Items

According to a study by L.J. Market Research, 52% of participants who received a promotional item ended up doing business with that company, and the remaining 48% were more likely to do business with that company in the future because of it. Furthermore, Schreber & Associates found that 39% of those who received a promotional item in the last 6 months could remember the name of the company that gave it to them.

Branded promotional products can help your business to gain new customers, showcase your product and services, and engage customers in your brand. These products can range from traditional – pens, notepads, and t-shirts – to the wildly out there and innovative.

Traditional and non-traditional products each have their own advantages and disadvantages; be sure the type that you choose is the one most likely to create a positive impression of your business.

Keeping it Traditional

Promotional items are a form of advertising that relies on customers keeping and using the object over a period of time. The longer they use the product or expose it to others, the more of an impression your brand makes and the greater your ROI. Traditional promo products include: pens, notepads, other office supplies, and t-shirts.

Advantages: These items tend to be cheap to produce and easy to distribute in a variety of mediums – trade shows, business meetings, store counters, etc. Their utility to the customer means they’re unlikely to be thrown out, but instead are used (and seen) regularly. The average pen, for example, changes hands 7 times in its lifetime – so if you hand out 100 pens, you’re potentially reaching 700 new customers.

Disadvantages: Check your desk drawer. How many logo pens do you have rattling around in there? The market is easily flooded with branded office supplies, so traditional promotional items are less memorable – and have less staying power – than their more innovative cousins.

Innovative Ideas

Nearly any item available can be turned into a branded promotional product with a little ingenuity, and it doesn’t have to take much expense. One company distributed branded running socks when they learned that their target audience consistently self-identified as health-seeking.

The item was successful because it was innovative, useful, and directed at their target audience – and cost about as much as giving out free t-shirts.

Advantages: Creative items can get you more attention for your brand than more traditional promotional products. When it comes to making your business stand out, the more unexpected and memorable the item is, the more staying power it will have.

Disadvantages: With innovation comes risk. When choosing your promo items, no matter how out there, you need to keep in mind that these items need to accurately represent your business brand and be directed toward your target audience. Otherwise, recipients won’t associate the item with your brand and won’t be motivated to follow up with your company.

Whether you choose to promote your business with products that are traditional or ones that are more creative, keep in mind what that product will say to your clients and prospects. You want them to retain a positive image of your business, and to associate the product with your company brand.

Avoid obsolete items like mouse pads or letter openers. Be sure that whatever product you choose is of good quality, as low-quality items, no matter how useful, will end up having a negative impact on your brand. The best promo items have a high staying power, represent your business, and garner you a positive ROI.

Various techniques can be used to decorate t-shirts.

This article will look at the different techniques used to decorate t-shirts.

Screen Printing

Screen Printing is a technique that uses woven mesh to support an ink block Stencil.

If you watched The Apprentice 2012, you will have seen the candidates given a task to come up with their own designs that they could use to print on to a chosen product such as t-shirts or canvas bags.

The Apprentice task showed us that if you have the money to invest in a screen printing set up and are artistic this could be used to make some extra money.

Embroidery

This art form requires a keen eye and a lot of skill with a needle if you are thinking about taking up this art, although the technique is simple and you can use it to create unique pieces of clothing it will take you some time to create.

However, if you have ever been to Spain or any other holiday location you may have seen the shops that have a computer hooked up to an embroidery machine that allows you create unique caps within minutes, although you can use a sewing machine to create your design.

Direct to Garment

Also known as, DTG Printing uses specialised or modified inkjet technology, the two key requirements of DTG printing is the transport mechanism for the garment and the speciality inks, which are applied to textiles directly.

This form of t-shirt printing is not something that we could take up at home, as the Direct to Garment Printers can cost anything from £6,275 to £188,262.

Sublimation Printing

This form of printing uses a dye-sublimation (or dye-sub printer) is effectively a computer printer that uses heat to transfer dye onto materials such as plastic card, paper or fabric.

This is another form of printing that you can take up at home, as the technology costs from £313 to £627.

Digital Textile Printing

This form of printing is described as ink jet printing; this form of printing is used to print smaller designs onto garments.

Rhinestones

This form of decoration is another art that requires a keen eye and skill with a needle as you will need to sit and sew on each individual rhinestone, although this can be very rewarding when you have finished.

Just remember to use a stencil of your design to make sure that you get everything where you want it.

Transfers and Vinyls

This form of t-shirt printing is possibly one of the easiest forms of t-shirt decoration that can be done at home.

All you need is could quality transfers and a very good iron and you can start decorating your on t-shirts.

Designing your own t-shirts can very rewarding and can earn extra money if you have a good enough design and use the right company to produce and sell your designs.

Fashion goes both ends of the spectrum, after all, and though they may not admit it, men can still take advantage of existing trends in men’s fashion. All those talk about relying on charisma or manly charm are actually moot in this case; you cannot deny the fact that men will be more attractive to the eyes of the opposite sex if they are fashionable and knows how to keep up with the times.

Men are proud animals; that is a fact. They usually are not comfortable with going with the trend because they feel as if it encroaches on their individuality, and thus males are bound to avoid going with the latest fashion trends unlike the way we women do. Their pride is what makes men unable to see what is in store for them, if they just take the time to assess the latest trends in fashion and see it would apply to them. In most cases, however, men just end up ignoring fashion trends, instead preferring to go their own way because of their territorial nature as “apex predators” and lords of their domain.

If you are a man reading this, then you should take into heart the following tips that might make you more fashionable. This could be done without feeling as if you have turned yourself into a doppelganger of some famous male celebrity. You will find that, by following these tips, your confidence will improve as people around you will start appreciating the way you look.

Be Mindful of The Way Your Clothes Fit

Fit is king when it comes to male fashion. A manlier look can be achieved if the clothes that you wear is just the right fit. Do you notice that most bodybuilders prefer to wear body hugging apparel? It shows off their sculptured physique! Do you not want to let others see what you are made of? You do not have to be muscle-bound in order to look impressive, as you can get around that if you choose the clothes that fit you correctly. The key to getting the right fit for your clothing is to make sure that the clothes look tight around your body without actually feeling tight for you unless, of course, if you are comfortable with really tight clothes that should be worn only when you are exercising.

Be Minimal With Your Jewellery

Most men are really uncomfortable with too much “bling” on their bodies. It also looks uncharacteristic for you as a man. It does not mean that you will avoid jewellery for the rest of your life as if they carry a curse. Instead, it means that you should learn how to minimize the amount of jewellery that you wear while still maintaining your appeal. Wearing wristwatches, for instance, is a good move for a man. They may not be as loud as diamond jewellery like earrings and bracelets, but wristwatches and men are meant to be! Omega or Rolex watches are definitely a good fit for a man wanting to be fashionable but not wanting to appear that way.

This is just one great reason why you should check those antique Omega watches for sale online. Not only do they have great value as antiques; they are also great accessories in the world of men’s fashion.

Do Not Be Too Loud with Your Colours

Last but not the least, to be fashionable as a man, you must avoid too much colour. Casual men’s wear requires you to wear just one or two colours, and these must match. Wearing a dark blue tee complemented by black pants or trousers is a good match, and so are light coloured shirts and light coloured jeans. Overdoing your colour mixes can actually make you an eyesore, and you will stand out like a sore thumb amongst the crowd. You certainly do not want to attract attention that way because the results will certainly not be pleasant.

See how easy it is to be fashionable as a man? You really do not have to imitate those famous male stars if you are uncomfortable with those. You just need to find the right mix for your wardrobe to be fashionable.

The chemise also can be worn for out and about and looks great with jeans and high heels – meaning it really is a piece of bedroom for all occasions.

The chemise itself has had a long history, when compared to most modern underwear and has been a part of a lady’s dresser since the middle ages. However, these items of the past wouldn’t have been as comfortable as the chemises of today and the origins are quite humble.

The chemise was in fact used to absorb sweat and oils from the body and prevent it getting onto the outer clothing and making it smell. These were usually made of durable, easily washable materials as they needed to be functional rather than beautiful.

Sexy – A Long Way from Origins

However, the change came about in the 20th century and the chemise became one of the staple sexy pieces in the bedroom and even further beyond. The provocative chemise is now worn by women the world over.

Chemises generally come in two different shapes and there is the camisole version and the baby doll chemise. Generally though the chemise is short and tight and without sleeves or arms and around the same length as a t-shirt.. You can also add a slip if you require further coverage and want to ensure that less flesh is showing – probably advisable if going out and about.

Baby Doll

The baby doll chemise is similar however it usually has a flared skirt on the bottom, which gives it a different shape. Both of the garments look elegant and are fantastic items for sleeping in due to the room and also the fact they are made from such luscious materials. They also usually come with a range of materials and extra adornments. Bows, fur and other are quite common and can really add to the appeal of one of these chemises. The streamlined and attractive design is more common though and it’s about simple beauty than overkill.

Extra Spice

Chemises are usually used in the bedroom and are often added as extra spice, a long way from their traditional roots as a medieval sweat garment. Most are made to add to sex appeal and are created in materials such as silk, lace and other daring fabrics – many are also even see through to enhance their appeal.

The chemise is a simple, elegant and also sexy solution that can really be used for a wide range of events. It offers all you need to enhance your look and is also extremely comfortable – not always something associated with sexy or attractive clothing. In many cases vanity takes pain, but in the chemises scenario this is not the case. So, why not slip into an Eberjey Chemise and feel all the more comfortable, sexy and attractive.

Is it Monty Pythons holy grail?…almost….

Or is it the Knights who say Ni?…

No…none of the above….its all over full t shirt coverage customisation from Garment Printing…

One of our core company ethics is that we always try to accommodate our client’s needs and listen to your feedback. As such, we don’t have minimum orders, we don’t have fixed turnaround times, we have a full service of all printing and embroidery options…the list is endless and the point is we will go as far as we can to exceed our clients expectations, and are always striving to respond to new demands and feedback.

On top of the wish list, if there was a Holy Grail for our customer’s dreams, would be BIGGER PRINTING SIZES. Client’s want full size printing covering the entire t-shirt or garment, from top to bottom, left to right, over seams and zips, over the collar…This is not always possible, but finding and offering a solution is our challenge.

Printed clothing like this usually has to be printed before the garments are cut and sewn. What this means is that, hundreds of metres of material are printed, and then cut and sewn into the tshirt, hoodie or whatever garment is required.

At Garment Printing we have always offered this service of bespoke manufacture of printed clothing. But with a minimum order of 450 units, (150 any one size and one colour). This option is used for our big clients, particularly for merchandise for bands and DJ’s, or fashion brands. But this doesn’t help the smaller clients, or the promotional tshirt and clothing industry who only want 5 units for a one off event for example, for marketing activity or a photo-shoot…whatever the reason, there is a demand for this type of printing & t-shirt customisation.

At Garment Printing we are always trying to respond to the needs and dreams and wishes of our clients, rather than being like our competition and fixing rules to make more profit…we are not all about profit, we love the challenge, we love the feedback, we love innovation and we just love to print…and we did it…Monty Pythons quest for the holy tshirt…not a shrubbery, not a flying cow, not the knights who say Ni….no, none of the above…but instead…a full body, full coverage, overall entire printing option…CHECK THIS OUT!
