Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages, I am proud to present you (the readers) the all new GeckoandFly, re-branded with a new layout that took few 4 days to tweak. This theme is named after Willie Wagtail, an Australian passerine bird that caught my attention and not to mention the close encounter I had when the bird pecked me for being too close to its nest.

Their most notable feature (and what gives them their name) is their long black tail, which they fan out and “wag” from side to side when hunting. Even while perching they will flick their long tails from side to side, twisting about looking for prey. Isn’t that cute?

According to Wikipedia: “It is moderately territorial, particularly when nesting, and will readily chase off larger birds or other animals.”

Willie Wagtail is no bigger than the fist of a teenager, probably the size of a small boy’s fist, yet the most amazing thing I came across on my way to university is the sight of Willie Wagtail attacking a Raven slightly smaller than the size of an American football.

After toying around with my router for a couple of weeks, I’ve discovered various ways of accessing youtube or any other websites using different techniques such as IP address and proxy surfing. These are simple techniques that do not require the help of a computer nerd.

The IP Address technique - little knowledge is needed, all you need to do is key in the IP address of youtube server and you’re in, this technique works if the network administrator doesn’t block the ip address of the server. Usually the network administrator filters website based on the URL address and not the IP address.

The other technique is proxy surfing - embedproxies.com is the only proxy site that doesn’t disable javascript, thus allowing you to watch videos from youtube, for websites that doesn’t utilize javascript such as youtube, any other proxy sites are good enough.

Please use these methods at your own risk, for your information, most network administrator monitor the web traffic and your chances of getting caught for bypassing their filters are literally quite high.
