God Of War Ragnarok Delayed And Confirmed At The Same Time For PS4 and PS5

2021-06-03T02:48:00.003-07:00

(credits: my edits)

If you ask me now, " will the next god of war be on ps4 ? Then I will say with excitment YES !!

Hermen Hulst, Head of Playstation Studios have revealed in the Q&A at the podcast by sony, that many of the new titles are currently in development for both PS4 and PS5 consoles, however, 25 Titles are currently in development at playstation studios.

Hermen further added that next God Of War

i.e god of war ragnarok will be coming to both Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 consoles and if the PS4 owners wish to play the PS5 version of the game, then it will be available for them. But it is obviously on the PS5 only.

This news excited me, but at the same time, santa monica studios came up with this tweet below, which made me quite unhappy, being a god of war fan.

— Santa Monica Studio Is Hiring (@SonySantaMonica) June 2, 2021

Santa monica studios confirmed that the god of war ragnarok release is delayed to 2022. This decision has been taken by the team keeping in mind the wellbeing of all the people at santa monica studios amid the current pandemic situations and also, to give all the god of war fans a great sequel of the beloved god of war 4 released on the PS4 console back in 2018. The studios also said that they have many more exciting things which they can't wait to reveal.

The hype for the next god of war game reached a good height when god of war ragnarok game was teased in the Sony State Of Play event last year with a title " Ragnarok Is Coming". This excited all god of war fans including me and many predictions also came after this teaser, but the best from these all was the prediction of the Fight between Kratos and Thor which is likely to happen, as thor wants revenge of his son which was killed by kratos in God Of War 4 game.

We hope that this delay will make god of war ragnarok a better and more amazing game with its release in the early 2022.
