Empire Total War: is a turn-based strategy and real-time tactics computer game developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega. The fifth instalment in the Total War series, the game was released in North America on 3 March 2009, and in the rest of world the following day. The game, which focuses on the early modern period of the 18th century, was announced at the Leipzig Games Convention in August 2007.

Following a similar style of interface and play to earlier Total War titles, players choose a contemporary 18th century faction and set out to ensure that faction's domination over the known world through military force, politics, diplomacy, espionage and economics. Although the campaign element of the game is turn-based, players can direct battles in real-time. Empire: Total War is the first game in the series to allow naval battles to be conducted in real-time. In addition to the standard campaign mode, the game includes a special campaign that follows the development of the United States from the settlement of Jamestown to the American War of Independence. Players may also engage in recreations of several historical battles from the early modern era.

Empire: Total War received acclaim from reviewers upon release; several critics commended it as one of the foremost strategy titles of recent times. Praise was bestowed upon the extensive strategy breadth, accurate historical challenges and visual effects. The real-time land battles, with a far greater focus on gunpowder weaponry than earlier Total War titles, were thought to be successfully implemented. Criticisms focused on shortcomings with the game's artificial intelligence and on the real-time naval battles, the latter of which were perceived to be difficult

If you have not played in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (TMNT 2: BN), it is better not take part in 3, or better yet, start with the very first. Fighters to beat here, to put it mildly, a lot. Konami just gathered all more or less colorful characters from the complete series of cartoons and stuffed them into the game. You play as Robin Hood; as you start the game, you'll be defending Sherwood Forest from the Sheriff of Nottingham. This first portion effectively serves as a tutorial before you take over the entire region of Nottingham and eventually go to war with the lords in the other areas of England.

The reason the entire island is in turmoil is that King Richard has been abducted and is up for ransom in Austria. Richard's evil brother, Prince John, has declared Richard dead and seized the throne of England for himself. You are tasked with gathering up enough money to pay Richard's ransom, raising armies of your own to fight for control of each of England's counties, and eventually attacking Prince John and overthrowing him from his seat of power in southern England.

At the start of every turn, you'll collect taxes from your counties; the more counties you control, the more money you bring in. The gold you collect you can use to raise armies for your campaign forces or county garrisons, to build strongholds on your provinces, or to partially pay off King Richard's ransom. If Maid Marian is around, you can send her to spy on an enemy province, which will give you a permanent look at the troop strength in that territory. Once you're done reinforcing your army or your defenses, you will have a few basic choices. You can go on a raid in one of your enemy's provinces, you can hold a jousting tournament with Sir Ivanhoe serving as your proxy, or you can attack a neighboring province with your army to bring it under your control. Each choice opens up a different minigame.

How To playthanks to "Botdra Lar'les"

1. Download and extract the ISO's onto your computer, or burn them to a disc.
2. Insert (or mount) the first DVD ISO and start the installation. When prompted (in some random language), just insert the second DVD and continue the installation.
3. When the installation is finished you may have to install the Rockstar Social Club, do so.
4. Now unplug yourself from the internet completely or shut off your connection somehow. Launch the game. It will say you aren't connected so just login normally to the Rockstar Social Club and hit "Play", even though you are offline it will let you do so. Start the game and get as far as Rico's Cousins apartment, then when prompted hit "Yes" and you will start creating a Windows Live Account. When given the option, press "Create Offline Account" and name it what you wish, you can now continue playing with no issues.

It is the time of the year for the new editions of the sports games and 2010 will be the first time Gameloft and EA fight out their traditional battle to gain the top of the table on the App Store.
We've already had a hands on with FIFA 10.
And now Gameloft has announced details of Real Football 2010.
The big news is the real-time online multiplayer which works via globally via Wi-Fi or locally by Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This will hook into Gameloft's LIVE! social networking technology. You can play official matches to improve your ranking in the game.

Gameloft will support transfer news with regular updates to the game's player database, and there's an RSS newsfeed built into the menu so you'll always know what the latest scores are.

Another addition is the option to upload your replays direct to YouTube. You'll also be able to rate other people's videos at Real-Football.com.

Getting down to game features, the controls have been improved with a more precise virtual D-pad and the option to select a player by just tapping them.

There will be 8 leagues, 14 stadiums, 245 teams and real players' names thanks to the FIFPro license, and TV-like in-game commentary.

Finally, new modes include;

Enter The Legend, in which you play as your favourite player during the whole match and manage their career as a pro football star,

Club Master, which is more of a management role where you take part in a whole season with your favourite team and strengthen it through trades,

And RF League, which uses the online leaderboard to compare your performance with other players over the world.

Looking like another strong season for Gameloft's outfit then.

Ultimate Spider-Man is a video game based on the comic book of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley. The game was released for most sixth generation consoles, including PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and Microsoft Windows as well as a mobile phone game. Treyarch, who made the console games based on the Spider-Man movies, developed the console game, while Vicarious Visions developed the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance versions and Beenox ported the Microsoft Windows version from consoles.

Stylistically, it differs from its predecessor, Spider-Man 2, in that it employs what has been dubbed Comic Inking Animation technology, a form of cel shading intended to simulate the appearance of a comic-book.

While originally thought to be canonical to the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, It is unclear what parts of the game take place in the continuity of the comic. The story arc "War of the Symbiotes" loosely adapts the events of the game into Ultimate Universe continuity, while shortening and changing many of the story elements.

Gameplay:

In Ultimate Spider-Man the player can experience a free-roaming city environment that covers Manhattan and Queens. The player starts in story-mode where the game automatically switches between Spider-Man and Venom. Spider-Man travels by web swinging, but the player must shoot a web at an actual building to swing, much like in its previous game Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man uses acrobatic attacks. Venom travels by using his symbiote to pull himself and by performing massive jumps. Venom attacks using his claws and tendrils. Venom can also throw cars at targets and perform much more brutal attacks, including eating people in order to gain health.

As the game progresses, Parker/Spider-Man and the player will have certain City Goals to accomplish in order to continue the storyline.

There are additional activities throughout the game such as finding secret tokens, landmark tokens, comic book covers and competing in trick races.

Spider-Man plays similarly to his Spider-Man 2 incarnation, using web shots as his main method of transportation and combat, while Venom has to resort to jumping for long distances. Venom's attacks are also generally stronger than Spider-man's. Venom (like Spider-Man) can also scale buildings. Venom (as previously stated) can also leech life from enemies and civilians. The player has to do this constantly, as Venom's health is continuously depleting, even when he is not being attacked (the suit is feeding on Eddie Brock, so Eddie uses other people to feed it instead).
