I have Emma Jean Jamaican Mango Tango on today, a unique kind of nail polish (read on to see why!). This is such a pretty coral color that is perfect for the current season!

Pictured is Jamaican Mango Tango with two coats and a clear top coat. I could almost get away with one coat but I did a second to seal the deal. The interesting thing about this polish is that it is also SCENTED. Right after I started applying my second nail I could smell the yummy mango scent. Surprisingly the scent is still there after I applied a  regular top coat. Even more surprisingly, 5 days later I can still smell it! I was expecting it to smell for a day, I was wrong! It took about 3 days before I saw my first chip. This could have probably been prevented if I used a better clear coat though.

I recently tried Armour Beauty’s lip gloss in Cat Club. I am stocking up on all pink lippies for the Summer! There’s so many different shades and I think its the perfect color (for anytime of the year!). Plus, pink is my all time favorite color, yes I know, I am such a girl

I’ve never heard of the brand Amour before trying this product. My first reaction when I saw this was “I really like this packaging.” I know its weird but I like it when products have a good appearance. I don’t really like “cheap” looking packaging. I mean I will use products with them but I just think good packaging draws me to an item more.

I actually received this in my goodie bag from The Makeup Show blogger preview. Armour lip gloss was actually the first product I tried when I got home. I really like it! The color is a little sheer but build able. I like the consistency, its not to thin but not too sticky. I immediately went to their website to see what other fun shades they had! It has pretty good staying power but I still bring it with me in my purse for touch ups during the day.

Today I will be showing you how the nude trend can be done under $30 with all Rimmel products! The products shown below were all ONLY $3.97, pretty crazy huh? You can still look presentable without having dark makeup. The nude/natural look trend is great for the Summer since you don’t look too overdone at a pool party or BBQ.

My first experience with Rimmel was in high school, their pencil eyeliner was my most favorite product ever! I was so excited to see these products on sale!

Whats on my face?

Rimmel Clean Finish Matte Foundation in Soft Beige- I really like how this comes with a mini spatula! Easier to scoop out product and more sanitary than pounding it in my hands. The foundation goes on nicely and lasts for about 8 hours. Not bad at all. I’ve never tried a Rimmel foundation before, it was better than I expected!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Buff Beige- I use this after the foundation for extra mattifying power! I need a matte finish and usually foundation alone can’t do that for me. I have been bringing this powder with me in my purse for touch ups.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Bronze- I should have gotten a darker color! I dusted some of of this bronzer on my hairline, temples, and cheeks to give me some dimension

Whats on my eyes?

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner- I usually go for the darkest eye liner color but today I opted for a dark brown for  more toned down look.

Glam’ Eyes Quad Eyeshadows- This comes with 4 different eye shadows. They are very light and perfect to achieve the nude trend. I used the lighter colors on my inner eye and the darkest color on the outer corner. Its very subtle but adds a little color and shimmer on my eyes.

Whats on my lips?

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in Rossetto- This lipstick is amazing. The color is so pretty and even though I am wearing it for a subtle look, it would also look great with a smokey eye!

Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in Endless Summer- This is a shear lip gloss with sparkles! Its build able but I like to wear it on top of  Rossetto for extra shine!

I purchased this set full of Peter Thomas Roth anti aging face products. I was actually finding another pack of Un-Wrinkle to purchase when I came upon this really really good deal. A 60 count of Un- Wrinkle pads cost $45.  This 6 piece kit, including a 60 pack of Un- Wrinkle pads, cost me $39.98! STEAL!

 I have not tried the other products in this set besides the Un-Wrinkle pads. I am excited to try them because every time I do end up trying one of their products, they are amazing. Most of these products individually are  somewhat expensive but worth it.

TIP: Before purchasing something on Sephora or Ulta, check on QVC. Sometimes they have deals going on. Actually I have seen that a lot of times QVC will have sets that are cheaper than just one product on Sephora or Ulta for popular beauty brands. I also bought a PMD for less thn $130 on QVC too!

Before I received these Dr. Sponge products I had never heard of this brand before. The more I read about it, the more interested I became. They make different sponges infused with different things to help wit various skin concerns. There’s lots to choose from. They sell two kinds of sponges, one for the face and one for the body.

Originally designed for babies and sensitive skin, Dr. Sponge™ is extremely gentle, suitable for all skin types, and offers sustainable solutions to various skin concerns.”

The first thing I tried was the Charcoal sponge. I picked this one because charcoal is a popular ingredient for oily skin.

“You can always find a Dr. Sponge™ specifically created for your skincare requirements. Dr. Sponge™ Facial Cleansing Sponge Charcoal contains no synthetic coloring and chemical preservatives. It has been infused with activated bamboo charcoal, which is naturally rich in minerals. This sponge is full of strong absorptive ability and is extremely powerful at drawing out toxins, dirt, and pore-cloggers from excessive oil secretion. This also works perfectly for acne prone skin. Although harsh on unwanted residues from makeup and oil, this sponge is super soft on the skin and is recommended for daily usage of morning and night cleansing.“

These are simple to use. When you first pull it out of the box it is just a hard sponge. Just run it under water until it softens up. Once its nice and soft you can use it. I wanted to try the charcoal face sponge first! I wet my skin and used my African Black Soap. I used the sponge to rub my face. I was really surprised to see how soft it was! Usually sponges have that scratch feeling, not this! When it dries it turns hard again so you can pack it up for travel if needed.

The other sponge I received was a pear powder one for the body. As you can see its bigger than the face one. I really like the body one because it works like a loofah but its super soft and I feel like it creates a lot more lather with a drop of shower gel. I only need a drop of gel or this thing to absorb it in. These sponges will last a couple months with daily use.

Who loves curling their hair?! I do! I am excited to show you an Infiniti Pro, an auto rotating curling iron. I love hair styling devices and own tons. They are all different in sizes, brands, and functions. The Infiniti Pro auto rotating curing iron is definitely something that I do not have! I was relaly interesting in trying this because I have seen them before but never thought to actually buy one since I already had a regular one.

Here it is! It has the same features as a regular curling iron with some extra buttons and extra rotating fun. After having a regular curing iron and a rotating iron, I can say that I prefer the rotating one better!

The L and R button are the way the barrel will rotate, to the left or to the right. The C button centers the barrel again. Everything else is the same as the curling iron you are use to. The Infiniti Pro is really easy to use. I didn’t even have to read the instructions to figure out how to use it.

The Infiniti Pro can be used with one hand! It takes a couple times to get use to it to figure out which way to put your hair in for a let or right rotation. I was getting really confused because it kept rotating the wrong way! Once I figured out, it was a super fast process. My hand doesn’t go numb because I’m holding my hair up and wrapping it which is always a plus. I don’t know about you, but I like feeling in my hand!

I really like the end result, nice loose curls! I would recommend this to anyone who curls their hair everyday, it does make it easier and faster!
