shipping before the end of the month.

The AC700 Spesification

Used Laptop Scanners Present student When looking for graduation presents for your college bound child, laptop scanners are a multi-use tool that can help them with their social networking and the ability to study more efficiently at school. Since there are many different types of laptop scanners that are useful to a college student, getting the right one is important to your son or daughter getting the most out of your gift.

In the modern world of academia, computer use is mandatory for many of the curriculums. From word processing applications to technical software, computers are used to more efficiently and accurately create projects and multi-media presentations for classes. Many social groups manage all their current events on computers and college administrations are actively pursuing paperless campuses. To get around the need of printing, many students are uploading their work to the email boxes of teachers when they need to turn in assignments.

Laptop OCR bundled with digital filing systems scan, capture and organize key data from business cards, documents and expense receipts into a secure electronic format. All of the scanned information is keyword searchable for quick retrieval. Consider how much simpler it would be to gather and electronically manage business expense data without retaining and submitting stacks of small receipts to your accounting department at month's end. Laptop scanner parsing technology pulls and organizes key identifiers like vendor, purchase date, purchase amount and item name from paper receipts while retaining electronic copies of those receipts for future reference.

Before you take the plunge and buy a scanner for laptop please give some thought to the next several pointers: (1) what will your scanner's main purpose be? (2) conduct a web search for suitable scanners; (3) take a close look at the scanners' capabilities; (4) verify that the company has a good reputation and see what other users' opinions have been; (5) determine the company's policies on shipping and refunds/exchanges.

Touch screen laptop PNF Duo Pen is an interesting device that brings some touchscreen tablet functionality to standard laptops. You attach the USB receiver onto your laptop's screen in a similar way to a webcam, which responds to the movements of the pen itself.

Instead of a clip for the receiver, however, you tape a small magnet onto the back of the screen, which allows the receiver to be attached quickly and firmly. Although this solution works, a clip would have been much more preferable. The outer shell of your laptop is left with an unsightly magnet attached to it this way, and it means you can't easily use one receiver with different laptops.

DUO support maximum 15.4” LCD screen size and equivalent magnitude of virtual space.

This enables direct or indirect mouse and writing function on monitor.

Only difference between two models is design, otherwise both display same function.

Bateray laptops Samsung NC110 What do you do when you want to catch the eye of people torn between the growing domination of tablets such as the Apple iPad 2 or Motorola Xoom and a much more user-friendly, but far less trendy, netbook? You bring out a netbook that's so cheap you can't possibly pass it by – and that's exactly what Samsung has done with its NC110.

It's a real foot in the door of the market at £236 – cheaper than the likes of the Asus Eee PC 1018P, the Packard Bell Dot SE or even the Acer Aspire One 522. In fact, it's the cheapest netbook around.

When we reviewed the original Samsung NC10, we didn’t find it to be the flashiest netbook. While the N110 didn’t get a drastic remodeling, the matte lid has been replaced with a black glossy coating, and though it looks sleeker, it’s a magnet for fingerprints. The system also takes on a softer look with rounded edges around the palm rests. The burgundy trim along the bottom edge of the chassis takes styling cues from other Samsung notebooks, like the R610, and offers a professional look.

After playing a video at full screen for 15 minutes, we measured 90 degrees Fahrenheit on the NC110's touchpad and 91 in the middle of the underside. The space between the G and H keys was a little hotter than we'd like (96 degrees). The vent area on the left side of the netbook reached 107 degrees--well above our acceptable threshold--but our lap never felt toasty.

Although the keys are a bit small, we like the look of the NC110's island-style layout. We experienced good travel and springy tactile feedback. All of the keys are placed properly, and we didn't notice any flex.

How Use New Mouse From HP To Wi-Fi HP today announced a new lineup of wireless accessories equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and HP Link-5 technology to promote mobility and ease of use. Products such as the company’s exclusive HP Wi-Fi® Mobile Mouse allow users to do more without the hassle of wires and with the assurance of extended battery life.

Any wireless mouse worth its salt ships with a receiver in the form of a dongle. HP's Wi-Fi mouse incredulously does not have any receiver of its own. That means, unless you want to use it with a Wi-Fi ready laptop, this mouse is of no worth to you. On the other hand, laptop users will appreciate the fact that this mouse frees up a USB port. The rodent has five programmable buttons and a four-way scroll for better navigation. Interestingly, the gadget offers a degree of control over its laser sensor, allowing it to adapt to the different surfaces. HP claims a battery of life up to nine months, which sounds impressive.

We'd guess HP would have mentioned a laser sensor if the mouse had one, so infrared seems more likely. And while it's tempting to believe the mouse would work on any Wi-Fi-capable device, the iPad, for example, doesn't support a Bluetooth mouse without jailbreaking.

As for who might use the WiFi Mobile Mouse, laptop owners seem like an obvious target. Bluetooth still isn't a universal laptop feature, and with an ever-growing number of external devices that need synching, travelers especially may appreciate a device that frees up a USB port.

In addition to the Wi-Fi mouse, HP is also releasing new PC accessories for its Link-5 technology, which allows users to connect as many as five HP-compatible computer accessories with one receiver using 2.4-GHz wireless technology. The new accessories include the HP Wireless Mini Keyboard, the Wireless Ultrathin Wireless Keyboard, the Wireless Elite v2 Keyboard, the Wireless Optical Comfort Mouse, the Wireless Laser Comfort Mouse and the Wireless Mobile Mouse. The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse will be available in June for $49.99. HP's Link-5 accessories range from $24.99 to $59.99.

Toshiba Portege R830 Picture was one of the first ultraportable laptops on the market to still offer a full feature-set despite its small dimensions and light weight. With the Portege R830 (PT321A-01L002), that tradition of fitting lots of stuff into a small frame continues, and not only that, it also features a full-voltage, Second Generation Intel Core i5 CPU. Indeed, there are many positives about this 13.3in, 1.4kg laptop, chief among them being exceptional performance, but there are also some negatives, such as the screen, which isn't the most vibrant we've seen.

Toshiba's older mobile business notebooks under their Tecra line weren't bad, but stylistically were well behind the times. Made chiefly of ABS plastic, these notebooks unfortunately didn't look like much of an improvement over, say, an HP G-series notebook, and they inherited some of the same problems that plagued Toshiba's consumer notebooks. The older Tecras are big and bulky, but since the success of the R700, Toshiba has taken the hint and completely rearchitected their 14" and 15.6" Tecra notebooks while updating the Portege. The result is the R800 series, split between the 14" Tecra R840, 15.6" Tecra R850, and 13.3" Portege R830.

Technology made to differentiate In order to pack such a powerful punch into such slim and light devices, Toshiba made use of various innovative technologies focusing on two areas: smart and efficient cooling solutions and chassis construction. An 'Airflow Cooling' system, co-developed by Intel® and Toshiba, in the R830 allowing Toshiba to integrate the latest Intel® Core™ family processors even in the device's slim casing while keeping the fan noise to a minimum. An ingeniously designed ventilation duct in combination with a cleverly arranged circuit board layout optimizes heat removal.

The R830 for business users with Windows 7 Professional ranges from $1,049 (Core i3-2310M, 4GB and a 500GB hard drive) to $1,649 (Core i7-2620M, 4GB and a 128GB SSD). The consumer version, the R835 series with Windows 7 Home Premium, ranges from $888.99 (Core i3-2310M, 4GB and 640GB hard drive) to $929.99 with a faster processor, the Core i5-2410M. Those are list or direct prices, but Best Buy is selling the Portege R835-P50x for $749.99. The OS (and a blue metallic lid) aren’t the only differences in the consumer versions. They also do not have an ExpressCard slot (which most users won’t miss), do not work with Toshiba’s docking stations and come with a one-year warranty rather than the standard three years of coverage on the R830–sacrifices most consumers will be living to live with to shave a few hundred bucks off the price.

Asus N53SN review

Asus N53SNReview The most capable processors from Intel drive diverse, thrilling adventures, high productivity and memorable moments. With all new 2nd Generation INTEL® CORE™ Processor inside, the N Series has the power and seamless capabilities to achieve and enjoy more with great efficiency and a smooth user experience.

The N53SN is all about multimedia performance and in order to get the best, it is packing some of the latest hardware. For starters, we have Intel's latest SandyBridge CPU, the Core i7 2630QM which is a quad core multithreaded CPU running at 2.0GHz with Turbo upto 2.9GHz. The other big addition is the new Nvidia GT 550M with Nvidia Optimus and 2GB GDDR3 dedicated memory. The rest of the system specifications include 4GB RAM, 750GB 7200rpm drive, full HD 15.6-inch screen and finally a BluRay combo drive.

The trackpad is comfortable and really sensitive, so you probably won't find your thumb cramping up during intense Web browsing sessions. Alas, the keyboard is less impressive. We're getting more and more used to seeing MacBook Pro-style isolated keyboards on new laptops, but the N53SN's keyboard design harks back to machines of yesteryear.

Besides the standard model name, N53SN-SX091V,( hp 8730p battery ) some online shops also use the label X5MSN-SX091V for this laptop. However, there aren't any differences. A nice inclusion is the coupon for a free sample of StarCraft II - Wings of Liberty. ( hp probook 4710s battery ) The recommended retail price for this bundle is 1299 euros. A recent price comparison shows that the laptop can be found for starting at 1229 euros on the Internet.
HP's Pavillion dm4x notebook Sale | Back in March, HP had unleashed their dv7 line of 15.6-inch notebooks that featured Intel’s new Sandy Bridge series processors. Today, HP has begun shipments of another series of notebooks with the latest Sandy Bridge chip. The HP Pavilion dm4x is a 14-inch notebook ready to ship now starting at $730.

The HP Pavilion dm4x is a 14-inch notebook ready to ship now starting at $730.The HP Pavilion dm4x is optimized for entertainment but will certainly handle a good work load with its new faster processor. It comes with either Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional and you can choose among three Intel Core i5 versions and one Intel Core i7 version. You have a choice of 6GB of RAM, which is upgraded for free from 4GB, or you can upgrade to 8GB of RAM. The graphics card is a 1GB Radeon HD 6470M.

Sadly, there is still no word of any backlit keyboard option (which I have a feeling might persuade some ‘MacBook Pro shoppers’ to pick the Pavilion series instead; I have more to elaborate on this matter at a later date).
Fortunately for the style conscious, there is anew ‘dark umber’ color option for the Pavilion dm4x, which is a fancy name for either metallic gold or beige, which brings your notebook to look ever-so-slightly closer, though not quite there yet, to the upscale black Envy 14 Beats Edition.

The HP Pavilion dm4x Spesification
• 14-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel
• Powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M dual-core processor
• 6GB RAM, & a 640GB hard drive
Samsung TX100 Tablet Price of $699 |Samsung has announced a new tablet series with 10.1-inch display, namely is Samsung TX100 Tablet. The TX100 tablet is designed that slim with just depth is 21.4mm and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium for Operating System. The device is a 10.1-inch multi touch LCD display screen with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel and it’s perfect size for the editing video online, watching video, viewing image, uploading file , reading or writing the email.

Retail site Amazon reportedly listed the hybrid PC earlier this Monday, only to be taken down hours later. Previous reports indicated a launch price of $699, but the now absent listing had the laptop for $649. It is possible that a model with higher SSD capacity could be offered for the $50 price premium. Another electronics retail site, ProVantage, is still listing the Samsung notebook as available for $662 as of this writing, but whether or not the notebook would actually ship without delay is another story.

For those who prefer physical keyboards for quickly typing notes or browsing the web, the TX100 features a full, 80/81-key keyboard tucked away under the display. The keyboard slides completely out creating a laptop-like interface that is coupled with the touch capabilities on the display promising the best of both worlds.
The TX100 runs Microsoft’s Windows 7 home premium operating system and offers full PC functionality - so keyboard shortcuts like 'Ctrl+C' to 'copy' will work. It has an Intel Atom processor, USB/HDMI connections via a dongle, together with microSD card slots and Bluetooth 3.0.

I also like the fact that Samsung has worked with Microsoft to provide an attractive interface. There are 31 apps currently available, including a book and magazine reader, which bodes well for a touch-based future where you can actually use the TX100 in tablet form without being dumped into a typical Windows application.

Sony Vaio VPCEE3Z0E/BQ Feature

Samsung Chrome OS Netbook Review | in the midst of all the Google Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7 news, everyone seems to have forgotten about Google Chrome OS that was supposed to be launched. There was even the Google Cr-48 notebook which was released but never saw the light of day in India. It was limited to a few users. Finally, there is some news on the upcoming line of Google OS netbooks from Acer and Samsung.

Codenamed “Alex,” ChromeNieuws.nl is reporting that the 12.1-inch Samsung netbook will sport a 1280x800 resolution screen, run on a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor with 2GB RAM, and carry a SSD of unknown capacity for storage. Connectivity options such as Bluetooth, 3G, and Wi-Fi should all be coming standard, as well as USB ports, card reader, and VGA-out. The source describes the system as being similar in specifications to the CR-48 Google netbook.

Google had promised that the first Chrome OS computers would ship in mid-year and might use its Google I/O conference May 10 to show the first hardware using a finished version of the OS. Developers recently noticed that Chrome OS is now considered stable and, in Google's terms, should therefore be near ready to ship.

Either way, shipments should begin around the middle of the year, since that is the period when all Chrome OS machines are set to pour in.

What remains is to see, besides pricing, is how open prospective buyers are to the idea of doing everything online instead of on their laptops' own HDDs/SSDs.

HP ultraportable 3105m Fusion launching may

HP ultraportable 3105m Fusion launching may | HP is readying to release an ultra-portable notebook for business professionals, NotebookItalia reported on Tuesday. The 11.6-inch HP 3105m is nearly identical in appearance to the existing, consumer-oriented Pavilion dm1z but uses slightly different specs under the skin. This mainly includes a 1.6GHz, dual-core AMD Fusion E-350 CPU.

The notebook, called the HP 3105m, will reportedly be powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core AMD Fusion E-350 with integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics. This should allow for smooth 1080p video streams from the rather diminutive 11.6-inch notebook, with an impressive 9.5 hours of continuous use on its 6-cell battery. Additionally, the source is also claiming that users will have the option to choose between Windows 7, FreeDOS, or Linux operating systems before purchasing the laptop.

A similar upgrade in software options was made for the HP 630 and HP 635 to differentiate from the HP Pavilion g Series. These models have in addition to the OS options for the 3105m, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop choices. Also the HP 630 doesn’t come with a rainbow selection of colors available for buyers to pick from, like the consumer focused HP Pavilion g Series offers.

Additionally, the chip containing the AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics core supports DirectX 11, 320GB hard drive and a six-cell battery used in 9.5 hours. There is also 2GB of RAM as well as the option of Windows 7, FreeDOS or Linux operating systems. HP 3105m’s estimated price is $ 449 .

Acer Iconia W500 tablet buy available

Acer Iconia W500 tablet buy available |Acer’s third tablet departs from the Iconia Tab A100 and A500 by virtue of its OS; rather than running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the Acer Iconia Tab W500 gets Windows 7 instead. Powered by an AMD C-50 processor and AMD Radeon HD6250 graphics, the 10.1-inch multitouch slate comes with an optional docking keyboard for easier text entry.

The 10.1-inch W500 carries a 1280x800 resolution display, a 1GHz AMD Fusion C-50 processor, integrated Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 2GB RAM, 32 GB SSD, front and rear facing cameras, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. The processor and OS alone should be enough to distinguish the tablet from the massive influx of Android-based systems currently in the market. In fact, the W500 is Acer’s first tablet powered by an AMD Fusion APU.

The Acer Iconia Tab W500 Tablet includes 3-cell battery and HDMI port with Clear.fi to share photos, videos and music to other devices. It has Dolby optimized audio, 32GB solid state disk etc. It weight 970 gram and its docking station keyboard weighs 610 gram. The Acer Iconia Tab W500 Tablet will be released at the price tag of 499 euros or £529 inc VAT in early April 2011.

If the price point provided by the aforementioned source proves to be the right one, then we'd dare to say that the Iconia W500 from Acer will manage to offers users a very good value, given the fact that it will be one of the most affordable such products available on the European market, not to mention the fact that's able to deliver a very good level of performance.

The PC however is awash with great games, including some of the finest titles ever created on any platform - Half Life 2, Diablo and Civilization to name but a few. And all these games will run on the Iconia Tab W500.
This makes the decision to side with Microsoft for the operating system compelling, although this isn't the only option out there. Apple's iOS isn't about to appear on a third party machine, but the imminent release of Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) for tablets must surely have tempted Acer as well. While it lacks the straight compatibility that Microsoft Windows OS offers, it does potentially make for a more suited OS for day-to-day tasks.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Feature

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Feature | Outside of the Blackberry PlayBook, the enterprise tablet market has been pretty thin. However, that might soon change, as Lenovo seems to be looking to get in on the action with a new business oriented tablet. According to a presentation leaked by the folks over at This is my next,

Lenovo could be planning on releasing a ThinkPad tablet in the near future.
All of that will be packed into a 1.6 pound body – quite light if you ask me. The leaked slide points to a target ship month of July for 9. For a tablet with so much going for it, it already sounds like a winner, but as most of us know, if it has a lousy battery, it’ll be dead on arrival. It will be slightly thicker and heavier than the iPad 2, but it rocks several hardware goodies we haven't seen in a Honeycomb tablet yet including USB 2.0 and a SD card slot.

The price for it will apparently be at $499 for the basic model, which leaves out a number of options, like the broadband connection or the dock. It should be released at some point between July and September.
Android tablets in the workplace are still very young and have virtually no presence in a climate so far dominated by the iPad. Lenovo may be the first to seriously test Apple's workplace position by relying both on enterprise-level software and the assumptions that go behind its brand name.

Here are the specs:
• 10.1 inch touch screen at 1280 X 800 resolution
• Weighs 1.6 pounds and is 0.55 inches thick (That's thicker and heavier than both the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom)
• Tegra 2 processor
• Optional "true pen" for writing on the tablet (similar to what HTC's Flyer Tablet will have)
• Optional keyboard case that turns the tablet into an Android-powered laptop
• Android Honeycomb 3.0
• Wifi and 3G connectivity with 16, 32, and 64 GB versions

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Price $2900 USD

Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X1 ultraportable laptop in Europe. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 laptop is boasts a 2.5GHz Core i5-2520M processor, a 13.3-inch (1366 × 768) Gorilla Glass screen, Intel HD integrated graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 160GB solid state drive with pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS.

Performance would also be an emphasis and would manage to fit a full-power, 2.5GHz Core i5 notebook chip instead of the low-voltage processors currently in Apple's line. Only one RAM slot would exist, but a singular 8GB stick would give it enough RAM to stay ahead of demand. Expansion would be modernized as well with a mix of USB 3.0, eSATA, an SDXC card reader, and a hybrid "Digital Display Port" that could output to either DisplayPort or HDMI.

The thin size wouldn't preclude a 10-hour battery life, although it's not certain that Lenovo is following the tougher testing standards Apple is using for its seven-hour figure.

Regarding battery, the successor of the X300 series provides up to 5 hours of operation on a single charge. The battery life can be extended to 10 hours with an additional slice unit.

Other notable features include a spill-resistant isle keyboard, Lenovo UltraNav trackpad and TrackPoint stick, Dolby Home Theater audio, 3G mobile broadband, USB 3.0, DisplayPort connector, and a fingerprint reader.
The X1 is already listed on the Swiss retailer for the equivalent of about $2900 USD, although it will almost assuredly retail for less when officially released in the U.S. If the May launch schedule holds true, stay tuned for official announcements from Lenovo regarding the X1 release in the coming weeks.

Thinkpad x1 features
• An Intel i5 – 2520M Processor with 2.53GHz of speed
• 160GB SSD
• 13.3 inch Gorilla Glass Display with 1366 x 768 resolution
• 8GB of DDR3 RAM
• SDXC Card reader and much more

Asus P31F-RO108X Review

Asus P31F-RO108X Review | We have here the latest addition to Asus' business line-up in review with the P31F-RO108X. The Asus U36JC clearly represents the consumer counterpart from which the P31F took a few cues and even improved upon somewhat. The 13.3" display has a resolutions 1366 x 768 pixels, but also offers a matte surface. The chassis has been modified a bit and isn't quite as slim and light. But its still capable of showing its face with a weight of 1.9 kilograms.

Someone has bought the model i just mentioned, put up some global reviews and said he would put up some pictures soon. The screen is matte, thats for sure and the battery seems to do at least as good as the u36jc. Dimensionwise it is a little bit thicker and heavier than the u36jc, but im guessing this benefits the p31 in terms of heat production.

Im considering to buy this P31J, but right now im wondering if its really worth the money, as hardware-wise you dont get alot of bang for buck and the value(for instance the samsung sf310 gives you an additional optical drive and a Nvidia 310M 1GB for 100 euro's, about 130 american dollars, less) would have to come from build quality and battery life for me.
Slim and stylish design combines the P31 series notebooks, with an average thickness of of less than 1 inch smart figure, can easily put it in your backpack or briefcase, take it go! Additionally, attractive specifications and ASUS exclusive Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) cutting-edge technology, ASUS P31 series offers powerful performance and long battery life, ultra-portable notebook computer to create a new benchmark.
Toshiba Qosmio T851 Japan today unveiled its new and 3D glasses free Notebook that can simultaneously display 3D and 2D content in separate windows in a single screen. dubbed Toshiba “dynabook Qosmio T851/D8CR” Notebook claimed to be the first Glasses free 3D notebook in the world that is able to perform both 3D and 2D content at the same time on one screen.

If you’re wondering how their 3D technology works, it makes use of the integrated webcam on the notebook to track the user’s face with their to ensure that the glasses-free 3D images (that are split apart) are delivered correctly to each eye. The laptop also features a SpursEngine that is a dedicated image processor that can convert images from 2D to 3D in real time so users can even watch their favorite 2D terrestrial, BS and 110 CS digital broadcasts in 3D. Toshiba’s “3D Window” is the technology that allows both 2D and 3D content to be displayed at once; again it makes use of their face tracking technology all made possible with the onboard webcam.

Other specs include 8GB ddr3 RAM, 1x USB 3.0 port, 3x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, mini D-Sub15 pin, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet, 1 mega pixel camera, headphone, microphone jack and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. It is already on sale in Japan for about 2700 dollars.

The machine is also able to turn 2D video into 3D video if the user wants. The heart of the machine is an Intel Core i5 processor and graphics is handled by the GeForce GT 540M GPU. The screen is 15.6-inches wide and it has a full 1080p HD resolution. The Os is windows 7 Home Premium. It has a Blu-ray player, 750GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM. Pricing hasn’t been announced and it will launch officially in July.

The only worry is if the 3D will work under low-light condition since it’s dependent on the webcam that will fail to track the user’s face under low-light condition.

Toshiba Satellite L655-S5065 Feature

Toshiba Satellite L655-S5065 Feature Offering a redesigned chassis with a sleeker body, the nicely affordable Toshiba Satellite L655-S5065 notebook PC makes it easy to handle computing essentials at home, school or work--from surfing the web and downloading video to managing household finances or studying for finals. And its high-gloss Fusion Finish in Helios Gray will be sure to raise a few eyebrows while you're on the go.

The 15.6-inch widescreen has decent viewing angles, but I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than that of the HP dv6-6013cl and Acer AS5742-6475. Its 1,366-by-768 resolution is par for the course as far as low-cost laptops go. As I'm typing away on the full size keyboard, the keys seem as if they're shifting out of place. They're mushier than those of the HP dv6-6013cl and Acer AS5742-6475, ideal for those who hit keys too hard when they type.

This larger screen is great for doing more things at once, handling business at home or in the field, watching movies or playing online RPG games. High-performance processor power, plus lots of memory and storage, make it a strong all-around performer for students, small-business owners, families and light gamers
Fujitsu’s Lifebook X2 Review was revealed by Fujitsu and I bet we were blown away by it.The concept by Fujitsu is the highly portable and an inadequate laptop by which the users will be able to work on an ultra widescreen display palm-based device and when you will open the device you will get a perfect notebook you want.

Fujitsu Lifebook X2 laptop amazing thinness makes you startled and the key important thing about the laptop is about its two orientations with its four folds. The folds into quarter lead some exciting features, where in the Fujitsu Lifebook X2 halfway and you have sort of an ultra widescreen palm top and when you choose to unfold it completely, you will get a full sized net book

The design features a full QWERTY keyboard that can be used when the notebook is folded out in full, as well as a half-folded option with an onscreen keyboard, pictured above.

According to Fujistu, the Lifebook X2 has something very special from other lifebook notebooks as well as other laptops. The first features is that this machine can be fold twice, if you open the x2 halfway, you will be able to get a widescreen display palm only machine, and when you open your x2 completely, you will be able to get a full sized netbook.

We has a picture of the Fujistu lifebook x2, and we just attached it in this post, you can take a look at it.The bad thing is that we are failed to get more pictures of the Fujistu X2 netbook, but we will post more when we are able to access to more pictures.

The Acer Aspire 5738PG Touch Screen laptop Price list £474.99

The Acer Aspire 5738PG Touch Screen laptop Price list £474.99 comes with a 15.6 inch touch screen and enough computing power to smoothly run high-graphic games and heavy applications.

The Windows 7 based device comes loaded with a Intel Core i3 350M with a processor speed of 2.26GHz which is complemented with a 4GB DDR3 RAM. Acer has been generous with the data storage, offering 320 GBs of hard drive on the laptop. The Aspire 5738PG features the NVIDIA GeForce GT 310M graphics card for graphic rich gaming.

Build quality is reasonably good, but the change to touch interaction does raise one issue that wasn't a real problem previously. Since this chassis hasn't been designed specifically with touch interaction in mind, the hinge-action on the screen isn't sturdy enough to prevent it wobbling after tapping it. This is very annoying and underlines the impression that the 5738PG's touch implementation is something of an afterthought.

We'll return to such concerns later, but first a tour of machine reveals the large, blue-backlit power button that's become a staple of Aspire laptops, below which are physical toggle buttons for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (though this particular laptop doesn't actually have a Bluetooth card inside) and Acer's own backup solution.
The vast 320GB hard drive will give you more than enough room to install your games and save your movies, songs and photos, while the integrated webcam and wireless technology will help you share them with your friends at home or on the move.

For the ultimate in multimedia entertainment and technology at your finger tips, choose the Acer Aspire 5738.
MSI has announced their two Sandy Bridge powered laptops namely MSI FX620DX and FX420 has the better performance and with multimedia experience. The both models has sheathed in non-peeling raised texture seal coating that prevent from scratching and smudging, and have platinum trim around the speakers and body. The MSI yet not announced both laptop’s release date and price information yet

The smaller MSI FX420 comes in a smaller package, but you don’t need to give up much power for the added portability. The FX420 comes with a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge processor, up to 750GB storage, Blu-Ray and uses an AMD Radeon HD 6470M with 1GB DDR3 video RAM. The 14″ display has a 1366×768 resolution. There is also a 1.3MP webcam and Bluetooth connectivity.

The MSI FX620DX is powered by a 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM or a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor, a 4GB DDR3 memory, a 750GB hard drive, a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) or HD (1366×768) LED backlight display, a DVD burner or an optional Blu-ray drive, an nVidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card (1GB DDR3 VRAM) and an HD webcam.
On the hardware side, the laptops will sport “non-peeling raised texture seal coating” for scratch and smudge resistance with chrome, blue lights around the keyboard and buttons. Users can also expect the Eco Engine and GPU Boost software, which should improve battery life and overclock the GPU during certain scenarios, respectively.
