How to choose a gaming laptop

First thing what you need to do is opening your wallet. Open it and check how much money you got to buy a gaming laptop. Alienware laptops start from 900$. Samsung series 7 is also good for gaming but again the price starts from 900$. MSI laptops price starts from 1000$.

The Ouya is an upcoming video game console built upon open-source technology running on the Android mobile operating system. Julie Uhrman, a game industry veteran, founded the project. She brought in designer Yves Béhar to collaborate on the design of the project, and Muffi Ghadiali as product manager to put together the engineering team for the hardware and application framework software. The console is slated for release in March 2013.

Ouya was announced on July 3, 2012 as a new home video game console, made by a team of experts[citation needed], and led by the CEO of Boxer8, Julie Uhrman. On July 10, Ouya started a Kickstarter campaign to gauge how many people were interested in the project. Boxer8 confirmed having a working prototype with in-progress software and user interface. Boxer8 is expected to provide their own Ouya store for apps and games. The prototype runs on Android 4.0. It featured many high-end specs, and a price tag of $99 ($95 for 1000 "early birds" to the Kickstarter campaign). The Kickstarter fundraising goal was raised within 8 hours (and continues to increase as more models are made available at various funding levels). According to Kickstarter, in reaching its goal, Ouya holds the record for best first day performance of any project hosted to date. Within the first 24 hours the project attracted one backer every 5.59 seconds. Ouya became the eighth project in Kickstarter history to raise more than a million dollars, and then became the most quickly funded project on Kickstarter to reach one million dollars.
The Ouya Kickstarter page featured an introduction video, which explained various aspects of the console, showcased the process of designing of the 3" touchpad-sporting controller, and gave viewers a glimpse of the motherboard. It also presented the first looks of the console's game store, showing several games from indie developers who had supported and shown interest in Ouya. Many developers had shown interest as far back as seven months prior to the Ouya's announcement. Potential games on the new platform include Minecraft, Canabalt, and Triple Town.
On July 19, 2012, Robert Bowling, former Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward, announced in a blog post and through an update on the Ouya Kickstarter page that his newly formed studio Robotoki would be the first developer to commit to creating a game exclusively for the Ouya. The game will be an episodic prequel to Robotoki's Human Element, a post-zombie-apocalyptic game scheduled for release in 2015.

On 9th July some estonians with latvians and lithuanians from portals: skillz.lv, ltgaming.lt and itbaltics.com visited ESL headquarters in Germany to make a contract to develope eSports in Estonia and to take gaming in Estonia to a new level.

Before the main story we need your help. To arrange big tournaments in Estonia the ESL Estonia Facebook pages needs likes! It is to show the owners of ESL that we have a gamers base who want to develope eSports. All this attracts sponsors and therefore ESL Estonia will be able to make more torunaments with better prizes! It is not about CS 1.6 but also League of Legends and Starcraft!

Russian hacker hacks 6 million computers!

Police have detained a 22-year-old hacker who created a system of networked computers that was used to steal more than 150 million rubles ($4.47 million) from people's bank accounts and already one of the most wanted hacker in the world. But now, "Hermes" is, has been tapped over six million computers and earns around 5 million francs, was caught in Russia.
The network infected around six million computers with a Trojan virus, which helped get access to users' bank accounts. About the Trojans secretly installed, he had arranged illegal money transfers, said the interior ministry in Moscow on Friday.
Police from Division K, the cybercrime branch of the Interior Ministry, searched the hacker's place of residence, confiscating computers and arresting the suspect. The statement did not specify when the arrest was made.The botnet built by the hacker included around 6 million computers from regions that included Krasnodar, Samara, and Ivanovo, as well as from the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, where the majority of the infected computers were located.
The hacker faces a lengthy jail term if convicted on fraud charges.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack and slash video game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles. It features Juliet Starling, a cheerleader zombie hunter fighting zombies in a fictional California high school. A collaboration between game designer Goichi Suda and filmmaker James Gunn, the game is being published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Story
Lollipop Chainsaw focuses on zombie hunter and cheerleader Juliet Starling (voiced by Tara Strong in English and Eri Kitamura/Yōko Hikasa in Japanese) who fights hordes of zombies in San Romero High School, which Starling formerly attended. She carries with her the severed, yet still living, head of her boyfriend Nick Carlyle (voiced by Michael Rosenbaum in English and Kenichi Suzumura in Japanese), whom she decapitated after he suffered a zombie bite. It is also revealed that Juliet will be assisted by her sisters, Cordelia Starling (voiced by Linda Cardellini in English and Mayumi Asano in Japanese), the elder one and Rosalind Starling (voiced by Kimberly Brookes in English and Mariya Ise in Japanese) the younger sister. The enemy zombies are led by "a group of zombie rock and roll lords" who were former high school students who were turned into intelligent zombies that each have different personalities, music-styles and motif's. The zombie outbreak has been caused by Juliet's former classmate, an evil goth druid named Swan (voiced by Sean Gunn in English and Nobuhiko Okamoto in Japanese), who seeks to break the barrier between the human world and the Rotten World, a world inhabited by zombies and other demonic forces.

Gameplay
Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack and slash video game, with gameplay resembling Suda51's No More Heroes games. In this game, Juliet has light attacks, which are acrobatic kicks and punches, and heavy attacks which use a chainsaw. The light attacks are intended to herd enemy zombies together so that Juliet can finish them off all at once with heavy attacks. Killing enemies and saving classmates that are being attacked by zombies will fill up Juliet's star meter, which is used for super attacks. Juliet's boyfriend Nick, a disembodied head hanging from her skirt, can be used for various purposes, including being kicked at enemies by Juliet or being put on the body of a decapitated zombie to control it. When the player completes certain tasks in the game, Juliet's chainsaw will be upgraded.

LOL Compromised

A recent slew of security failures have left countless accounts hacked at sites like Linkedin and eHarmoney. Now League of Legends is the latest database to suffer from hackers this week.

Riot has sent out a mail to registered League of Legends players in Europe, asking them to change their passwords due to a hackers accessing some player account information. Full details are below, but know that according to Riot,” absolutely no payment or billing information of any kind was included in the breach.” but email addresses, encrypted account password, summoner name, date of birth, and for a small number of players – first and last name and encrypted security question and answer.

Obviously, this information could be used in phishing scams. Riot Games does encrypt passwords through it warns “our security investigation determined that more than half of the passwords were simple enough to be at risk of easy cracking”. Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck posted an update on the situation, as well as a formal apology which you can read below.

As these things go, Riot appears to be handling this embarrassing situation relatively well. There's no info yet on exactly when the breach took place.

Finally, Riot's Marc Merrill Brandon Beck have apologised to players for the breach, saying "We take your privacy and security seriously, and we're working diligently to improve it for the better."

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings is an upcoming and first official expansion pack for the turn-based strategy video game Civilization V. It is currently expected to release on June 19 in North America and June 22 internationally. It will add both religion and espionage mechanics to the game as well as rework the combat and diplomacy features.

Gods and Kings is set to include 27 new units, 13 new buildings, 9 new wonders, and 9 new playable civilizations. A new religion mechanic featuring a "faith" resource will allow players to found their own religion which they can grow to a "world-spanning fully customized religion." Diplomacy has been reworked to include espionage, foreign embassies, and new types of city-states (religious and mercantile). City-states will also feature a new quest system and strategic importance. Additionally, the combat system has been re-worked to include smarter AI, an expanded early modern era, and enhanced naval combat featuring Great Admiral and melee naval units. Gods & Kings will add an additional fifty-two Steam achievements to Civilization V.
Three new scenarios will be included in the expansion: "Fall of Rome", focusing on the decline of the Roman Empire; "Into the Renaissance", focusing on religion in the Middle Ages into the Renaissance era; and "Empires of the Smoky Skies", a Victorian steampunk scenario.

According to a US report recently claimed that hackers had managed to interfere with two military satellites, but one expert argues the amount of energy required would be too great for ordinary hackers.

The hackers took control of the Landsat-7 and Terra AM-1 satellites for a grand total of 12 minutes and two minutes respectively.

One might hope that the communications satellites suspended in orbit above the earth might be one component of the planet’s technology infrastructure that is safely out of harm’s way.

But as satellite communications enthusiast Paul Marsh explained at the London Security B-Sides event in April, there are reasons to doubt the reports. He spoke about a similar story, reported in the late 1990s, about hackers supposedly accessing UK military satellite communications network SkyNet and ‘nudging’ one satellite out of synch.

Whether Chinese hackers have that capability now is just one more matter of speculation to add to the opaque field of cyber warfare.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a story-driven action-horror video game, developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios. The game is a downloadable follow up to its predecessor, Alan Wake, but is not a sequel. The game is an Xbox Live Arcade title and was released February 22, 2012. A Microsoft Windows version will be released May 22, 2012.
American Nightmare is set as an independent game and does not reflect on the major storyline of the franchise. It only exists to broaden and expand the universe.

Story

The plot of American Nightmare is framed by the narration of an episode of "Night Springs" (in the style of The Twilight Zone), running while Alan Wake's friend and manager, Barry, is asleep in a motel room. The narration explains that Alan is attempting to chase down "the herald of darkness", Mr. Scratch and Alan's evil doppleganger created by a dark force, who is attempting to take away everything Alan loves, including his wife Alice. Alan, who as the champion of light has the ability to write a new reality, has been able to write his escape from Cauldron Lake in Washington, ending up near the small town of Night Springs, Arizona. He learns that he has been missing from the real world for nearly two years.
A nearby oil derrick erupts with several foes controlled by Mr. Scratch to kill Alan. Alan encounters Emma Sloan at a nearby hotel, who believes he is the same as Mr. Scratch that was at the motel the night before. She provides Alan with a typewritten page, a way to alter reality to destroy the derrick and stop the foes. Alan accomplishes the required change, sending a satellite out of orbit and crashing through the derrick, but in the confusion, the dark forces consume Emma. Alan looks to answers at a nearby observatory. There, Dr. Rachel Meadows, who also met Mr. Scratch previously, is tracking a mysterious signal sent just before the satellite was knocked out of orbit. Alan helps to repair the telescope, obtaining a portion of the signal that translates into part of a story, a new reality that Alan can change. The incomplete message points him to the nearby drive-in theater, where Serena Valdivia, under the influence of Mr. Scratch, attempts to prevent Alan from getting to the projection room where Alan can change reality; Serena mentions that Mr. Scratch is trying to prevent the sun from ever rising again. Alan eventually evades her, gaining the access code to the room, and uses the incomplete message to try to set the new reality. However, as the message is only partial, the new reality does not take effect; Mr. Scratch appears, and gloats to Alan, sending him back in a time loop to a few hours before.
Waking back up near the motel, Alan repeats many of the same motions, though both Emma and Rachel have some deja vu of the previous loop's events, and have helped Alan with some of his tasks. However, Emma is still consumed by the darkness, and Rachel is only able to capture a longer, but still incomplete, portion of the message. When Alan returns to the drive-in theater, he again is unable to complete the new reality and set back in time again by Mr. Scratch. He repeats his actions for a third time, but is able to save Emma and gain the complete message from Rachel. Alan sets the correct series of events in the projection room, ending by projecting a film made by Alice onto the screen. Mr. Scratch appears again but discovers that Alan has successfully written the new reality, and he is burned out of existence by the film. On the screen, Alan appears to reunite with Alice along a sun-lit shoreline; however, the narrator notes that this could quite possibly be just a figment of Alan's imagination since he is still trapped in the dark place.
After completion of the game's credits, Barry wakes up suddenly believing to have heard Alan's voice.
