New Game Graze: Plants vs Zombies 2, It's About Time

2013-09-26T16:59:00.000+04:00

I've moved on from Candy Crush, now I'm getting hooked with PvZ2.

I already finished Ancient Egypt world with 40 levels plus add on levels you need to complete to accumulates keys or stars to move on another level or world.

It's really crazy and I don't know who is crazier Dave or me playing PvZ2.

Candy Crush Mania

2013-07-02T17:26:00.000+04:00

I told myself I shouldn't, did well for a few months but finally gave into the Candy Crush Mania.

I am currently in level 305, if that is not proof enough that I am currently addicted to the game. So much that I suddenly thought of posting the different levels, strategies and even cheats here.

You'll be seing lots of Candy Crush from now on, at least I warned you ;)

FB Games: It Girl

I got curious and downloaded it on my iPhone 4S

Here you get to shop till you drop (the coffee sign on the upper right side indicates your energy level), of course you can use the diamond or the bucks to purchase clothes, shoes and accessories. I have an initial of 14 diamonds and if I want more, I'll have to pay with real cash (Paypal or Credit Card I guess). But the bucks are added to your account, I'm just not sure how the rate per hour.

Then you get to compete with other Fashionistas. As you can see I just lost.

You battle against your hotness level (I'm hotter), Clique Size (I got no friends) and Closet Bonus (I need to shop more!).

I am no Fahionista but I love dressing up my dolls, so I might play a little more.

Tomo: My own DSLR

2012-03-29T23:11:00.000+04:00

I got myself a Canon EOS 1100D or Rebel T3, a late birthday present from myself. Whohoo!

I haven't got a chance to assimilate the DSLR's functions yet but I have a whole month of April to do that. I'm going on vacation and for sure you'll be seeing lots of posts and pictures about it later.

So for now, meet my Tomo, meaning friend in Japanese since I'm sure we'll go along way together.

How much did it cost me?

I got a great bargain since the retail price is 2,699 AED with 2 lens and the usual freebies like carrying case and 4GB SDHC card (from 3 electronic shops) . I found one shop where I haggle and got it at 2,550 AED (cash no CC or DC) with additional freebies like carrying case, tripod, 8GB Ultra SDHC card and another 8GB SDHC card.

Complete package

Canon EOS 1100D

EF-S 18-55mm IS II lens

EF 75-300mm

Tripod

Carry Case

8GB Ultra SDHC card

8GB SDHC card

2550 AED ≈ 29700 PHP ≈ 700 USD

Let the hunt begin!

Nikon D3000

Nikon D3100

At EMax, Reef Mall

Nikon D3100

Canon EOS-1100

I am also open on buying a second hand DSLR since I don't know if this (photography thing) is just a whim or a real thing.

I checked the local site dubizzle.com for new and used items and got offers for

Nikon 3100 - 1,999 AED

Nikon 300 - 1,800 AED (lowered to 1,600 AED)

both used for less than a year, with lens and carry case.

Which is a good deal? It's too complicated!

I dream of DSLR

2012-03-11T16:37:00.002+04:00

I suddently had an urge to buy a DSLR asap!

Well, I was planning to buy one maybe by May or June after I recuperate from the expenses I made and will make on my vacation come April. It was supposed to be a late birthday gift for myself (March 6) but then some extra cash came up. I was not expecting a bonus this year because of the financial crisis not just our company faced but globally. It was much less than what we usually get (compared to my first 2 years) but still any amount is welcome!

So last night and today I searched for newbie friendly DSLR and found this list

Canon Rebel T3i
Canon Rebel T2i
Nikon 3100
Nikon 3000
Pentax K-x
Sony Alpha SLT-A55
Olympus E-520

Which one is the best pick? Need inputs on cost vs function.

Nokia 808 Pureview with 41 MP Camera Smartphone

2012-03-01T16:14:00.001+04:00

A whooping 41 megapixel camera in a smartphone, how cool would that be?

Nokia released it's newest smartphone with 41MP camera. I am loving my 8MP camera on iPhone 4S and imagining it with 5x clearer is something I still cannot grasp.

Should I be excited or not? I am leaning on the not because I think it's over the top and if I want to have clear pictures I should get myself a DSLR instead.

But I can always change my mind after I got more info on the other features this Nokia 808 Pureview will have. And of course, if the price is right!

I've used Agoda.com for the hotel bookings I made for our Boracay trip in April 2012. So far it was an easy booking process and with instant confirmation. To check the validity, I asked my cousin to double check our bookings and it was confirmed by the hotel too.

There's a rebate given for every booking done at Agoda.com and you can use it on your next bookings.

Payment can be done by Credit or Debit Cards and Paypal. I paid $600+ of my blogging earnings for our 3-day booking for 6 pax. Now I'm (PP) broke!
