In this episode I go looking for a cache called "So Many Trees" in Fort George Park in Prince George. While working on the cache, I get you up to date on the latest news and introduce some new swag from Landsharkz.

In this episode, I give a brief overview of a program for the Windows platform that allows Geotagging. This program will attach GPS location data to your digital camera's image EXIF data and allow photo sharing sites such as Flickr to show where the picture was taken. This is a great feature for landscape and scenic photos.
Also, there's news on some local and international events, an update on the Prince George WWFM, the British Columbia Cache Blitz and the iTunes contest.

In this episode, I continue with PodCacher's tutorial on RSS feeds demonstrating how to use three popular RSS readers. One is mostly for text sites and two are "Pod Catchers" that download media. Also, I introduce a new cacher, find a location for the WWFM, visit with a Canadian legend and get into the swing of agility season.

Shot in the new "studio" this episode looks a "Armchair Caching". These are virtual caches that can be "found" from your computer with a bit of research, problem solving, and Photoshop skills. These caches are a great way to spend a rainy evening and keep friends and children occupied.

This episode I take a look at Shutterspot, a game played using photos and the GPS. Game players, using pictures, try to mark the spot where the pictures were taken. It's

another fun thing to do with your GPS.
Also, I have a quick peek at the new Garmin Colorado GPS receiver.
The show is shorter then usual. I'm making a few changes to the show including shorter, but more frequent episodes. I hope you enjoy the new length.
Another change is in file formats. Im now creating an Apple TV version that can be played on any computer, however is sized for the Apple TV.
As usual, streaming on YouTube, iTunes version on Blip, and the high res Apple TV, Divx and regular res wmv is on Archive.

Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine - Episode 25

In this episode I take you on a tour of my "Tour de World" multicache. This multi has eight stages leading to the final cache location. Along the way, I visit Prince George's first cache "Firestone in the Woods".
After the trip, I take a look at the Everytrail website that allows you to upload the track log from your GPS and create a route shown on a Google map. Click here to see the trip.

This month's episode features three viewer contributed videos.

First, we're off to Germany for the MegaPott GeOlympics 2007 with a video from MapMakerMike. Then back to North America for highlights from the MOGA 2007 - Midwest Open Geocaching Adventure from Paul Konopacki. This video is a highlight package from a DVD containing over a hour of footage from the event. The full length video is available from the Geo St. Louis site.
Next, it’s off to the west coast of California to join the Podcacher team in a video demonstration of games built into the Garmin GPS 60 series GP’s.
