Although at times it threatens to lose its way amongst a tick box approach to balance and touch screen controls, good design and interesting characters make this an essential new chapter in the Uncharted series. While I'm more than happy with Uncharted 3, Golden Abyss is actually more like the game I was hoping that it would be.

Asphalt: Injection brings the series to the new PS Vita and goes head to head with Ridge Racer once again. This time it could be the favourite.

With the Vita being available already in Japan, and having read various import reviews I wasn't expecting to be all that surprised by the arrival of Sony's new handheld console on my home shores. While I was still excited to get my hands on the US/European PS Vita a little bit before launch I thought I knew what to expect.
