War Inc Battlezone a Beta Review

Hello and welcome to this brand new Gaming Blog. First of all, I'm Takawaka maybe Tkwk33 or Takawak, depending on the game, and I'll be writing about one of my favourites things on earth Gaming. I'm 18 and I'm from the internet, as you can imagine, most of my life to this moment have been accompanied by games and their development from classic space invader to next-gen graphics like Crysis 2. This week I've decided to start doing something productive with my free time and I started this blog to write of one of my loves and to practice my english as well. Later on my brother will writing here too about classic/retro games. Personally I'll try to bring all new games from now on with a fair review and my impressions on it's gameplay.

Today we'll be looking closely to War Inc Battlezone, a totally free online game, basically i'ts a third person shooter Battlefield like style. At this moment it's on closed beta state but you can easily register and get an account from this website http://partners.thewarinc.com/getcodea.php?RefID=dhFoTGSso7do90. So far there are two game modes available, Conquest and Deathmatch, but as it was stated it's on an early beta. Unlike the game modes, you can find seven maps and over 100 items, including special abilities, suits, a premium account (purchasable both with game money and real money), characters and four different types of weapons, among others.

One of the disadvantages of joining the game now, is that there aren't many players, in fact you'll almost constantly find two games with players and nothing else. Some players will see the facility to use weapons as something bad but as you advance in the games's level system, you'll find that the weapon isn't all and that the stealth factor will be essential. The sceneries are perfect to play stealthy and surviving with this.

Sniping and playing with assault rifles isn't hard as the aiming system is not complex at all. While aiming down sight with the assault rifles, smgs, heavy machine guns or shotguns, you won't get the typical iron sight but just a slight zoom and the bullets will randomly be shot hitting the enemy. Whit snipers you get the full zoom as normal, it's not that hard to hit the target without holding your breath so it's pretty easy to kill enemies. First level sniping rifles does not do one shot kills (except headshots), but as reloading between shots it's not necessary on the early weapons, hitting twice is pretty easy.

The character movement is pretty fair, personally the running animation is amusing as it seems to reflect the adrenaline effect while running on a real war. Covering sites are very well designed and you can find them all over the maps, also the colour palettes used both in the scenery and the suits matches perfectly creating a successful camouflage. As regards to the levelling system, it's a medium difficulty one, as if you play without helping the team completing the objectives, it'll become a tedious process.

So this game still has a lot of development until its release date but you'll have good time playing it and levelling alone or with friends.
