PRARAMBH & Mechatonics Engineering Department is organizing a one day workshop on 'Basics of Robotics - Wired Robotics' on 10th October, 2010. The Workshop deals with learning the art of making the basic wired robots.
The Workshop will focus on the following topics:

Basics of Chassis and its Selection
Basics of motors and its selection
Selection of wheels for various tarrains
Basics of DPDT switches.
How to connect DPDT switches
Assembling the various components

The registration fees and schedule of workshop is detailed below:

Registration Fee	Rs. 80 per person (non Prarambh Members) Rs. 60 per person (Prarambh Members)
Schedule of Workshop. 10th October	9:00 AM to 1:00 PM 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Microcontroller Workshop

Prarambh again conducted a nice workshop on Microcontroller Applications. In this workshop the content was How to select the controller, How to generate HEX File, How to load the program, Interfacing with LCD, Sensors, Motors, PWN,etc were nicely taught with hands-on sessions. Many students had solves their doubts and they can easily make their projects now. Even the bot sent by IIT - Bombay was displayed

History of Prarambh

PRARAMBH, The GCET Project Club working under the roof of GCET was started ON 18^th July, 2007. The Main aim of PRARAMBH is to provide technical guidance to students participating in various technical events.

In 2008-2009 year, ‘PRARAMBH’ had 472 student members. Under the banner of ‘PRARAMBH’ 26 teams had participated in various events at DDIT, CIT-CHANGA, NIRMA, IIT-BOMBAY, IIT- Chennai, SVNIT etc. and many of them could secure top 3 positions. Around 100 students took help of ‘PRARAMBH’ and participated in various technical events like ROBORACE, GLIDERS, SOLAR ROBOTICS, ROBOWARS, PROJECT PRESENTATIONS, PAPER PRESENTATIONS, etc .at various colleges like CIT –Changa, DDIT , MSU , IIT BOMBAY , IIT-CHENNAI ,NIRMA, SVNIT & MANY OTHER.

To help students participating in various events, club is conducting technical workshops regularly.
