It has to be one of the hardest decisions to celebrities has to make: Come out out of the closet or live a lie. If the blind items that are to be believed, many of the celebs choose to live a public life of lies while having a partner at home that they love and cherish. Why would someone choose to live this kind of life? Some might argue that it is to ensure that their careers survive and thrive, but I don't buy that reasoning in this day and age.

What brings us to this topic today? While reading some articles on seededbuzz, I came across a wonderfully written review on Jobriath A.D. which is featured on The Worley Gig.The film is a documentary about a rock star who is credited as being the first openly gay rocker. His two CDS were critically praised but did not sell well, it is suggested that it might be because of the persona he took on. Which back in the '70's might have been the case.

However it made me think about the celebs today. Adam Lambert tore the closet doors off, once he was done with American Idol, producers allegedly kept him closeted for as long as possible.He does not live a lie and is considered to be very successful, as a matter of fact his sophomore CD debuted on top of the Billboard charts and he is in contention to be a judge on AI this winter. He also went on tour this summer with Queen, replacing the legendary Freddie Mercury.

I also want to point out two actors, Neil Patrick Harris and Matt Bomer, who have transcended the gay career suicide path. NPH is on the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, and hosts all of the award ceremonies that CBS broadcasts. Don't be surprised when he is implemented in the morning news show somehow, and perhaps his own late night talk show.

The other gay, married hottie is on the brink of a huge career, Matt Bomer, is sending women and men into heat waves this summer. First his hit USA show, White Collar is setting record ratings and lifting the cable network to new heights. On top of that he is one of the stars in the hit movie Magic Mike. When I seen the movie, the women in the audience screamed louder for Matt's bump and grind number than they did for any of the other men. This was after he proudly came out and thanked his husband and children for supporting him. A side note, if i was his husband I would never leave his side..or other body parts.

So all of the closeted celebs like Toothy Tile (if it is Jake Gyllenhaal, he's another one that would likely succeed after coming out) take note: you can be gay and keep your career on track if you are honest. Unless of course your idea of success is having to deal with gay scandals every few years ala John Travolta.

Rob Kardashian, Esquire

Ok so I am not a huge fan of the Kardashian clan, we all know this and there is no reason to go over it again. However I must admit to a small crush on Rob Kardashian, I'm not sure if its because he's handsome or if he seems different than his sisters and mother but there is something attractive about him. When he danced on Dancing With The Stars last year everyone kept talking about his cute tush so I had to see for myself and yep he does have a nice rear.

Of course thats not enough to keep me interested in someone though. A guy has to have ambition and/or talent in order to hold my interest, think Scott Evans or James Franco or even Christopher Rice, and it came out that Rob has plenty of ambition! He recently tweeted that he was going to be starting Law School at the University of Southern California in the fall. "Going to Law School very soon and so excited and can't wait!" The stud is following in the footsteps of his late father, and OJ Simpson dream team lawyer Robert Kardashian.

Let's Talk: Talent Or Looks

I was having this debate with a classmate of mine, a swell guy. We were talking about the type of guys that we are attracted to, and why. He unabashedly said the hotter the guy the more into him he is, he cited guys like Kellan Lutz, Liam Hemsworth, and Chris Evans as guys that he would date with just for their looks.

I told him that a guy has to interest me before I can date him. I need someone with ambition and talent. It's one thing to be attracted to a guy but if you can't stimulate one another outside of the bedroom what good is that? I told him I would date guys like James Franco, Scott Evans (he didn't know who he was!), and Sebastian Stan. These guys know what they want and are going for it, one step at a time and really that's a big turn on for me.

We never did come to an agreement other than all of those guys are deliciously hot, so I ask you gossipers; Physical beauty or someone who motivates you intellectually as well as physically.

Ryan Lochte's Family Heart Break

Last week Ryan Lochte seemed to be on top of the world, he was winning Gold medals at the Olympics, tons of people were nurturing crushes on him, and he was named Hunk Of The Week. Underneath all of that acclaim and happiness laid a sad family drama the National Enquirer is reporting.

In 2009 Ryan and his little brother Devon had planned on competing in the Olympics together, on the relay team, “We have a silent goal. We want to be in the Olympics on the same relay team. That would be the best.” Devon told a reporter at the time. Sadly though that dream would not come to fruition as Devon was/is facing demons of his own, an addiction to drugs.

While his brother was facing a drug addiction, his father was also dealing with an addiction to alcohol and an imminent. A source reveals that Ryan was not concerned with himself but rather his family “Just as he was training for the Olympics, his family was crumbling. He had long talks with both his parents and was more worried about them than himself." No matter how many stories come out about his douchey behavior, we now know that this is a really good guy.

Mika Comes Out!!

Do you guys know who Mika is? He sang that fun song "Grace Kelly" a few years back, it's a really catchy tune that makes me happy. In fact as I am writing this post I am listening to it, I haven't heard it in a while and yet I feel as though it was yesterday that I listened to it. So the uber-talented Mika previously identified himself as 'bisexual' but has now come out as gay.

In an interview for an upcoming issue of Instinct the musician reveals his true feelings on his orientation. He says that of you look at his lyrics in a few of his songs you can totally see that it is about a relationship with a man, "If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah." Hmm I'm scouring the lyrics to the aforementioned song now, and looking for others.

Mika also reveals to the magazine that he had found the courage to step forward because of his music. In fact he says it's the only source that he has "And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life." Good for you Mika!! We are super proud of you!!!

Glee Spoilers: Klaine, Sam, and More

The fall TV season is just weeks away and that means that fresh spoilers are leaking out faster than I can sing Stay (I Missed You). come on you know the song by Lisa Loeb, I'm writing a short story/novel chapter about it. Anyways TVLine has offered a few spoilers to tide us over until school is back in session over at McKinley High. Who wants some fresh Glee spoilers? Check them out after the jump!

Sam: Perhaps because Amber Riley isn't back full time for season four or because Ryan Murphy and Co really detest Mercedes/Sam fans, the couple will not be together next year. Ryan told a fan "Alas, no. Sam will have a new girlfriend this year. Guess who it is!" Maybe it's his swimming coach so that Chord Overstreet can stay shirtless all season.

Klaine: Adding fuel to the fire that the very sexy and adorable Darren Criss started late last month, when he talked about wanting to shake up his on screen romance with Chris Colfer. Now it is said that the writers "are working on an episode called 'The Break-Up' that I'm really excited about." I wonder if this will be about multiple couples or just one in particular (Klaine).

More Adele Please: The first group production of the year, usually sets the tone for the entire season. For season four I am kind of excited to see what they are going to do. Ryan Murphy says "The first group number is 'Chasing Pavements' by the fabulous Miss [Adele]," So this will either be a break up season or a highly successful, critically praised season. You tell me.
