3. Then Developer tab will be shown like in the picture bellow. click on it. and some submenus will be shown in the ribbon. And you must make the slide like picture bellow. do with your creativity! :P

5. After you complete steps above, double click on commandbutton1. and a Visual basic will be opened

6. Now all you need is only to give them scripts, i only tell you the simple one :p

Ahh finally i made it, ok The E With Red line means: it is a First string on your guitar (count from bellow on your guitar). The B with the orange line means: That is The second string on your Guitar, And so on.

How to: Create One Click Shutdown Shortcut

First, create shortcut on your desktop by right clicking on the desktop, choosing new, and then choosing shortcut.

The MSI GX660R is the Taiwanese company's latest gaming machine and it's a great laptop that boasts serious performance and a host of useful features at a competitive price.

Build quality is excellent, and the tough materials make this a laptop that will survive regular travel. At 3.5kg, it's surprisingly light for a gaming laptop, and a decent battery life added to that makes this a surprisingly portable option.

The MSI GX660R's 15.6-inch screen – boasting a full high definition 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution – is both highly detailed and bright. Test images proved crisp and clear, and Blu-rays (played on the laptop's integrated Blu-ray optical drive) looked fantastic.

As expected, the quad-core Intel Core i7 processor (combined with 8192MB of DDR3 memory) provides formidable everyday performance, and you'll have no problems running multimedia heavy applications such as music or HD video editing software when not gaming.

A strikingly designed, high-powered 3D laptop, but it's not without some notable flaws

The first thing that strikes you as you unpack the Asus G53Jw is its stunning design. As with the larger 17.3-inch Asus G73, the G53Jw's chassis has been inspired by the F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Bomber and its aggressively sharp lines and matt finish create a truly unique, high-end look that you won't find anywhere outside of Asus' gaming range.
Thanks to the matt finish, this also is not a laptop that's easy to scuff or scratch, adding resilience far too often missing from the many glossy machines found elsewhere in the market.

Continuing the Stealth-inspired look, huge exhausts on the rear of the Asus G53Jw's chassis are in place to keep the laptop feeling comfortably cool to the touch at all times. Air is drawn in through vents on the base of the chassis and is then blown over the powerful internal components and expelled away from you at the rear of the laptop as you work.
The whole system works extremely well, with the fans running near silently at all times and keeping the Asus G53Jw cool and comfortable to work with on your lap for long periods of time.
Despite being built around a 15.6-inch screen, rather than the more cinematic 17.3-inch panel seen on such rivals as the HP Envy 17 3D, the chunky dimensions of the Asus G53Jw's chassis make this one of the largest and heaviest 15.6-inch laptops we've seen.
Weighing 3.8kg, this is not a laptop that you'll want to carry very far and it's far better suited to use at home on your desk. This limited mobility is further illustrated by the poor battery life. We were able to keep working for just 75 minutes with brightness set at 50 per cent.
A benefit of the somewhat heavyweight chassis of the Asus G53Jw, however, is the extra space that it provides for the user interface. The large isolated-style, chiclet keyboard uses full-size keys to great effect and is a pleasure to work with.

Thanks to the slightly angled design of the Asus G53Jw, the keyboard slants ever so slightly towards you as you type, making it comfortable to place your hands on the palm rest and get to work. The board is also backlit and so is easy to work with in low light conditions.
Our only minor complaint is that the keys feel a little spongy and we'd have preferred a sharper, more tactile amount of feedback.
Unfortunately, while the large touchpad is just as comfortable to use as the keyboard, the Asus G53Jw's mouse buttons are far less usable. Despite their large size and comfortable matt finish, both buttons require an unusually firm amount of pressure to register, responding with a loud click when they're activated.
Although this is not enough of a problem to render the keys unusable, it does make them slower to access than we'd have liked and causes unnecessary delays when working, as you pause to fully depress the buttons.
Due to the large vents at the rear of the chassis, all ports on the Asus G53Jw are placed on the right and left-hand sides. While this of course makes them more accessible, it can lead to a slightly untidy appearance, with cables spewing from the sides of the laptop, rather than tucked away neatly at the rear.
On the right-hand side is a Gigabit Ethernet port, for the fastest possible wired network connections, alongside an analogue VGA port and a digital HDMI port, for connecting the Asus G53Jw to a larger external monitor, projector or HDTV.

There are also two USB ports positioned near the front of the chassis, for connecting external peripherals, with one of the ports providing USB 3.0 compatibility for high-speed data transfers to external storage devices. This is a pleasing addition, since there's no eSATA port in place on the Asus G53Jw.
The left-hand side of the Asus G53Jw is a more sparse affair, with just two USB ports – again placed near the front of the chassis for easy access – alongside the integrated, tray-loading Blu-ray optical drive.
The only other extras to be found on the G53Jw are an 8-in-1 card reader at the front of the chassis, for sharing files with compatible external devices, such as your digital camera or camcorder, and a compact webcam above the screen for taking basic snapshots, recording live video and using with online video messaging software.
Internal components are far more comprehensive, and make the Asus G53Jw one of the best-equipped laptops you can currently buy. You can get the G53Jw with a choice of dual or quad-core Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, and the model we tested was powered by a quad-core Core i7-740QM CPU running at 1.73GHz.
Backed by a stunning 8GB of high-speed DDR3 memory, even the most demanding users won't be left wanting for speed. The same can be said for storage, with a capacious 640GB of hard disk storage in place.
Graphics are equally capable, with a cutting-edge Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics card and 1.5GB of dedicated, high-speed video memory in place.
Providing full support for the Asus G53Jw's 3D graphics via Nvidia's 3D Vision technology, as well as supporting the latest DirectX 11 games, the Asus G53Jw is again set up to deliver the best possible performance for the price, and provide a certain degree of future-proofing for gamers and home workers alike.

MSI GX660R review (Gaming laptop)

Not only a great gaming rig, but one of the first to offer a decent dedicated speaker system and a number of innovative features

MSI produces a broad variety of laptops, from award winning netbooks, such as the Wind U160, right up to powerhouse gaming laptops, such as the GX660R on test here.

Performance-wise, the GX660R is a monster. Everyday applications are blitzed by the quad-core Intel Core i7-720QM processor, while the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics card offers comprehensive performance for running the latest games at full whack.

Where the GX660R really impressed us was the carefully implemented designs and impressive feature list, with many inspired by the work MSI does with professional gaming team it sponsors, Fnatic.

A new look has been implemented for the GX660R, which you'll either love or hate, and embedded in the chassis are the high-end Dynaudio speakers, which you may recognise as the same manufacturer that built the sound system in your Bugatti Veyron (or not, of course).

All-in-all the GX660R is a great machine, with the only blemish on the copybook being the slightly suspect keyboard, which is disappointingly unresponsive and rattly.

The Intel Core i5 580M processor may not be quite as powerful as the Acer Aspire Ethos 8943G and Samsung RF710-S03UK's Core i7 CPUs, but is still capable of multi-tasking with resource-heavy software.

The dedicated ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics card produced good graphical performance and is ideal for intensive photo and video editing software, and HP has even bundled a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements to start you off.

Flawed touchpad

The Envy has a firm and highly usable isolation-style keyboard, but we found ourselves frustrated by the touchpad with its integrated mouse buttons. Pushing the corners of the pad to simulate left and right mouse button clicks is a stiff and irritating experience.

The HP's minimalist, all-metallic chassis is solid, although, at 3.7kg, it's not one to carry on a long journey. The 123-minute battery life narrowly beats the Asus N73J, but falls behind some other big-screen laptops.

A whopping 1.5TB of storage beats most other media centre laptops and should keep you going for the life of the laptop, while the Blu-ray drive can be used to watch films.

Plenty of ports are available, including a DisplayPort in addition to VGA and HDMI connections. Four USB ports, including a speedy USB 3.0 option, can be used to connect peripherals.

The Envy 17 is a fantastic 3D-ready media machine with incredible graphics and display. 3D compatibility may not match Nvidia's 3D Vision at present, but we expect the gap to quickly narrow.

Alienware M11x review (Gaming laptop)

Alienware is one of the biggest manufacturers of gaming laptops and has gone from strength to strength since its acquisition by Dell. The M11x is the smallest laptop in the company's range and has just been updated with a powerful new Intel Sandy Bridge processor for playing the latest titles.

With their sharp edges and glowing lights, Alienware laptops look very distinctive. We personally like the futuristic design, which gives the M11x the appearance of a miniature alien craft, but it won't suit all tastes.

Most gaming laptops are hefty beasts, but this one weighs just 2kg and the solid chassis measures just 32mm at its thickest point. It's still a tough build, with a thick rubberised lid and tough hinges. If you need a portable gaming machine to take around a friend's house or keep you entertained on trips, this really is a fantastic option.

In order to keep the chassis slender, Alienware has unfortunately left out a DVD drive. If you want to install games from a physical disc, you'll need to attach an external drive, or else you can download games from the internet, using services such as Steam.

However, the 250GB hard drive offers limited space, especially if you plan on carrying music and films on the laptop as well as games.

Sandy Bridge

While the previous M11x had an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which would struggle to run some of today's demanding games, this update features Intel's latest Sandy Bridge technology.

We were impressed by the high frame rates when playing resource-crushing action and driving games, although the internal fans do get loud at times. Still, you can always drown that out with the sound of gunfire.

Games also look amazing, with the Nvidia GT 540M graphics card coping admirably even on high detail levels.

The graphics card deactivates automatically when you don't need it to preserve battery life. We managed two hours of blasting action on battery power, which increased to just over four hours when watching video or running basic applications.

The 11.6-inch display is rather compact for a gaming machine, but the sharp 1366 x 768-pixel resolution makes it a moot point. Images are crisp, clear and colourful, and you'll be blown away playing games such as Crysis 2.

Usability is another important aspect of any gaming laptop. The keyboard is understandably condensed, but makes the most of its limited space, and a soft blue backlight illuminates each key for late-night sessions. However, those with chunky fingers might struggle, especially with strategy titles and other games using lots of keyboard commands.

There's a surprising range of ports packed into the compact chassis, including a mini-Firewire connection, three USB ports featuring Sleep and Charge technology, and DisplayPort and HDMI ports for attaching external monitors. A 4-in-1 memory card reader can be used to grab your media straight from portable devices.

If you're serious about gaming and need an entertainment machine to take on the road whenever you want, the Alienware M11x is a great solution. With Sandy Bridge performance, a sharp screen and surprising portability, there's lots to like about this tiny powerhouse.

Alienware's gaming laptop range has consistently set the benchmark, winning our award for best gaming laptop of the year in 2009 and 2010. The M17x has now been updated with a new design, Intel Sandy Bridge technology and full 3D functionality.

The anodised aluminium design of the original model has been replaced by an eye-catching and hard-wearing rubberised coating, and the design looks great.

At 4.5kg it's a very heavy machine and best used at your desk, but offers 175 minutes of battery power when needed.

Usability is excellent. The large, backlit keyboard spans the width of the chassis and the tactile keys respond well, for comfortable long-term use. The huge touchpad is just as good to use and is also backlit around its border.

Raw power is this machine's real strength. Using a quad-core processor from Intel's cutting-edge Sandy Bridge Core i7 range, this is by far the most powerful laptop we've seen to date. Even the most demanding software runs flawlessly and complex multi-tasking is handled with an effortless ease.

The problem is, while Radeon HD 6950 is slower than this, it's only just slower. At the higher resolutions, which is all that really matters for these high-end cards, we're talking a few frames per second different at most.

In real terms you'd be hard pushed to spot such differences, which means that the extra £50 you pay for this over the cheaper card doesn't really pay off. Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 (£584)

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 is a dual-GPU graphics card, similar in performance and guise to the Radeon HD 6990 that proceeded it into the market by roughly a month.

This means that inside that huge cooler you'll find a pair of GTX 580 cores humming away at not-quite GTX 580 speeds. In real terms that equates to a whopping 1024 CUDA cores, 96 ROPs and access to a healthy 3GB of GDDR5.

In order to fit a pair of GPUs inside a single card, though, speed sacrifices have had to be made.

In the case of the GeForce GTX 590, that means dropping the core clock from the GTX 580's 772MHz down to 607MHz. The memory speed has been slashed too, from 1.02GHz down to 853MHz.

As with the Radeon HD 6990, anyone looking for the ultimate in performance should really look at pairing up two GTX 580s, although that will cost you considerably more.

We've given the Radeon HD 6990 the slight nod over the GTX 590 simply because it has the lead in the titles that matter, however slight that may be.

AMD Radeon HD 6990 (£550)

The Radeon HD 6990 is the second of two cards to utilise a pair of graphics processors to produce out of this world frame rates. Although as you can see, this come with an obvious downside – the price.
The Radeon HD 6990 utilises a new graphics processor, named Antilles, which is a slightly tweaked take on the Cayman core that can be found in the Radeon HD 6870, albeit not at the full speed of that GPU. This means you get the full 4GB of GDDR5 memory, strong tessellation performance and a stunning 3,072 streaming processors for handling your games.
Unfortunately, in order to cram two GPUs into the power footprint of a single graphics card, the core clock speed has had to be reduced from 880MHz to 830MHz. Similarly, the memory is running at 1.25GHz as opposed to the 1.375GHz of the 6970.
In truth there really isn't a lot between this and the previous card, the GTX 590 – they offer roughly the same performance and cost about the same.
If you're in the market for a dual-GPU graphics card, then your preference comes down to whether you prefer AMD's drivers and support, or Nvidia's.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 (£280)

Value for money may seem like a strange metric to pull out of the hat at this end of the graphics market, but the GTX 570 does a decent turn at making your investment feel prudent rather than simply excessive.
Essentially a replacement for the soon to be retired GTX 480, here's a card that does everything that Nvidia's last-generation top dog did, but without the problems that card suffered from when it shipped.
The cooler is quiet and more efficient, and the raw power on offer from this sub-£300 card is stunning. This is a slightly cut down version of the GTX 580, losing one Streaming Multiprocessor (or 32 CUDA cores, to put it another way) and 8 ROPs.
The GTX 570's core operates at 732MHz as opposed to the GTX 580's 772MHz, while the 1,280MB of GGDR5 memory speeds along at 950MHz, as opposed to the GTX 580's 1,002MHz.
For the money, there isn't a lot out there that can touch the GTX 570 in terms of pure performance, apart from possibly a pair of GTX 460s in SLI – but such a configuration requires an SLI motherboard

Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 (£395)

The GeForce GTX 580 is the fastest single-GPU graphics card currently available, and probably will be the only option for some time to come yet.
Created as the spiritual successor to the much-maligned GTX 480, Nvidia took the problems it had with its first DX11 graphics card and corrected them.
This means you get a full-fat core boasting 512 CUDA cores and 48 ROPS, not one that has been cut down to achieve better yields. And all running at a healthy 772MHz with a 1,002MHz memory bus for the 1,384MB of GDDR5 memory.
Not everyone needs the power of a GTX 580 – only those with serious screens to power. This is a market targeted by the twin-GPU Goliaths that are the AMD Radeon HD 6990 and Nvidia's own GeForce GTX 590.
The GTX 580 still has the nod, however, because those cards have had to be throttled back to fit on a single card, while here you know nothing is being constrained. This is still the most sensible option for anyone looking for unfettered speed from a single GPU.

There have been so many games in the industry that were overhyped. In the end they went on to become such huge flops that their names will never been forgotten just due to the fact that these were a combination of both commercial and critical failures.

LAIR

Touted as the flagship title for the much hyped Six Axis controller, LAIR was a technical disaster. Even though Lair had amazing visuals and thee backing up of a fame developer in Factor 5, the game was a commercial and a critical failure. The controls were at a total loss and the game implemented a very poor motion sensing scheme. A guide was released later which helped the players understand the controls but that did not end LAIR’s woes.

Too Human

Too Human is often listed as one of the most expensive games ever made, not due to the fact that game was being polished over the years, but it was languishing in development hell for a long time, not to mention the several disputes. In the end we got a mediocre product which had sheer annoying game play mechanics. The combat system was broken and the camera was terrible.

Lost Planet 2

I had high expectations from Capcom’s sequel to one of the most underrated shooters of 2007, but just like any other game in the list, this game turned out to be totally disappointing. The game had serious issues in level design and the AI was broken. I know there were mix reactions to the game but according to me the game under performed in terms of is story structure and play mechanics. It was the age old shooting game just with pretty painting.

Crackdown 2

Overall Crackdown 2 was too much like its predecessor. The Co-op was only online; while competitive modes aren’t so great. Lacking a good soundtrack the same song is played over and over again at different tempos. Crackdown 2 suffered multiple major setbacks with much of the same game play as of the original. This game simply should not have existed.

All Points Buletin

Controversy is another name for APB. The game was bombarded with bad reviews overall, but there was more to follow. Just a few months after the game’s launch Realtime Worlds announced that the servers will shut down soon which was then followed by K2 purchasing APB. The game will be launched again for free sometime in 2011. But the question is who will play this?

Haze

There was a ton of hype behind Haze and it turned out to be total disaster. The legion of PlayStation 3 fans claimed this will be the next “Halo Killer” after the horrible outing of the original Killzone on the PlayStation 2, but much to their misfortune the game suffered from a terrible story line and artificial intelligence. Not only that, the game also had bland game play and graphics and a really bad lead in Shane Carpenter.

I think Nier had loads of potential but it really was wasted by a lot of shenanigans. Its way longer than it needs to be and there are loads of features that should never have been put in. I think the focus of the game should have been on the visuals and the story being a little more in depth. If they could go back and remake this game with less crap in it and a lot more story development than it might be a

10. Silent Hill 2

You are definitely not a sadistic blood-lover if you haven’t played the spooky Silent Hill games. Out of the many releases in the series, Silent Hill 2 is probably the most disturbing and violent, simply because of the location its set in, and also because of James’s twisted perspective of things. Gory enemies, disturbing images, and brutal ways of killing monsters are the elements that allow it to be one of the ten most violent games in recent years.

9. Blood Rayne 2

If you have to play as an ultra-hot, tall redheaded chick with abnormal looking swords, you know things aren’t going to turn out pretty. Blood Rayne 2 is all about gruesomely chopping up enemies, and doing it in style. Though the prequel was equally brutal, Blood Rayne 2 beats it simply because of better graphics, and hence more realistic looking violence and gore ‘comparatively’.

8. Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil games were never a walk in a park. Even if they were, it was a walk in a park filled with nasty rotting zombies and disturbing monsters. Resident Evil 4, with its newish gameplay and unique feel, added much more to the horror experience that comes with a Resident Evil game.
It may have not been as freaky as the previous games in the series, but it definitely contained much more violence, gore and blood, hence making it perhaps one of the most violent games in history. Be it perturbing half-zombies with massive chainsaws, hooded weirdos with spiders as their heads, or very freaky monsters called Regenerators; Resident Evil 4 was a display of brutality, bloodshed and immense gore.

7. Grand Theft Auto (Series)

Almost every gamer has experienced the game’s larger-than-law approach; whether they have liked it or disliked it is another story. Grand Theft Auto may have not featured limbs flying in all directions, but it has featured some of the most controversial elements yet.
If a game encourages beating people to death with a hammer, shamelessly machine-gunning cops and civilians out in the public, or increasing your health by visiting prostitutes, you know it deserves a place in the Top 10 most violent games to date. Which GTA game deserves the highest applause for this, umm, feat, we can’t really say, as each GTA game has had its unique share of violence.

6. Manhunt (Series)

Here is a game that revolutionized violence and gore in games with its GHOUL damage model engine. Though Soldier of Fortune was a Nazi-related story-driven game, it got its fame because of its realistic violence system.
The GHOUL engine enabled depiction of extreme graphic violence, since every character model was based on body parts that can independently sustain damage. That meant flying limbs, partially blown heads, destroyed torsos and lots of other disturbing things you don’t see too often in First Person Shooters.

4. God of War 3

It’s not odd to be thankful that you aren’t a god while watching Kratos do the things he is so disturbingly good at. Though God of War 1 and 2 had a good bit of violence and brutality in them, it’s evident in God of War 3 that Kratos is pissed more than ever.
Some of the executions and Quick Time events in God of War 3 are so extreme that they almost make you feel pity for whoever is unfortunate to be getting the dose Kratos is offering.
God of War will always be remembered as a phenomenal and one of the most rightfully famed game series ever; it will be remembered equally for the merciless nature of Kratos and what troubles and pain his poor victims have to endure.

3. Dead space

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and that certainly applies for poor Isaac’s situation. If dismembering the limbs of monster-turned human enemies is the only way to get rid of them, then Isaac Clare will do it with anything you give him, be it his engineering tools, his magnetic boots or his large armored gloves.
Dead Space adopts all the goods of the Resident Evil games, and puts them in a setting which is far freakier, far more claustrophobic and much more brutal than Capcom’s illustrious horror game. Dead Space is the modern achievement of gaming developers, because it has given players the spooks, the hear-attack giving suspense, and lots of violence and gore to make our already twisted minds twist even more.
In fact, players become so wary of the carking possibilities in the game, that they have no choice but to stomp on every dead body they find.

2. Mortal Kombat (2011)

Kombat game can be included in this list, but after the release of the latest installment in the series, Mortal Kombat has become what everyone had wanted it to be. The Mortal Kombat series is a one of a kind, because it was probably the first game to feature immense violence and gore in a fighting game.
It isn’t just about the huge amounts of blood or spinal fluid falling on the ground, or the bone-crushing X-ray moves that are a treat to both watch and execute, it is the combination of all these, along with the most famous things of all, Fatalities, that makes this game so famous and so admired.
Mortal Kombat (2011) does the goods by bringing us the classic feel of Mortal Kombat, along with the cool x-ray moves. But its outstanding feature is the unique, brand new Fatalities for every player. Some will rip your head off, and munch on it; some will dismember your leg and beat the living crap out of you with it; some will explode your body parts with rockets and some will rip you apart with the assistance of their shadow.
Regardless of which Mortal Kombat character you choose, or how you play, Mortal Kombat (2011) will always remind you of how much physical damage special powers can do.

And topping the list is none other than the either over-loved or over-hated Postal 2. The Postal series is perhaps the most negative game series ever to be released. It’s not just about gore and violence; it’s about being purely evil.
The game puts you in a terribly negative world, with just about each and every element encouraging or tempting the player to do something absolutely horrible, such as going on a rampage and killing everything and anything you see (which is termed as going ‘Postal’ in the game), or beating someone up until they start to whimper and urinate with fear.
If a game gets banned in certain countries simply because of being the way it is, then there is truly something not right with this game. That is pretty much how Postal is. It is everything that has ever been declared wrong, false, immoral, unethical and un-human.
Running With Scissors, the developers of this highly controversial title, state that it is possible to finish Postal 2 without engaging in any sort of immoral activity. However, this is almost entirely impossible in most cases, not to mention that players are almost compelled by the situations to use extreme amounts of violence to have a chance of surviving.
Dude (the ‘protagonist’ of the game) is seriously not a nice guy, and thanks to the large amount of hideously insane things he can do, Postal 2 earns the title of Most Violent Game in history.

7. Go to PES 2011 Again. Buy some item(s) to decrease your GP.

8. Next,Remember or write down your decreased money.

PES 2010 ML Money Cheat using Cheat engine

I have some simple tips for you who have a trouble while managing your Master League (ML) . In this tutorial you will use Cheat engine, if you haven't have it you can download from cheat engine's official site, or search by Google

First, all you need is just run PES 2010 and load your Master league
Look at your ML Current money. Write it down and don't forget to set the currency as USD
Now Run your Cheat engine and then Click Open Process like picture below.

A window will come out. Find PES 2010 process!

Leave The Scan type and value type default and then input your ML money. IMPORTANT!! Don't input the last zero on your money. Ex. 785330510 Ex. your money is 785330510, input as 78533051 and Click First Scan

Then one or a few address will show on the list. double click on it! Note : if you found more than one address, win some money and input your new money in value text box, then do next scan

Then an address will copied on the address list. double click on value, and a box will come out. Fill the text box With your desired money. Ex. 99999999, Press OK!

Now Press Alt + Tab to see PES 2010 window. to see your new cheated money save it first and go back.
Woww you're rich now!

That is all, Simple right? :) All you need is just follow my steps.

It's short on scares, but satisfying shooting and exciting cooperative play make F.E.A.R. 3 a thoroughly enjoyable shooter.

The Good

Core shooting action is satisfying
Complementary powers make co-op a blast
F***ing Run is an unusual and exciting multiplayer mode.

The Bad

Unimpressive visuals
Story lacks scares or surprises.

Nothing is more terrifying than the unknown. Unfortunately, F.E.A.R. 3 doesn't seem to grasp this, and it lays bare all the mysteries of this series of paranormal shooters, moving the story forward but stripping away its power to get inside your head and keep you up at night. But while F.E.A.R. 3 may disappoint as a horror game, it satisfies as a shooter. The campaign is good fun in single-player and especially enjoyable when played cooperatively with a friend. And the game's multiplayer modes present some thrills for those willing to work with others to survive.

F.E.A.R. 3 follows hot on the heels of F.E.A.R. 2's startling conclusion, but returns us to the protagonist of the original F.E.A.R., the genetically designed supersoldier known as Point Man. The events at the end of F.E.A.R. 2 have triggered a paranormal catastrophe of biblical proportions in the city of Fairport, and Point Man is eager to make his way there and help out a former squadmate caught up in the chaos. Point Man's not alone, though. His homicidal brother, Paxton Fettel, is along for the ride. Point Man may have put a bullet in his brother's brain in F.E.A.R., but Fettel isn't about to let a little thing like being dead keep him down. The brothers form an uneasy alliance, but despite the tension between them, the story progresses predictably. There's a pleasant sense of closure that goes with seeing the brothers confront the painful reality of their shared past, but there aren't any surprises or scares that will stay with you once the story has run its course. The visuals also won't work their way into your subconscious. F.E.A.R. 3's graphics are plain and lag behind current standards. As a result, the creepy living rooms, city streets, and food courts you fight your way through aren't quite as creepy as they should be; the environments lack the convincing level of detail to fully pull you in. The sounds are more effective; the loud blasts of gunfire heighten the intensity of firefights, and the ethereal wails that accompany ghostly visions may unsettle you a bit, even if the sight of them doesn't.

What's cooler than watching things blow up? Watching them blow up in slow motion.
