I'm not really a fan of history because I tend to focus more on the new stuff ahead rather than old buildings and how slow the internet was. I know and appreciate what the generations before us had to go through so let's not get into all that "never reaching your destination without looking back" comment bashing. Anyways, if the horror - history movie mashup Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is to be believed than I guess Abraham wasn't just a great president he also probably saved the entire human race from being cattle to the blood sucking monsters we call vampires. Yup, the real ones that die in the sun and not sparkle like the gay ones we see every now and then. If the trailer is anything like the actual movie than we'll probably have a great time learning about an alternative history where Abraham not only chopped a tree among other things. Waiting - Smart Post Paid Plans For The Samsung Galaxy S3

Just posted about Globe's post paid plans for the Samsung Galaxy S3 so I guess it wouldn't be fair to Smart if I didn't post about they're post paid offering for Samsung's latest and greatest smart phone. Far as I can see on the pre order page of Smart's Samsung Galaxy S3 I really can't see any prices or any other information about what current plans will be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S3. All I see is a sign up page to reserve, I'm assuming we will get more information when they invite me to the launch party if and when there is such a thing that Smart Philippines is planning. For now all we can do is sign up and see what pricing and post paid information Smart will send us before Samsung's new flagship phone reaches our shores.

I know it's been quite a while since Globe's opened up it's pre-order page for the Samsung Galaxy S3 with a list of the available post paid plans. Now I know there's going to be a launch party one of these days and I'm really hoping the people handling the Globe Samsung Galaxy S3 Launch Party invitations stumble on my blog and decide to send an invite my way. I have to say that the post paid plans for the Samsung Galaxy S3 are looking very similar to what they offered with the iPhone 4S last December with a focus on "bill shock" as the main reminder to everyone who's getting in on the action without an unlimited data or internet plan. Rumor: iPod Touch 5 Has A BIgger 4.1 Inch Screen

It's been a while since we heard anything new about the iPod Touch. You know, the supposed iPhone without the actual phone capabilities? Well if the suspected leaked image above is to be believed I think we're going to see a bigger iPod Touch 5, 4.1" bigger screen to be exact. Now as most of you Apple Fanboys out there probably know this would be a clear indication that the iPhone5 may be headed for a bigger screen size. As always this is still all under the rumor mill until we hear something official from the guys over at Cupertino. For now this'll probably help us dream of a bigger screen on our iPhones while every other major smart phone out there is going for the kill.

Diablo 3 On the iPhone? - Infinity Blade: Dungeons Gameplay Trailer

If you had your face planted on any kind of screen connected to the interwebs you probably heard of Diablo3. Yes, I know it's the greatest and fastest selling game to date but like every other mortal out there who needs to actually go to work and travel around just to make ends meet and actually earn something to play or even feed, we can't play unless we stay put. That's why I'm waiting for Infinity Blade: Dungeons. I know it's not as great as Diablo 3 but I can play this game anywhere even while I'm sitting on the toilet. Just look at the trailer after the break and see how the gameplay works. All this talk about the toilet just reminded me I needed to be somewhere. Thanks to Joystiq for letting us mere mortals catch a glimpse of the actual gameplay.

The iPhone5 Does Not Exist - Yet...

I know everyone who's been holding out on the iPhone 4S is waiting patiently for Apple's next generation iPhone, or more commonly known as the iPhone5. Contrary to what feeble minds have been saying, as of this posting we still have no official word of the iPhone5. I know concept photos like the one above are all around the web and as much as we'd like these mock ups to be the real thing we can't say for sure what the iPhone5 will be like until we hear it straight from Apple itself. As Apple releases new gadgets around a reliable cycle at that, we can expect to hear official word of the new iPhone5 around October of this year and when I say "around" that means anytime from September 2012 to November 2012. The iPhone 4S was announced last October 2011 to us mere mortals and was released to us here in the Philippines around mid December of 2011 so if the iPhone5 were announced we can expect the same months of delay or even more before it reaches our shores or even have a Philippine peso equivalent of it's price. The reason I'm writing this post is to remind you all that we are already at the rumor stage of the iPhone5 so you can expect people around the web or news wires to say what the iPhone5 "might" be like, but until we here from Apple's CEO himself I'd advise everyone to just concentrate on what we currently have now. But if you're planning to buy a new smart phone around August 2012 you might want to hold off and just wait for the official iPhone5 announcement to see what this next magical device from Apple is capable of. Just saying...

Go ahead and check the break to see what Loki and the immortal Agent Coulson have to say about the items. Yes, I said immortal Agent Coulson because he's definitely alive and well. A guy that cool will never die in a movie. Just like Loki was still alive after falling down a whole new universe which would've killed anyone including a Demi God. If Agent Coulson was dead the Avengers would've buried him first before going to the Shawarma place. Anyways, I'm sure he's about to get new recruits for the next Avengers Movie and I'm kind of hoping they grab Ms. Marvel. I wonder what earth shattering event Thanos has in store for the next movie? If you sleep like me you probably dozed off the entire Annular Solar Eclipse. And like any decent netizen I depend on YouTube to give me a glimpse of the astronomical event when I can't find the time to watch it when it actually happens. Science guys are calling this the Annular Solar Eclipse which in lay man's term is the ring of fire. I like the latter one better as it gives me hope that somewhere out there someone's actually getting super powers just by doing some kind of ritual. I wonder what happens when you actually have sex under the ring of fire? Anyways, I guess it's too late to find out. Not that anyone will do the deed with me. As the world turns and every other mobile phone out there is trying to make your digital camera useless by taking better pictures or doing more like editing images on the go. Nokia's latest and greatest smartphone to date the Lumia 900 is no exception to this rule and while it's playing catch up with the giants of the smartphone industry it's trying to get developers on the Windows Mobile bandwagon. One great app to come out for the Nokia Lumia 900 is the Camera Extension App which features an interesting Smart Group Shot mode. The idea is the camera takes a burst of 5 shots and you can change or swap the best head for each person in the group. Because you know, sometimes somebody has their eyes closed while some people have perfect smiles or angles. I'm pretty sure there's an app like this on Android or iOS but I'm too lazy to check so for now just go ahead and check the demo after the break.

It looks like our favorite spy is back with an all new action heavy movie. The new James Bond Movie Skyfall is set to grace our mortal eyes this coming November 2012. As much as I like the smooth playboy antics of Pierce Brosnan's version of 007 I'm liking Danielle Craig's version a lot more. I think it's the overdose of testosterone that makes me want to see explosions and big guns rather than all the flirting and stuff. I don't know what Skyfall's about but I'm sure we're going to know more about it in the next couple of months. For now go ahead and check out the trailer I have embedded after the break.

It was bound to happen and I'm glad it did. This Pixar Avengers mashup should be turned into a full length movie of some sort. Or maybe a short animated film would do. Can somebody with a lot of time on their hands start working on this? I'm sure it'll give the Incredibles a run for it's money. I'd do it myself but I have no skills when it comes to illustration or animation. I can barely draw a stick figure. All that aside I have no freaking idea who they put in the Iron Man suit and it's driving me crazy. If you know who he is be nice and put his name in the comments. Please.

Animated Zombie Apocalypse FTW!!! - The Goon Animated Movie Trailer 2

Zombie apocalypse movies have been popping up lately and with good reason, zombies are freaking great. They can basically do anything they want assuming they still have the limbs needed to do the task. Now I know we're already used to seeing zombie movies and tv shows but for some reason we haven't seen a CG animated version of the Zombie apocalypse. Luckily the guys over at Blur Studios decided to produce The Goon movie. The Goon is actually a comic book from Dark Horse publishing and features a host of monsters with a comedic twist. I'm glad it's being turned into a CG Animated Film and you'll probably feel the same way after watching the trailer after the break.

Like most losers out here on the interweb I haven't played a minute of Diablo 3... yet. If I were able to play I wouldn't be posting this in the first place or sleeping and eating. If you ever get tired of killing the hordes of ugly monsters from hell than you might want to try and find the secret level Whimsyshire where you get to kill unicorns in a wonderland where rainbows and sweet dreams come true. There's even a laughing cloud at the end of the rainbow. I'd probably head to these level once I grab a copy and find some time to play. Just because I'd love to kill unicorns and scare the hell out of some dancing plants and flowers. Go ahead and check it out after the break. Who's The Best Video Game Character? - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

If you've come to love the Sony's Playstation as much as any other video game geek out there then you probably have your eyes set on grabbing PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale when it comes out around the end of 2012. If you haven't heard it features major video game characters from major Playstation titles including Clown from Twisted Metal, Kratos from God of War and Rappa the Rapper among many others. The gameplay looks to be inspired by Smash Bros. but most of the loyal "Smashers" tend to disagree. I'm not really sure why as I haven't played both of the games yet but for me they kind of look similar. Anyways, go ahead and be the judge by watching the trailer after the break.

There comes a time that we're so bored out of our skulls that we start asking simple questions that only the smartest guys in the world know how to answer. Apparently one of the complicated questions is how we currently measure the universe. I'm pretty sure my small brain can't handle all the information from wikipedia and whatever other nerdy stuff a google search would dish out. I'm not even sure if I can compute the square root of anything or any other mathematical equation aside from addition and subtraction. Luckily the guys over at the Royal Observatory of Greenwich made a simple video that pretty much explains everything with moving pictures and a smooth voice that I can listen to rather than sleep to. It's a great way to learn something new in exchange for 4 minutes of your boring life.

It looks like the sidekicks are about to take the stage at Batman: Arkham City! With the upcoming DLC Harley Quinn's Revenge you'll be able to play as Tim Drake or more commonly known as Robin. I'm not really sure how great this game is as I haven't played a minute of it but based on the reviews I'm sure it'll keep me awake for hours on end. Robin's looking cool with his combat moves in game and I think he's got his own story mode to fill in this download. There's a lot to look forward to in this expansion so you might want to save some space on your console's hard drive. You can go ahead and download all the action on May 29th but for now drool over the video after the break!

The iPhone5 Has A 4 Inch Screen - Hopefully

It's that same time of the year again where rumors of the next iPhone (or more commonly known as the iPhone5 nowadays) are starting to roll out. And it looks like the most obvious and popular one to come out of the interwebs is that the iPhone5 will have a bigger screen, around 4 inches as opposed to the 3.5 inches we currently have now. This news doesn't come as a surprise to most of us who generally scour the web for news about the iPhone5. I think this rumor's based around the fact that most of the supposed "iPhone killers" out there are sporting a bigger screen. Now as much as I'd like my iPhone to have a bigger screen I don't think the extra .5 inches will do me any good. The only thing I care about right now is if they make improvements to the battery and probably a better front camera. I'm also wondering about the actual release date here in the Philippines but that's too early to tell since there's still no official announcement from Apple if the device actually already exists. I know the price will probably hurt our wallets when we get it here on our side of the world but usually it takes a while before the local telecommunications companies to get a hold of stocks and come up with decent post paid plans. Oh, and just so you know the image above isn't the official iPhone5. It's just a concept design I pulled out of a web search.

Everyday we see new gadgets claiming that they can do more things than any other gadget in the market. Some will let you do more things that you didn't actually do in the first place. Now it looks like Nokia's latest and greatest gadget the Lumia 900 is telling carpenters out there that the Nokia Lumia 900 can also be used as an alternative hammer. Oh you know, the one you use to pound nails into wood and walls. In the video after the break the Lumia 900 will be hammered and used to drive a nail into a piece of wood. Now I don't think you'd want to do this to your actual phone or if the iPhone5's glass is as durable but it's good to know how tough the glass is on the Nokia Lumia 900. Now if only we can get more decent apps out of Nokia.

Traditionally Geeky Art - Video Game Characters Japanese Art Style

If you've been lucky enough to visit the land of big robots, anime and cosplay you probably ran into some of the traditional forms of artwork there. Japanese artists from eons ago not only painted on paper some were hardcore enough to paint on wood blocks. It's all great and all but for some reason artist Jed Henry felt it needed some kind of modern geek twist. Hence, these video game character were immortalized in traditional Japanese art. I'm sure you're already curious to see what the whole Megaman illustration looks like but to make you jiggle in excitement (yes, I used the word jiggle), there's also Samus and Link somewhere after the break. I don't know about you but I'm feeling pretty zen like after looking at the great pieces of art.
