Less then ten days to go until Assassin’s Creed 2 is launched, and Ubisoft has released a bunch of new, high-definition images. There are 17 different images now that show different game scenes that put many of the new features in the game in evidence.

We’ll leave you to the beautiful images and remind you that Assassin’s Creed 2 is scheduled to launch on November 17th in the US, and November 20th in Europe, for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, while PC users will have to wait until the first trimester of 2010.

Atari has finally announced the launch date for Star Trek Onilne. The game will be launched on February 4th, 2010.

Star Trek online is an MMORPG that is being developed by Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes, Champions Online) and it takes place 30 years after the events from the movie Star Trek: Nemesis. We’ll show you the debut trailer for Star Trek Online at the end of this post. Enjoy!

Chris Sigaty from Blizzard has declared in an interview to EuroGamer that tehre will be no beta for StarCraft II this year. However, Sigaty also confirmed that the beta will happen and during the beginning of 2010, so the fans shouldn’t be too worried. 2009 is almost over anyway.

We remind you that StarCraft II will be launched for PC and Mac during Spring 2010.

BioWare has not neglected their other titles while still going through the hype of Dragon Age: Origins, as we can see by those two new Mass Effect 2 videos launched today. The videos show played sequences, so always worth watching.

We’re back with yet another video for Assassin’s Creed 2, part of the Developer’s Diary entitled “Home Sweet Home”. The movie talks about the game scenarios, especially the Italian cities that will be the stage for Ezio Auditore’s feats.

Assassin’s Creed 2 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 next November 20th, while PC users will have to wait until the first trimester of 2010.

- The first issue of the Mass Effect Redemption comics
- a DVD featuring the backstage for the game and movies
- A code that will unlock a special armor and the “Avenger Assault” weapon

The Collector’s Edition will be available in the USA from January 26th on, for $69.99 (XBox 360 version) and $59.99 (PC version). The brand new launch trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally available. Also this time, Infinity Ward shows their hard work. You’ll see that by the end of this post by checking the video. For those who will probably wonder, the theme song is “Till I Collapse”, from Eminem.

The guys from Destructoid managed to get their hands to some sort of quis that Microsoft apparently has sent to many authorized resellers, aiming to find out a bit more about the XBox 360 products that will fill the shelves in this Christmas season.

But the main piece of news from such quiz are about Mass Effect 3: In fact it tells us about BioWare’s intention of making a full series of DLC including new planets, missions, characters and objects. Also mentioned a mysterious “Cerberus Network”, described as a true distribution service, a weekly distribution of new material for the game.

Of course, we’re treating this as a rumor and waiting for confirmation from BioWare, in the meantime we remind you all that Mass Effect 2 will be launched next January 29th for PC and XBox 360.
