You are looking at the Elliptical Swing Gate Operator.
It side mounts on the column, and as the name reveals,
it moves in an elliptical path, allowing the gate to open
more than the usual 90 degrees like all other gate openers.
It's made of stainless steel, and due to it's swivel arm, it can
even pull a gate up an incline driveway!
