Most gamers do not always think about other players, especially if they are only doing campaigns or single player games. But have you ever watched another gamer play? Maybe had a teammate who wasn?t pulling their weight (not just one game, but repeatedly)? I was watching some people play on a kiosk at Best Buy, when they messed up. It wasn?t a small mess up, like missed one note or only got one of the coins instead of two. It was a HUGE mess up. Their reaction was ?Stupid controller, doesn?t work correctly.? The recent mod to Left 4 Dead is one that lets you play as a nude Zoey - not sure why she still has half a shirt on, but you get the point. As soon as I sat down with one of the Naughty Dog guys who was about to give me a demo of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, I told him how skeptical I was of the new stealth modes they added to this sequel. I told him how much I enjoyed the run-and-gun gameplay of Uncharted , but I am not a big fan of stealth games. He told me not to worry, that I could choose when to use stealth and when to just go balls-to-the-wall and shoot everything in my path. Then he hit start at the menu and let me see for myself.

Finally the doors to the demo theater that is built to resemble the Abbey Road recording studios swing open and the doorman signals to let us in. Once inside we walking into a large room with a huge stage in front of us and several rows of theater chairs. We sit down and there is a buzz of excitement and curiosity. There is Beatles music playing in the background when suddenly the light dim and the curtain on the large stage in front of begins to part. Everyone in the room is speechless as we are introduced to the Beatles Rock Band!
