K, well... I was a little late to the game with this one, but I'm currently playing the shiiiiiiiiiiit out of the double LP version that was recently delivered to my home. The "Classic Rock Version" of the title track is absolutely killing me; and not just because I'm kickin' it old school and have to physically lift the tone-arm and place it at the beginning of the song instead of just hitting the "repeat" button. Goddamnit, what a fucking gem of a song. So beautiful, so melodic, so fucking noisy. Just perfect. The way he's somehow able to make me feel simultaneously melancholy and overjoyed with his music consistently amazes me. He's almost Prince-like in his talents; just unfathomably and frustratingly good. I should note that I've purchased a bunch of LP's from Asthmatic Kitty Records (Illinoise, Michigan, The BQE, The Age of Adz and this one) and, in addition to being very reasonable in regard to shipping charges, the records have always been impeccably packed for shipping and have always arrived sooner than I expected. Oh, and they seem to be in the habit of throwing lots of extra goodies in the boxes, too. Anyway, listen, buy, enjoy, and you don't even have to thank me.

Holy fucking shit. I’ve been playing this album repeatedly for the past 24 hours or so, and I cannot believe how fucking rad it is. I've been a fan of these guys since their first release, but they knocked the ball out of the fucking park with this one. Yeah, I just made a baseball analogy and I couldn't give a single fuck about any sport, especially baseball. Sure, I downloaded a “trial” version of this from the internets, but I also ordered the 12” from Black Market Activities about three songs into my first listen. I won’t help you out with the trial version, but you’re a savvy pirate, so I’m sure you don’t need my assistance. Anyway, buy this goddamned album (and a bunch of tshirts and hoodies and maybe even a Danza flask or two) immediately. Get a shirt for your mom, while you're at it... it's christmas, ffs.
