God of War: Ghost of Sparta For The PSP Features Gameplay Footage And King Midas Beatdown

Not everyone can be bought and that's the cold hard truth King Midas had to learn the hard way. The new God of War Game coming over to the PSP shows good old Kratos beating the crap out of King Midas. The whole trailer features gameplay footage that looks great not to mention all the head bashing and beatdown King Midas got out of Kratos. He's lucky Kratos didn;t slice him up with the Chaos Blades. Everything looks like the other God of War games so I'm betting we're just looking at the story line here to keep us entertained while we play. Gundam Builders Anime Trailer Is About An Anime That's Based On Another Anime

Here's something interesting, an anime based on another anime that's based on a toy. Confused? This up coming anime called Gundam Builders or what's locally known as Gunpla Builders in Japan tells the story of Gundam Model kit building kids. I'm kind of curious about the storyline this would have as well as the conflicts the main characters experience. The trailer actually shows a couple of life-sized Gundams battling one another but I'm not sure how that fits into the whole Gundam Model Building kids. I'm sure Gundam collector's out there would get a kick out of this anime. Maybe I'm just confused because I can't read any of the stuff written on the video after the break.

Papercraft Mortal Kombat Fatalities Video Is Kid Friendly

It's always nice to look back at the games that when out of their way to show us sheer violence. Mortal Kombat was big when it came out because of all the gore and punishment it bestowed upon the losing player's character. But I guess everybody out grew all the blood and gore and started to look for the fun factor which Mortal Kombat really didn't have, so now let's just look back and see all the blood and gore without the actual blood and gore (did I make sense?) with this stop motion video of Mortal Kombat Fatalities done with paper. 10 Evil Video Game Bosses Compared In A Cute Infographic

This infographic showing the top 10 video game bosses is probably geeky as hell but the weird thing is it's being sponsored and provided by a company called Term Life Insurance. Now I'm no expert when it comes to Life Insurance but I'm pretty sure it doesn't involve gaming unless you're one of those guys that play for days without sustenance and die in front of your favorite console or computer shop. Or are they providing your video game character insurance just in case it gets defeated by one of the top 10 video game bosses? I guess companies are starting to realize that geeks are the easiest to marketing something online. You can check the most evil video game bosses being compared using a cute chart after the break.

Street Fighter X Tekken Is The Holy Grail Of Fighting Games

It actually took me a while before I can post this because I was hyperventilating over the news that Street Fighter X Tekken is a real project being developed by Capcom in cooperation with Namco Bandai. This is probably the holy grail of fighting games as both franchises are massively successful in their own right. Street Fighter X Tekken was recently announced over at the San Diego ComicCon and hordes of Street Fighter and Tekken fans went wild and I'm sure I would've fainted if I was there. Logically two versions of the game are being developed where Street Fighter X Tekken is being handled over at Capcom and will most likely use Street Fighter IV's fighting engine while Tekken X Street Fighter will be made over at Namco Bandai which obviously will use Tekken's fighting engine. We got two videos after the break including actual gameplay footage of Ryu and Kazuya going at it plus the official teaser trailer.

All sources are pointing at a release date that would probably take a while since everything is still in the initial phase. So I guess we have a lot of waiting and speculating to go through before we can actually play it. Sleepless nights here we come!

DC Universe Online Teaser Trailer Will Blow Your Head

There's a lot of great stuff in store for us in the online gaming space, we have some stuff for kids and now we have something for the comic book geeks that've been waiting for something epic to come to our doorstep. DC Universe Online is probably the most anticipated game to come out of 2010 and it's only a matter of time before we get our hands on one this November. I just hope it's as good as we expect since a lot of big name heroes are riding on it. I wonder which heroes we can play as or are we going to create our very own DC Universe Online characters. I can only say the teaser trailer after the break is enough to spin your head.

Barbie Just Swallowed A Web Cam And LCD

Like the rest of the world I'm really not sure why Mattel would stick a web cam and LCD up Barbie's ass. I know she's trying to go all techie on us but I think this is going too far. I mean it looks like a freakin' spy cam for young innocent girls. I've been searching around and so far this looks like it's not yet ready for mass consumption which is good and I really hope pervs don't get all creative with this thing. The guys over at TechCrunch got one of these sent to them and they posted a video and we have it embedded after the break.

Lego Universe Online Has Hideous Brick Shaped In-Game Pets

Oh Lego, you never seize to amaze us with all the things you can do. It's like you know what we want to make even before we realize it. Like having pets in your very own online game, Lego Universe is set to be released this October 26th 2010 to children and most likely adults who refuse to grow up. The creators just released a couple more trailers of the game's features and what you can do in Lego Universe. One of the things I like is the ability to train your very own pet, I know you'll love this weird bricked creature even though they look like hideous freaks and are probably as big as your in-game character. You can watch the video after the break explaining how you can get your very own pet in Lego Universe and what you can do with the little... err... big guy in the game.

Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters Sounds Like A Great Prequel To The Movie

It looks like DC's been busy with promoting everything Green Lantern. Apparently DC's intergalactic cop franchise is slowly crawling it's way into a lot of things including a movie a couple of animated films and now a Video Game. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is probably one of the epic milestones in Green Lantern, for the unfamiliar the Manhunters are the emotionless robot cops the Green Lanterns replaced. Right after they figured they were better than everybody else the Manhunters tried to take over the universe just like that little toaster of yours. The game is being developed by the guys over at Double Helix and I really hope they do a good job because you really don't want to disappoint hordes of geeks who literally own the interwebs. Tron Legacy's Full Movie Trailer Has All The Visual Effects And Action Scenes You Need

Disney's Tron Legacy is really shaping up to be a great movie, visual effects wise. I'm really not sure what's going on with the whole young and old Jeff Bridges in the trailer but if your into all the great visuals and action scenes, not to mention all the light cycles speeding through each cut scene then your eyes would probably have the time of their lives when you watch the full on Tron Legacy Movie trailer after the break.

Figurines Go Open Source With Blank Android Collectible Figures

Dyzplastic is at it again and they're really getting into Google's Android. I'm sure you remember they released series one of their very successful Android collectibles figures with designs the employees themselves cooked up. Now they're giving everybody a chance to make their own customized Android figure in whatever image they so desire. Just as long as you have $6 to burn and a lot of patience. They've been selling limited numbers of the blank Android figures over at the San Diego Comic-Con each day so that they can spread the love to other Android fanatics. But if you really want a steady supply you might want to wait for their online store to start ramping up their stocks. A couple more images of the albino Android figure after the break.

Starcraft 2 Trailer "Ghosts Of The Past"

With only one more day before we sacrifice our social life to play Starcraft 2 I happened to stumble upon a trailer every Starcraft 2 player should watch to keep us sane in the next 40 hours or so of waiting for our local shops to deliver the latest version of Starcraft to our cold sweaty hands. The latest trailer is called "Ghosts of the Past" and centers around Jim Raynor and how he blames himself for what happened to Kerrigan. They can really turn this thing into a movie which I'm pretty sure would sell out faster than you can say hydralisk. I'm already watching it for the third time and boredom still isn't getting any closer. I can rave all about the video after the break but I'd rather let you watch it yourself.

Eraser USB Flash Drive Will Erase Your Notes And Save Your Files

I'm not sure if this is what they call "ironic" but the Eraser USB Flash Drive is a great way to get the word out on Alzheimer's and it's effect on people. Apparently these fully functioning erasers were hollowed out to make room for a usb flash drive with a capacity I can't seem to remember. Anyway, these were given out to politicians and local institutions and a couple more people I forgot about. The advertising agency responsible for these cute erasers would like to remind everyone how important our memories are and that we should treasure them in anyway possible, like putting precious images on these USB Flash Drives. Now if only I can remember what I was supposed to do before I started writing this post. I remember posting a couple more images after the break but that's far as my little brain can go.

Japan's Life Sized Neon Genesis Evangelion Robot Is Hidden In A Cave

Another day another geek tourist spot in Japan. Here's one more place to visit before you kick the bucket, the Life-Sized Neon Genesis Evangelion Bust is on display at the Fuji-Q Highland theme park. It opened last July 23, 2010 and is slowly getting crowds wanting to see Eva-01 in all it's life-sized glory. Now it's really obvious that Japan is planning to over run each country with a giant robot. I'm still waiting for the life-sized Voltes V to show up or maybe even Daimos. But for now check on the break to see more shots of Eva-01's head and a couple of cosplaying girls.

ANA's Gundam Branded Boeing 777 Doesn't Transport Actual Gundams

It looks like Japan is really taking the 30th Anniversary of the Gundam Model Kits seriously, and why the hell not since they're going to use life-sized Gundams to rule the world. Apparently All Nippon Airways partnered with Bandai to produce it's first Gundam Branded Boeing 777 which will take Gundam crazed fans all over Japan. I'm pretty sure this is all a cover up, they're really testing ways to transport all those Gundams into enemy territory undetected. Why else would they have a decal of a Gundam lying on the other side of the plane? It's true! Check the break for all the video footage of it's maiden voyage.

Green Lantern Movie Previews With Ryan Reynolds' Glowing Costume

I guess Ryan Reynolds will be the next guy to be worshiped by comic book fans all over the world or should I say Green Lantern Comic book fans including myself. Not too mention that he's sharing a bed with Scarlett Johansson. Ryan Reynolds landing the part of the cosmic cop is probably old news and I guess a lot of us are relieved to know that Justin Timberlake didn't make the cut because well... I don't know... maybe he was too curly I guess, among other things. Ryan Reynolds sure looks like Hal Jordan but I really can't shake the feeling that he's more of a comedic smart ass than what's necessary for the part. I just hope the director knows what he's doing because a lot of geeks are going to watch this movie armed with their own blogs to post about how great or terrible it is. We have the whole front cover if you want to see the whole costume.

Is it just me or does the mask look photoshopped? Or is it that terrible?

Megaman Universe Teaser Trailer - Needs A Dose Of Gameplay Footage

I'm not really sure what Capcom wants to happen with Megaman Universe and the trailer after the break doesn't even show any gameplay footage. But if what we saw from the teaser is any indication it looks like Megaman would be all over every other game that came out of Capcom including and I guess not limited to Street Fighter the Knight with a lance which I totally forgot about and a couple more games I probably missed. I don't think I'm excited with this game and I think it's mainly because of all the stop motion graphics they used on the video. I just hope we see some gameplay footage soon if they still want me to be interested (as if they'd care). I'm not a fan of the Megaman Universe trailer but you might want to check it out after the break out of sheer curiosity.

Ever wondered what a Gundam would look like after it goes through a trash compactor? It would probably look something close to the Gundam Mobile Phone Charms, only the real thing would be a thousand times bigger of course. The Gundam Mobile Phone Charms feature some of your favorite Gundams in cute little cubes that would look great on any mobile phone, including those cheap analog ones you always bring along for that extra sim card. Each Gundam Cube would set you back USD 6.00 which is probably more than I'm willing to pay for a small plastic box with a robot head. Lego Futurama - People From The Future Are Made Of Colorful Plastic Bricks

The Lego onslaught continues and it seems like the future is full of bricked people namely characters from Futurama. I guess all the apocalyptic scientists were wrong, we won't be over run by robots with laser beams coming out of there eyes we are actually doomed to become Lego bricks. I'm really not sure how that would happen but with the way things are going now eventually everything will be made of colorful plastic bricks. I know it's a scary thought but let's just enjoy these cute little lego creations that turned the metal bending robot... err... Bender... into a couple of plastic bricks. We have a couple more images of the lobster dude and that girl with one eye all bricked and legolized after the break.

I'm sure everybody expected this, it was inevitable anyway. Everything that's cool eventually gets a Lego made in it's image. There's really nothing those cool interlocking bricks can't make and now even Apple's latest and greatest magical device has been bricked. With everybody singing his tunes and screaming his name Justin Bieber is probably one of the most successful talents to branch out of YouTube along side our very own Charice Pempengco of course. But it seems like Justin Bieber is going to 1up Charice with his very own comic book to be released this October entitled "Fame". Here's a clip of what it's about:

500 Million Friends Movie Just Released The Full Trailer

The "500 Million Friends Movie" officially titled "The Social Network" or most commonly known as "The Facebook Movie" just released it's full official trailer onto the interwebs, and it's showing off great scenes and cool creep-y music too. I can say this movie is going to be a hit because it's got everything we need... college guys and gals, raging hormones, betrayal and of course lots and lots of money. Not to mention it's about the most famous social network on the planet to date. I don't know about the other countries but since the Philippines is the social networking capital of Asia and a lot of it is due to Facebook I'm sure hordes of it's users will be curious enough to go see it, specially when you see the full trailer after the break.

If you spend a lot of time online chances are you've already heard about Chat Roulette. Some people say it's the greatest innovation in instant messaging to date, or probably the quickest way to get judged by other people you don't know. It's basically video chat integrated into a website but the thing is you don't know who or what kind of person you'll get and they can easily move on to the next person if they don't like what you look like and there's absolutely nothing you ca do about it. I'm thinking it's definitely not for somebody with low self esteem or somebody with way too much hair, I can go on and on but I think the video after the jump will do a better job than me rambling about what I think it is.

I Don't Think Pinoys Are Concerned About Facebook's Privacy Policy

Every other day we hear people in the US honking their horns over Facebook's privacy policy and how Facebook will eventually know everything about you and how you breathe and how you walk. Now I'm really not sure or I may have missed it on the local news, probably because I was watching so many cartoons and anime at the time but I really haven't come across anyone here in the Philippines that's really concerned about all this privacy policy stuff. I guess most of us still aren't aware of the dangers of having you're information up in the cloud for anyone to pick up and maybe even make money off of. So just in case you wake up one of these days knowing how much your profile information is worth you might want to check on the video after the break to get the rundown in a cute way, not like the hundreds of pages you have to read and never finish anyway.

Scientists Prove The Chicken Came Before The Egg - Killing Off Useless Debates Once and For All

You have to leave it to the hardcore nerds to take the fun off of everything we simpletons ridicule. The age old question of "Which came first? The chicken or the egg?" has finally been solved. Now I really don't know why the nerd heads over at Sheffield University UK even bothered to seriously look into the question but it all points to some kind of plot to rid the world of useless debates stemming from useless questions. Anyway, they say the chicken came first because a protein called ovocledidin-17 or commonly known as OC-17 was needed to create the shell of the egg, so something had to evolve into a chicken before we can have "chicken eggs". So let's move along people there's nothing funny to see here. Next challenge? Why Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall in the first place.
