You must probably heard about it, from the news on the television or to the mob of teenagers wearing the "I love TWILIGHT" t-shirts outside the bookshop where Stephenie Meyer held her book-signing. The new phenomenon right after Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings took the whole world like wildfire. TWILIGHT, which was a novel about a vampire who fell in love with the girl he ever so wanted to kill. It was written by Stephenie Meyer from Phoenix Arizona, who received instant and unbelievable fame and fortune after the hit of her novel. After the release of her books, the movie was made, starring Kristen Stewart as the main female name Bella Swan with Robert Pattinson as the vampire, Edward Cullen.

To those who have read the series, they would probably say that this is just one of those boring vampire books that are being released every now and then all around the world. But this is something far from ordinary; different because no one had probably wrote something about a vampire, though fighting the urge of killing her, still fell in love with a frail and warm-blooded human. Despite all the trials, challenges and holding back (they can't even kiss properly because Edward might be overwhelmed and kill Bella in one move), their love prevailed in the end, at the last book entitled "Breaking Dawn".Twilight had swept fans off their feet with this story of unconditional love with a happy ending. From grade school girls up to their mothers, all had their noses buried to these four books created by Meyer. Mrs. Rita Johnson (a mother of two and works as an Elisa Kit Manufacturer) posted on one of the fan forums that she loved Twilight because it brought her out from reality into the mystical realm of vampires. It was totally addicting to some of the teenagers who became instant avid fan girls, collecting the books, the movies, from shirts to notebooks to collector items stuffs.Even the schools adapted TWILIGHT on their vampire-themed proms. During the past Halloween, almost everyone dressed as Dracula or just used too much powder on their faces to emphasize the pale complexions of the vampires on Meyer's books. Twilight Saga might be another Harry Potter phenomenon, struck the world in one snap, and might disappear in a flash of light as well (or most probably after the fourth movie was done). But still, right now, Twilight inspired teenagers about love and life and how to realize its importance (well, Edward always refuse to change Bella into a vampire too because he values her humanity and wouldn't want her to lose her life. He doesn't want Bella to suffer an eternity with him and just gave in on the last book of the series. Just turned out the Bella was perfect to be a vampire so I could say that all the arguing and rejections on the first three books was crap). My Review on the LG-Blu-ray Disc Player with 1080p Output-BD370

I bought the LG-Blu-ray Disc Player with 1080p Output-BD370 yesterday and really am impressed with it.

It was very easy to set up. It did not however come with a HDMI Cable. Luckily I had an extra one. Hooking it up was easy. The HDMI to the TV and then an Ethernet cable to the airport express.

I popped a blu-ray disk in and it looked amazing. I am also able to watch Netflix now using the blu-ray player. That makes my Netflix subscription more valuable.

The only issue I have with this player is the remote. I have not been able to get it to work with my Panasonic TV. It has codes for several brands in the manual but nothing for Panasonic. So I'm having to use one remote to operate the Blu-ray player and one for the TV but that is not a big issue.

In my opinion this is a great player and very reasonably prices. I'm sure there are others out there that might have more bells and whistles, but I am fully satisfied with this one.

Like millions of other people around the world, my faith and interest in Star Trek has been renewed in the past several months. On May 9, 2009 a new Trek movie was released for the first time in more than five years. But more than that, the movie was actually good. For many Trekkies their love of the franchise had been waning after years of poor management and execution.

For Trek fans everywhere, this is an exciting time to be alive. When the franchise debuted in the 1960s who could have predicted that it would have the impact that it has. Several decades later, in fact nearly fifty years later, people still hang on every word delivered by the favorite Trek captain.

I am writing this article to encourage Trek fans everywhere to consider enhancing their Star Trek DVD collection. Because I know for a fact that many Trekkies lost interest in the late nineties, when the Rick Berman regime went catatonic. As such many Trek libraries became out of date. Oh sure, most Trekkies own the movies on DVD. But, as a fellow Trek fan, I ask you, do you own any other Trek material such as Voyager or Enterprise on DVD?

Many Trekkers fans see the latter series almost as illegitimate. They believed that TOS was the best and that TNG was okay but the series after DS9 are seen as abortions. I ask you to reconsider this position.

Star Trek is Star Trek and every true Trekkie should own every series in its entirety on DVD.

So FarmVille is an application on Facebook which allows you to have a virtual farm. You manage the runnings of the farm day to day by planting crops, reaping them, raring animals, etc.

At first, I really didn't get this game and farming didn't really appeal to me much, however, I gave in and decided to try it and it actually kills the boredom quite nicely. It's very addicting as well and on several occasions throughout my day, I've found myself wondering if my crops are good enough to harvest yet.

Anyway, I found that with this game, coins were very easy to earn however the farm cash or dollars were not. They only awarded me one when I moved up a level or earned a ribbon or so. I wanted more.

Well, I'm happy to say I've found a way to earn or get more farm cash FREE.

While playing this game, I noticed the tab that said "Add Farm Coins & Cash". I decided to click it, only to find that the same free offers that I've been doing for a while now on other sites and making REAL money online, are available on FarmVille. The only difference is that they pay you in Farm Cash instead of real money like I'm use to making.

I filled out a few of these free offers and I'm happy to say that I now own the Manor, the large pond, and the pink barn on FarmVille and I'm only on level 16.

I've had my iPod Touch for about six months now. I love everything about it. Being a Mac enthusiast I knew going into it that I would use my iPod touch for much more than just a media player. But I never knew just how handy it would become. Instead of an AmEx, I don't leave home without my iPod touch.

The app store has made available all kinds of useful applications for iPhone and iPod touch users. Pretty much anything you can do on an iPhone (except make calls obviously), you can do with an iPod touch. Now some apps do require you have WiFi but many can be used with or without it.

I never go to the grocery store without first making my list on the iPod Touch or online with the app GroceryGadget. I can create list based on what stores I'm going to, upload pictures of the products, sort them in various way, and sync between the website and the iPod Touch. It also keeps track of how much I am spending. This had been a must for a person like me who is on a budget.

Keeping track of all my spending has become very easy with the checkbook app. I record every penny I spend and then when I come home I send it as a .qif file to my email account. Then all I have to do is import it into my checkbook program on my computer.

There are too many apps that have helped me in my daily life to list here. My point is that if you are in the market for an iPod Touch, just know that it will serve many needs other than just music and videos if you put it to work for you.

Halo 3: ODST is a video game where players are able to maneuver through a war that takes place in the 26th century. This war is waged between humans and various alien races. The humans are commanded by the United Nations Space Command, while the aliens form what is known as the Covenant. This Halo version is a continuation of the storyline from Halo 2 and was created two years from the release of Halo 3. ODST stands for "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers", which were first introduced in Halo 2.

The main player, known as the Rookie, is an ODST and has 5 teammates to assist with missions. The game begins with the entire team entering their individual Human Entry Vehicles, also known as HEVs. In the process of dropping through the atmosphere towards the Covenant's ship, one of the teammates changes the trajectory of the HEVs. This causes the Covenant ship to enter slipspace, which is similar to hyperspace or warp speed.

The jump by the ship causes a shockwave through the group of HEVs and causes the Rookie's HEV to collide with another. This collision knocks the Rookie unconscious for a total of six hours. The game truly begins upon the Rookie's awakening from unconsciousness.

Along the way to find out where his squadmates are, the Rookie comes across clues of the exploits of his squad. There is a whole slew of rescues, shootings, missions, and a couple of new characters are introduced along the way.

ODST was a side project produced by Bungie on which the composer strayed from the previous Halo themes and focused on more of a soft jazz sound. This game also did not feature the Master Chief, as in previous Halo games, but instead created a story with the ODSTs.

The creative group at Bungie felt the ODSTs had not really been a large part of any story. Although it was originally supposed to be a small project, it ended up becoming a full-sized game and was top seller worldwide among Xbox 360 games.

Positive reviews were given all around, for the music style, atmosphere created, and how the overall story was approached. The scenery may be similar, but almost everything else is new. Being a trooper in Halo 3: ODST, the player is allowed to have access to weapons that are considered to be exclusive. Also, the flashback effect of the game allows the player to assume the role of another teammate. Even though the player is not a supersoldier in this game, the role of the UNSC soldier is no less exhilarating.

New Moon, by Stephenie Meyer, is the second novel in the Twilight series. The upcoming motion picture of the novel is widely anticipated, with previews causing great excitement amongst Twilight fans. Whilst the series was written for a teenage audience, its appeal has spread to readers from all age groups.

The novel starts on a tragic note, when an incident at Bella's birthday party leads Edward, her vampire boyfriend, to the decision to leave her for her own safety. Bella's world falls apart, and for months she spends the days going through the motions, whilst at night she is haunted by nightmares.

Life starts looking up for her a bit when she enters a friendship with Jacob, a boy from the Quileute tribe. When she is with him she can smile again, she finds she doesn't hurt so much, and it's nice to have someone who's there for her and to feel normal once more.

However, Bella's life is not destined to be normal, and there's more to Jacob than meets the eye. On top of that, the chase is still on, with something seeking revenge and determined to get to her.

All that stands between her and tragedy are the wolves... and a race to Italy is all that stands between Edward and the Volturi, an ancient, lethal, all-powerful group of vampires.

In this second novel, it's sometimes difficult to like Bella. She makes some silly decisions, and she can come across as rather selfish. Then again, this is due to the skill of Stephenie Meyer, who is excellent at creating believable characters. Bella is a teenage girl with a broken heart, and sometimes she doesn't behave in a rational manner. This makes her come across as realistic, and ultimately the reader will care about what happens to her.

Jacob is a welcome addition to the plot. A minor character in Twilight, he's brought to the forefront and with him comes a storyline filled with myth and legend.

Whilst the first novel was all about an unlikely romance, New Moon brings depth to the series. The personal development of the characters seems natural, and the plot needed strengthening, which Meyer managed very well through the introduction of the Quileute tribe.

I would recommend this novel for readers of 13 and older. The book contains some tension and a small measure of violence. Some parts are quite intense, and may not be suitable for a younger audience.

Rhapsody Rip off for a Mac

I recently tried to use Rhapsody with a 30 day free trial. Right up front I realized they alienate Mac users by only allowing their software to be downloaded to a PC. I still figured I'd at least give the online player a shot.

I made some playlist, and spent a lot of time using them online. A song would play for a little while, then stop. Some songs would not play at all. Even though Rhapsody says their website is compatible with Macs using Firefox or Safari I found it lacking so much that even before my month was up I canceled my membership.

I can't really figure out what Rhapsody is trying to accomplish. Their software will not work on a Mac, even as Macs continue to gain market share in the US and abroad. Their "to go" feature does not support Apple iPods, which are the most popular music device on earth. They do offer a "to go" app for the iPhone which has terrible ratings. Maybe they are owned by Microsoft or something. All I know is my Mac will stay far from Rhapsody.
