“Live Passionately”

I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.–Psalm 3:5
Luke 5:18-20;24-26
Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins…” He said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

John 10:10 & Other Selected Passages

DOB: ___________—— ___________

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.–Psalm 90:12

PRINCIPLE 1: JESUS LIVED ________________

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.–John 10:10b

To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children sitting in a marketplace and calling out to each other: “We played the flute for you and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.”–Luke 7:31-32

PRINCIPLE 2: JESUS LOVED ______________

Jesus knew the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he showed them the full extent of his love.–John 13:1

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”–Mark 10:30-31

PRINCIPLE 3: JESUS LEARNED ___________

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death–even death on a cross.–Philippians 2:5-8

“During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered…”–Hebrews 5:7-8

MY 30 DAY LEARNING PLAN…I WILL…

GIVE GOD THE ______ _________ OF _________ __________

GIVE GOD THE _____ _________ OF __________ __________

GIVE GOD THE _____ _________ OF ________ ____________

GIVE GOD ________ __________ IN ALL MY ______________

PRINCIPLE 4: JESUS LEFT _________

As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus set out resolutely for Jerusalem. –Luke 9:51
