Codemasters has announced the most insanely expensive special-edition video game ever: GRID 2: Mono Edition, which comes with a supercar and costs �125,000 (nearly $189,000).

The car is a BAC Mono. I know very little about cars beyond the facts that they have four wheels and can go very fast, so here's what Codemasters has to say about it: "The BAC Mono is a British manufactured, road-legal, ultra-high performance supercar which stars in the game. Created from high-strength carbon fibre, the BAC Mono is an unrivalled example of light-weight performance engineering and its 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant will propel its driver from 0-60 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds."

There is only one of this absurd special edition available, and it also comes with a PS3, a copy of the game, a day at the BAC factory to customise the supercar and full "driver race wear" - the natty jumpsuit above. It's got the Guinness World Record for most expensive video game ever.

Interesting note: BAC Mono Roadsters on their own cost �74,950 (thanks Eurogamer for that fact), though you have to wait a long time to get ahold of them and they're in extremely short supply. Plus, you don't get that figure-hugging race suit. Or a PS3.

Will someone buy it? People are insane, so almost certainly yes. If you're tempted, it's available for pre-order now.

With the estimated pricing of the new Xbox One to be around $350, how much do you estimate the new PS4 game console to cost?

And when do you guess the start of pre-ordering for both systems will come into effect?

E3 is on June the 11-13, will Sony and Microsoft give us the actual pricing by then?
Or will another informational "event" for both companies come to play a couple months before release?

Heavy Weapon is now getting ready for actual release sometime before July 2013.

For those who haven't checked out the preview, an updated 15-page preview can be seen here:

The preview has also been updated with freshly cleaned up inks for all 15 pages if anyone who saw the early version wants a refresher. These are still non-final pages since the grayscale shading still needs to be added, and professional lettering is being added as well. It's only going to get better!

ABOUT THE BOOK

PLOT SUMMARY:
Vietnam veteran, and former member of an elite Special Forces group, John Magnum, left the military due to the tragic loss of his entire battalion while under his command. Since then, he has been consumed with guilt over the deaths of his men. He just wants to live a normal life and forget his violent past...

...But now, his former Commanding Officer, Colonel Deckard, has tracked him down to inform him that a small group of POWs, captured during the war 10 years ago, have been found, and are being used as slave labor for a drug cartel in Costa Rica. Deckard asks Magnum to accompany him as an escort on a Top Secret mission to rescue the POWs, but Magnum refuses...

It's not his battle anymore.

Only a few days later, Magnum is approached by his old friend Richter, the only survivor of Magnum's lost battalion. Richter presents Magnum with a surprising video tape revealing that Deckard and his crew have been captured, and are being tortured then killed one-by-one at the hands of a ruthless drug lord. Before the tape ends, Colonel Deckard makes a plea for help from Magnum.

I loved the hell out of my Nes and Snes, and it took me awhile to get into the PlayStation (took 2 consoles to get into it) But for me the most memorable console generation would have the be the DC/PS2/X-box era. I just remember seeing Sonic Generations and thinking "holly crap!" I was amazed by the graphics and the gameplay, I fell in love with Bust a Move 4 (I believe) then I remember seeing some shots of Luigi's mansion and was pretty amazed with the lighting or seeing Dead or Alive 2, Soul Calibur and Gran Turismo 3 (on there respective consoles). It's hard to believe so much time has past but I just can't seem to find that utter amazement in consoles any more.

What's yours?

It is in like new condition and includes everything it originally came with (case, game, and health risk paper/manual) plus the bonus codes for a digital strategy map, survivor pack and fashion victim pack have not been used. This is not the Rigamortis Edition but the first run special edition's which included different artwork and bonus content via one time use codes. Here is what the codes are:

Hi. I'm trying to write a basic android app for bus schedules.
Basically, I go to school in a small town, and there is only an iphone app for the bus schedules.

I want to write a basic app, basically with a menu selecting location and destination, and then time of departure.
If I learn enough, I'll like to put a map, and have it decide which stop to use.

I don't have much CS experience, as I am majoring in MechE/Aerospace, but last semester I took a matlab class.

What is the best way to learn how to write basic apps? I've heard of stuff like infinite monkeys and buzz touch, but I don't know if that's the best thing to use.
From what I understand, I'll have to learn how to use eclipse(java).

Have several electronic gadgets and items I'd like to add to my available and want list,
but there seems to be no category among the four already set in place -- Games, Music, Movies and Books.

Having seen various amounts of Electronic items and gadgets being sold/traded on here (and in the Electronics forum), thought there should also
be a category in our available list and also items of this nature that we would want in our wanted list..

Would also be great to have an "Others" category for those items that do not actually fit in any category or that you are unsure of where they belong.

I spend time checking my mini-matches, and it would be great to add this category to our lists and the another job for the Name Tribunal to undertake.
