WhatsApp to Allow Users to Send Voice Notes Without Holding Record Button

WhatsApp is undoubtedly the world's most popular instant messaging app. The app provides a great user interface and amazing functionality, but the UI has certain flaws. One of the most prominent defects that users have faced for years is how WhatsApp handles voice memos. WhatsApp currently needs to hold down the microphone button until you send a voice recording. This is not a problem for a long voice note, but it can be a hassle to keep pressing the button while sending a long voice note. Thankfully, WhatsApp tries to change it all.

As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new implementation of recording voice memos that can be navigated within chats when recording voice notes without pressing the microphone button. When you start recording a voice note, WhatsApp automatically displays a new UI for the microphone button after 0.5 seconds. Just swipe your finger to "lock" your voice memo. I always said that MIUI 9 is one of the best Android ROMs on the market. I understand that it is not for everyone, but those who give the opportunity surely enjoy it. In other words, a part of MIUI was broken in the past and always protruded like a painful thumb. If you are an avid MIUI user, you need to know what I'm talking about, but if you do not already understand, I'm talking about the shade. MIUI's adoption of Android's Notification Shade has always been primitive to me. I was not bundled with notifications from the same app, and I did not like the fact that there was no easy way to reply inline from an alert.
Thankfully, MIUI 9 handles all problems. MIUI 9 has a notification bundle feature, which basically bundles all notifications for the same app. This means that if you receive multiple messages from WhatsApp or another messaging app, you will not receive a separate notification for each message. MIUI 9 also provides fast response. This works similarly to the quick reply feature of stock Android. That means you can swipe your reminder and reply right there.

MIUI 9 also introduces several notification styles that change the notification style based on the notification type. In the figure above, you can see how MIUI 9 handles different types of notifications. MIUI 9 provides a download link inside the notification in the first example. Why would you try a new browser?

I am using MacBook Air in 2014. Chrome can handle Chrome, but it's starting to show signs of the old version. As a result of Chrome's efforts to gain fame, you would not have used Chrome at all, unless you had too many browsers and Safari was too much for WordPress.

Face ID on iPhone X Not Working or Disabled? Try This

From Samsung Gear 2 to Apple Watch 3, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, as well as more and more devices are adopting new technologies as the mainstream. So what is eSIM and how do you make it easier to connect to a cellular network? Please keep reading to know more.

What is eSIM?

eSIM is a built-in SIM card in electronic devices that stores all the information needed to identify and authenticate mobile subscribers. Unlike traditional SIM cards, eSIM is a non-replaceable embedded chip that is soldered directly to the motherboard of the device to provide machine-to-machine (M2M) functionality.
