The new device is part of a battle for the living room strategy. The console will control the TV, is powered by the Cloud and remembers what you were last doing. There’s a trending area in the new interface so you can see what the community is doing.

They’ve a new feature called “Instant Switching” that cuts, on voice command, straight from game, to music and to TV. They’ve created a new set of universal gestures to control the TV.

Roleplayers can pre-order their Xbox One from retailers like GAME already.

Following on Jim Zub’s successful Pathfinder comic book series, now also being offered in a collection called Pathfinder: Dark Waters Rising, Paizo have launched a Pathfinder goblins series too.

Erik Mona informed fans;

“A goblin horde stormed the offices of Paizo, demanding we chronicle their adventures from a goblin point of view,”

“With the threats of what they would do to our pets hanging over us, we had no choice but to transcribe the tales of the goblins.”

Each of the books in the 5-issue monthly series will have a collection of stories. They’ll have two goblin themed shorts from different teams with issue #1 using “The One-Eyed Goblin is King” from Adam Warren, with art from Carlos Gomez, while the second story is written by Erik Mona himself, called “Prize Pupil” and illustrated by Shane White.

The Pathfinder goblins have become quite infmous for their raiding songs, fear of horses and hatred of dogs.

Fans who have subscribed to the Pathfinder comics through paizo.com get 20% off the cover prize, 15% off back and special issues plus other perks. Digital versions are at Comixology.

The Chronicles of Doom is a four part motion comic series that’s been written by Brian Michael Bendis that looks into rise of Doctor Doom’s power. It’s a prequel to Marvel Heroes.

The MMO is expected to include Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America as well as Daredevel and Punisher.
