Meet the Pursleys.  Jamie is a beautiful, radiant mother, and Jake is a proud daddy. And 2-month old Liam adds a big helping of chubby cheeked-ness that can't be matched. Their little world is simply picture-perfect.  The story that lies behind the images, however, is one that is not so simple. You see, Liam is the Pursley's 2nd child; their 2nd son.  He

I can't imagine not having her with us; she has already brought so much joy and new wonder to our lives. This is her birth story. After trying almost everything in the book to induce labor, I think Justin and I finally came to the conclusion that Ellie had

Justin, with his irresistible charm and persuasion, convinced me to get all dressed up and head outside so he could do a maternity shoot for me. Needless to say, we're both very used to being strictly behind the camera, so it took a bit to get used to! However, once I loosened up ( and he jumped in for a few shots with me! ) we had a blast and I think they turned out beautifully! I'm so

Oh boy, have I got something fun for you guys today. Sweet little Miss Elise turned one this month, so we celebrated her first year by handing over a tiny cake for her little hands to destroy :-)  She was very dainty about it, however, and exclaimed, "Mmm!" every time she got a taste of frosting. After the messy fun, we plopped her into a fun bubble bath to clean off! She really enjoyed

What do you get when you mix a beach wedding with hours of unrelenting thunderstorms? Stress. However, Caroline & Billy handled all of these "panic-moments" with such grace & calm that I could only dream of. They took everything in stride & always kept in mind that hey, it's their wedding day & they get to marry their best friend. It was so refreshing to see that kind of
