Instructions.

3. Take the Instructions/Calling Cards sheet and cut out the individual cards using a paper trimmer or scissors.

4. Place the cards into a bowl or turn them upside down in the centre of the table.

6. Each person picks one of the 12 unique cards.  

7. Take turns picking a card from the bowl or turning them over.

8. Each player places a marker on top of the matching picture. Use colourful buttons, jelly beans, mini chocolate eggs or bingo markers!

9. The first person to get 3 in a row yells BINGO! to win.

Notes:

• Change it up and instead of players taking turns picking a card, you could have a designated bingo caller calling out the pictures.

How to make a DIY Easter Wreath.

1. Print the wreath design onto sturdy cardstock or paper.

I printed out two sets of the flowers and eggs page to make the wreath below.

2. Colour in the wreath template.

3. Cut out all the pieces.

4. Arrange the Easter eggs, daffodils and other flowers on the wreath base.

You can use the base provided or cut the middle out of a paper plate.

5. Once you're happy with how the wreath looks, glue the paper flowers and eggs nto the base.

6. Tape some twine or ribbon to the back of the wreath to hang.

With all the Easter chaos, I'm a big fan of activities that don't require lots of planning. These print-and-go Mad Libs are a lifesaver! All you need is this free printable PDF, a printer and a pen or two, and you're ready to play.

Perfect for a good laugh with the whole family on Easter Sunday.

What are Mad Libs? 

Mad Libs are the classic word game where players fill in blanks with nouns, verbs, adjectives, and more (without knowing the story), and the result is almost always gloriously silly.

They're endlessly replayable, require zero screen time, and work brilliantly for all ages, from younger kids just learning grammar skills to grandparents who can't resist a good giggle.

I've put together two brilliant Easter-themed Mad Libs to get the laughter started: The Easter Parade and The Great Easter Egg Hunt. 

Fill in the blanks with your own words and create silly stories that will have everyone laughing. Perfect for kids, classrooms, parties, or family fun at home!

How to Play Easter Mad Libs.

1. Choose a Story: Start with one of the Easter Mad Libs sheets, which has a pre-written story with several blank spaces. Each blank requires a specific type of word, like a noun, verb, or adjective.

2. Fill in the Blanks: One player, known as the "reader," asks the other players to fill in the missing words. The reader keeps the story a secret, so players just supply random words based on the prompt (like "noun" or "adjective").

Types of Words Needed:

• Noun: A person, place, or thing (e.g., "bunny," "Easter eggs," or "basket").

• Verb: An action word (e.g., "hop," "hide," or "decorate").

• Adjective: A word that describes something (e.g., "fluffy," "colourful," or "springy").

1. Read the Story: Once all the blanks are filled, the reader shares the completed Mad Libs story aloud. With the random words, the results are usually hilarious!

Example: If the story asks for an adjective and a noun, you might end up with something like this: "The fluffy Easter Bunny hopped over the chocolate eggs at the village parade!"

Free Printable Earth Day Hat. 

Celebrate our beautiful planet with this fun and easy Earth Day craft! Whether you're making these at home or in the classroom, they're a great activity for kids and adults alike and with two adorable designs to choose from, there's something for everyone.

All you need is a downloaded template, some cardstock, scissors, and your favourite colouring supplies. I recommend using a lightweight cardstock or good-quality thick paper to give your hat a bit of extra sturdiness.

Simply colour in and decorate your chosen design before cutting out the extra strips for the headband. It's as easy as that!

These hats are also a perfect way to get kids practising their fine motor skills, though young children may need a little help with the cutting parts.

7. Attach side strips to the main piece to make the headband.

Each template has two extension pieces, so it's great for older kids and adults.

Easter Origami Carrots You Can Make in Minutes.

If you're looking for a simple, fun activity to do before Easter, you are going to love these cute origami carrots.

I’m obsessed with how pretty these origami carrots turned out! They are such a fun spring paper craft to make with kids and they look gorgeous in a basket or as a table centrepiece.

Whether you use them as table decorations, party favours, gift toppers, or just a fun afternoon paper craft, these little carrots are as versatile as they are cute.

These origami carrots are totally kid-friendly, making them perfect for Easter parties, classroom activities, or a cosy rainy afternoon at home.

You can customise them with any patterned paper you love; gingham, florals, and pastels are absolutely gorgeous for spring.

And the best part? They're incredibly budget-friendly, since all you need is origami paper or any square piece of decorative paper you already have on hand.

What You'll Need:

• Square sheets of paper (6" x 6" works great for standard-sized carrots)

  For the carrot body: orange, coral, yellow, or any spring-coloured paper

  For the leafy top: green paper or green gingham.

• Optional: a bone folder for crisp creases

How to Make the Carrot Body.

1. Place your square paper coloured-side down on your work surface. Rotate it so it looks like a diamond (one corner pointing up, one pointing down).

2. Fold in half diagonally.

3. Open it back out.

4. Fold the sides in toward the centre crease to make a kite shape.

5. Repeat and fold the sides in toward the centre crease for a second time.

6. Fold the top point down to make a triangle.

7. Fold the sides in to make two small triangles.

8. Flip your to reveal the finished carrot shape.

How to Make the Leafy Carrot Top.

1. Place your square paper coloured-side down on your work surface. Rotate it so it looks like a diamond (one corner pointing up, one pointing down).

2. Fold in half diagonally.

3. Fold it half again before opening back out.

4. Fold the left corner across at an angle.

5. Repeat on the other side.

6. Fold the sides in to make the carrot top shape.

7. Flip it over to reveal the finished carrot top.

8. To finish glue the carrot top to the back of the carrot.

How to make DIY Photo Frames (with free printable templates).

1. First, download and print the template onto cardstock (sign up with your email address below to get the printable PDF sent straight to your inbox).

For each frame, you’ll need a front and back piece.

2. Colour in your chosen frame.

3. Cut out the frame and back piece.

4. Use a pair of scissors or a cutting mat and a craft knife to cut out the frame opening.

5. Use a bone folder and ruler to score and fold along the dashed lines on both pieces of the frame.

6. Glue the two flaps on the frame in place to make a pocket.

7. Flip your frame over.

8. Glue the middle part of the back piece onto the middle of the back of the frame.

9. Finally, slide your favourite photo into the frame and just like that, you have a thoughtful, handmade frame ready to gift or decorate your space!

Springtime Bingo Printable.

There are 12 different bingo cards, making it perfect for spring class parties or when you have small groups of kids to keep entertained.

You’ll find sweet spring images like blooming flowers, cheerful rainbows, buzzing bees, fluffy bunnies, umbrellas, butterflies, and more.

All you need is a printer, some white cardstock, a pair of scissors, and of course, something fun to use as bingo markers!

Here’s what’s included:

1 Call Sheet with instructions and all the cheerful spring images.

12 Unique Cards.

Use jelly beans, pastel M&Ms, small candies, buttons, or colourful pom-poms as bingo markers.

If you’d like to reuse the cards year after year, laminate them and play with dry-erase markers instead!

Instructions.

1. Download the Free Printable Bingo Boards and Instruction/Calling Card sheet below.

2. Print them out on white card stock or thick white paper.

3. Take the Instructions/Calling Cards sheet and cut out the individual cards using a paper trimmer or scissors.

4. Place the cards into a bowl or turn them upside down in the centre of the table.

6. Each person picks one of the 12 cute Spring bingo cards.  

7. Take turns picking a card from the bowl or turning them over.

8. Each player places a marker on top of the matching picture.

9. The first person to get 3 in a row yells BINGO! to win.

Notes:

• Change it up and instead of players taking turns picking a card, you could have a designated bingo caller calling out the pictures.

• Make it a rule that you have to fill the whole card for a win or maybe get a row in 2 different directions.

• Want to use your cards again next year? Laminate your set and save them for later. No counters? Use washable dot markers on your laminated pages. Wipe them clean so you can use them again.

How to make a DIY Valentine’s Heart Wreath.

1. Print the wreath design onto sturdy cardstock or paper.

I printed out two sets of the hearts and flowers page to make the wreath below.

2. Colour in the wreath template.

3. Cut out all the pieces. 

4. Arrange the hearts, bow and flowers on the blank wreath base.

You can use the base provided or cut the middle out of a paper plate.

5. Once you're happy with how the wreath looks, glue the paper hearts and flowers onto the base.

6. Tape some twine or ribbon to the back of the wreath to hang.

Add a finishing touch by decorating your own wreath with pom-poms, glitter glue, or sequins to make it your own.

How to Make These Printable Valentine’s Day Cards.

1. Download the Free Craft Templates - Print them on cardstock or regular paper (cardstock works best for sturdier cards!).

2. Colour in the Designs - Let the kids (or yourself!) have fun colouring in the designs before folding them. Use crayons, coloured pencils or markers

3. Cut Out the Designs - Carefully cut along the lines. If you’re crafting with little kids, they may need a little help.

3. Flip the card over.

4. Fold the card towards you along the dashed line at the top part of the gift.

5. Flip the card back over.

6. To complete the gift, bring the folded edge down and line it up with the bottom dashed line.

7. Press down firmly.

8. Now you can open and close them and the cute Valentine character will pop out.

3. Open the PDF file in Adobe Reader. Choose your favourite card or print all 6 card designs. 

4. You can use regular copy paper but for best results, print these cards on white cardstock paper or matte photo paper and simply cut them out.

   I love using a paper cutter for projects like this to ensure smooth, professional edges.

5. Print as many as you need and colour.
