¿Debo Crear un sitio web tradicional o un blog?

En primer lugar no creo que se trate de una cuestión de cuánto tiempo y esfuerzo se necesita para la construcción de una "típica" página web o un blog. El punto central de esta decisión debería ser más bien el uso que usted haga del sitio.

En segundo lugar, también no estoy seguro de que tenga es hablar de "típicos" sitios web. ¿Cómo sería un típico sitio web? Algo estático y codificado en HTML puro?

Si ese es el caso, entonces usted probablemente debería evitarlos. ¿Por qué? Porque hoy tenemos la publicación (CMS), adaptadas a todo tipo de fines, y que le hará la vida mucho más fácil.

En otras palabras, si uno quiere construir una tienda en línea, buscar un CMS que hace eso. Si desea publicar nuevos contenidos en una base regular, busca una plataforma de blogs y así sucesivamente.

En cuanto a las características de cada sitio web, así, creo que varía por completo caso por caso. Usted podría tener un blog con una página (por ejemplo, la promoción de un libro electrónico) al igual que usted podría tener una empresa con un sitio web dinámico en la página principal (por ejemplo, lista de noticias y artículos relacionados).

El mensaje es: no limitarse a lo que se considera "típico". No hay reglas en la web. Todo es flexible y modular. Sólo tiene que elegir un CMS que tiene todas las características que usted necesita, y luego construir su sitio web en torno a sus metas, independientemente de lo que otras personas hacen o dicen.

Nota de pie de página: también me parece que no es necesario gastar dinero para un CMS. WordPress sí que se puede utilizar para crear cualquier tipo de sitio web. Y si quieres algo más concreto, hay un montón de código abierto en torno a soluciones.

Google Analytics is not everything

The title is a little pump, but perhaps what I mean is that besides the great service from Google analytics, which we use most (myself included, obviously) there are some alternatives to the statistics of our sites that are also quite good.

WDL gathered in the main, including Clicky, which takes up a dedicated iPhone version; Reinvigorate which I use in some place and that provides a heat map to see where visitors click most of the site, Mint, which is not free but I've seen work and I loved it and two that are very good, Woopra and GoingUp!.

I recommend giving a tour of WDL, who knows? Analytics maybe spend some of the alternatives, or already passed? What use?

Internet Explorer 8 browser is blocking more sites with malware and phishing

In a study conducted by NSS Labs in the past month of July, showed that Microsoft's browser Internet Explorer 8 blocks more malware and phishing sites than other browsers.

To develop these studies took into account 12,000 suspicious sites and then testing them, took a total of 2171 of them for inclusion in the test.

The browsers used for comparison are:

* Apple Safari 4
* Google Chrome 2
* Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 8
* Mozilla Firefox 3
* Opera Beta 10

The figures are striking for others. In the study in which browsers should detect sites that have malware, IE8 blocked 81% of sites, Firefox 3 only 27%, then 21% with Safari 4, Chrome and Opera 2 7% only 1% of detected sites that have malware.

According to NSS Labs is the same protection in Firefox 3 and Firefox 3.5 and Opera 9 Opera in 10.

Seguramente has oído hablar de ese juego de naipes llamado Poker o incluso has visto algunas competencias por la programacion televisiva que te dejan la boca abierta al ver la cantidad de dinero que se apuesta y se gana. Pues dejame decirte un secreto o no tan secreto. ¨Todo en esta vida se puede aprender¨. Y el Poker también se puede.

Hoy les traigo a análisis un contenido web de primera. Me refiero a una escuela de poker. Si, leíste bien, una escuela de poker. Con tres niveles de aprendizaje y de cursos. Una diplomatura, una licenciatura o un master. Con esto, seguro llegas a ser un profesional.
Pero esto no es todo, también cuanta con infinidad de artículos e información exclusiva del mundo del poker. Entre sus formas de llegar a ti se encuentran los vídeos, podcast, material escrito, blogs, noticias, etc.
Hablando del diseño de la pagina debo comentar que es muy sencillo pero bonito, además combinan los colores perfecto y la navegación resulta muy intuitiva y clara. El registro es gratuito y además necesario para acceder a toda esta información que puede cambiar tu vida.
Debo admitir que lo que mas me a gustado es el slogan de la pagina: “El poker es 100% habilidad y 50% suerte”- Phill Hellmuth.

Pero todavía hay un plus. De los mismos creadores de la escuela de poker que te recomiendo, tenemos un sitio web que te va informar sobre todo lo que pase alrededor del poker. Seguramente esta pagina, que se dedica con un blog especializado a informar las noticias mas importantes del poker, esta pensado para cuando ya aprendas todo lo que necesites saber sobre este juego tan maravilloso y puedas intentar incluso entrar a alguna competencia. Y por supuesto si ya sabes jugar y crees que no necesitas aprender siempre sera importante estar informado y para eso tenemos este sitio informativo del poker.

Así que no hay ninguna excusa para no entrar a esta aventura llamada poker. No pierdas mas tiempo y registrate ya.
