Had the day off - spent time at the lake soaking up more sun and feeding the ducks. Did ya know ducks love Pringles? - Did ya know that if the ducks don't get Pringles according to their schedule they just might come up and nip ya on the foot?

Oh and I learned that ducks can beat up sea gulls...

And even with all that I got updates for ya - granted a little later and slightly fewer than a normal Monday - but I got it.

Enjoy, Catch ya tomorrow!

Google Gives advice on How to Avoid Internet Scams

Spammers attempt to reach users by generating hundreds of webpages and sending out a flood of spam emails, sometimes even buying advertisements on reputable websites. Their sites also target other popular Internet companies. They may include family photos pilfered from another site or a picture of a check they supposedly received. Spammers use a wide range of techniques that try to slip past automatic filters to get to you.

Scroll down to the middle part and copy / paste.

In general, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Here are some pointers on what to look out for:

    * Before you fill out a form or give someone a credit card, do a web search to see what other people are saying about the company and its practices.

    * Be wary of companies that ask for upfront charges for services that Google actually offers for free. Check out our business solutions page before writing a check.

The automaker's new lithium-ion battery, jointly developed by Nissan and Japan's NEC Corp., will expand the range of the purely electric car to more than 100 miles between charges, while decreasing the battery's size and weight, said Mark Perry, director of product planning for Nissan North America, which is based in Franklin.

While 100 miles isn't nearly as far as automakers had hoped for with fresh advances in battery design, it's a vast improvement over the 40-mile range of earlier electric vehicles. Those earlier versions used lead-acid or nickel-metal-hydride battery packs, such as those now found in vehicles like the Toyota Prius gasoline-electric hybrid.

Well, ok it's not a miracle or anything - but it is a step in the right direction for electrics ... Still, the car will never reach the mainstream until it's as easy or easier than gas.
