I've still got quite a stack of reviews here for Sony's PlayStation Vita. FIFA Soccer, Modnation Racers: Road Trip, Plants Vs. Zombies, and Hustle Kings will all be in heavy rotation, whether I'm running errands, laying in bed, or sitting on the can this weekend.

Being a man with a money flow problem (i.e. broke, dood) and a game collector, I've grown a small but nice collection of PSP games. I don't have all of the big guns for the platform, but I've found myself with a nice little stash over the years it's been around. And, since the Vita is on store shelves in all its shiny glory, it's a great time to go back and look at the PSP's lifespan… and what sucked about it. Read more on GameRevolution.com

It was revealed this week that Mass Effect 3 would receive Day One DLC in the form of... well, let's not spoil it. It got me thinking, video games are always trying bilk us for more cash!

There's so much to choose from! Online passes, preorder exclusive DLC, day-1 DLC, DLC.... The list goes on, but it doesn't matter what we think! We are the entitled little princesses! We get everything for free! Is game journalism the biggest ripoff in this industry? We need to know what you think!

When the word “street” follows the name of any title, goofy is a word that comes to mind. Things like flaming balls, unlimited turbo, super awesome 360 big-trick, and much more are available in many “street” games. This time around FIFA Street is focusing on the real aspects of street futbol. It’s about the showmanship and individual skills each player has.

One of my favorite features in Sony's new handheld is the ability to customize each page of your PlayStation Vita's home screen. That's what Asphalt: Injection should really be called. Let's waste no time in laying out exactly what's wrong with Gameloft's cheap launch title shovelware. From the floaty gameplay, to the Hot-Wheels-esque graphics, to the presentation, Asphalt: Injection smacks of laziness and line-item budgeting.

	What's your favorite fuzzy-ball-hitting joke?
I'm not big on sports games, but every once in a great while I need to whet my whistle and play something a little… real. You can only slay dragons, fight demons, and drop blocks for so long before you find yourself desiring a taste of reality, even if it's in virtual form. It's a way of staying grounded, I suppose. And what better way to stay grounded than playing a tennis game, especially when the first underlying thought is "Awesome, another round o' Pong?"

Don't let the bad lie get to you.
Some professional reviewers slip in their arguments due to their preconceived notions and lack of skill. One review in particular, whose author shall remain nameless (but I'm sure you can figure it out), essentially complains that Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational is too difficult and that one mistimed shot can send you down the scoreboard in seconds. He claims that the game should fit its cutesy aesthetic and that the progression is too harsh because it solely focuses on achieving first place. To that, I only have one word: nonsense.

	Till (star)dust do us part.
Super Stardust HD was the first game on the PlayStation 3 to feature trophy support. For that reason alone, it’ll always have a place in the hearts of the PlayStation community. But aside from that, it’s also one of the best twin-stick shooters available on PSN, even all these years later. A PSP version was far less successful, due to using the face buttons (*shudder*) as a replacement for the second analog stick. Thankfully, with the Vita's second teensy-weensy analog stick, the third time is a charm for Super Stardust Delta.

Don't let this sneak under your radar.
The small pocket of hardcore Shinbido fans will want my head for saying this, but the simple fact is that there are a lot of people out there who won't be able to get past the initial stages of Shinbido 2: Revenge of Zen. They'll simply lack the patience required to get used to the camera and controls. Good as the game is, it lacks that extra polish to sway regular gamers to its side. In a title where careful movements can be the difference between life and death, even the slightest, occasional lack of precision can and will be magnified. Those who manage to get past that inital hump and learn the system, however, will be met by a great stealth game found only on the Vita.

We all scream for ice cream.
The moment that the ice cream truck music began playing in the Twisted Metal reveal trailer at E3 2010, hundreds of thousands immediately identified what it was. It’s not often that a game series in such an unpopulated genre is able to substantiate itself in the industry, but Twisted Metal surely has. Many people identify it with Sweet Tooth who is one of the most iconic gaming characters, but most people distinguish it by its highly enjoyable gameplay and great multiplayer support. The latest entry in the series carries the torch successfully by incorporating most of what has made the franchise strong, with only a few road bumps keeping it from being the killer blockbuster that Twisted Metal: Black was.

With Batman gone into hiatus, the city of Gotham has run amuck with wannabe fanboys and deadly klepto clowns ravaging the city. You take on the mantle of either the cape or the clown in this new wacky multiplayer FPS befitting its title. It takes all your preconceived ideas of a Batman game and throws it out the crazy window. In fact, this is a game about Batman without the "Bat" or any of the usual suspect of characters or cast in the Batman universe.

	A history of fighting.
While we have Super Smash Bros., Marvel vs. Capcom, and Street Fighter X Tekken to settle many nerd debates, we haven't yet had a game to answer the question, “Could William Wallace impale Vlad the Impaler?” Deadliest Warrior: Legends sets out to help us resolve those important, pseudo-educational questions in the form of an arena-styled fighting game. While the first title had fighters ranging from such diverse backgrounds such as Spartan, Pirate, or Samurai, its sequel ups the ante by letting you play as historical Legends (hence the title, see what they did?) like Joan of Arc or Alexander the Great. You can even play as Shaka Zulu.

Packaged with the First Edition Bundle for PlayStation Vita, Little Deviants is an expected mini-game collection that showcases the unique features of the handheld—the front and rear touch panels, the camera, the Sixaxis accelerometers, and even the built-in microphone. In that regard, Little Deviants serves better as an interactive guide for the Vita than a $30 video game. Anyone who follows gaming news closely would not be surprised by this in the slightest, as Sony closed the game's developer bigBIG Studios in mid-January, before Little Deviants even came out. The biggest crossover you can fit in your pocket.
Capcom has certainly been eager to get its popular fighting franchise reiterated and ported on as many consoles as it can. With a 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV out last year and an upcoming port for Street Fighter X Tekken on the Vita, it's not that surprising to see Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 make the portable leap as well. What is surprising, however, is just how seamless the transition has been. SSF4-3D (yeesh) was a great port that even added some features while it took a hit in some graphical areas. UMvC3-V (double yeesh) manages to do the same, but with such a minor cut in visuals that only the nitpicky will notice.

Euphoria flickers your mind away. Two-toned squares vibrate and descend with a gravity matched by the pulse of an electronic harmony. Colors bounce off each other in psychedelic pitch, a rhythmic static that quivers against your eardrums. Their magnetic vibrations, with every glint that radiates out like the beams of a strobe light, stimulate the wonders of your deepest dreams. Soon the squares begin to dissipate, fading into the symphonic ether, and suddenly, the only resonance you can hear is the echo of the trance. Your senses become the energy around you, within you, without you. There, in that moment, you are truly free.
